Abstract

Childfree, as a phenomenon, emerged from Western issues concerning women, such as the rise of feminism, social equality, political campaigns about body autonomy, and so on. The term "childfree" began to evolve in the late 20th century, giving rise to the stigma that couples have the right to decide not to have children to address population excess. The childfree phenomenon has become controversial in society, making it interesting to explore further through an Islamic worldview. The method used in this research is qualitative descriptive with a literature review approach from various reliable sources, including books, journal articles, and more. The study's results indicate that women hold an esteemed position in Islam as mothers and contributors to civilization. In the Islamic worldview, a child is considered a trust and a gift from Allah SWT, highlighting the crucial responsibility of parents in their upbringing. Thus, family and offspring form a foundation that needs strengthening in society to continue human life. The presence of childfree choices has negative social impacts, affecting declining birth rates, mental health, and overall quality of life. Therefore, there is a need to reconstruct the childfree phenomenon in line with the Islamic worldview to restore balance in life.

Abstract

Pesantren economics has increasingly gained attention from various circles, moving away from the traditional stigma of being solely traditional educational institutions. This article explores the role of the Kiai of Darul Pesantren, Menganti, in developing and preparing santripreneurs. This article employs qualitative research with a case study approach. Use the triangulation method. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and verification. The validity of the findings was ensured through extended observation and methodological triangulation. The study's findings reveal that the role of the Kiai in preparing santripreneurs is carried out through several methods: a) Doctrination of students through the learning process, b) Aligning student's areas of expertise with their interests and talents, c) Establishing partnerships and collaborations with third parties, d) Incorporating santripreneurs education into extracurricular activities at the pesantren, e) Providing educational scholarships for students, f) Requiring all students to have savings in the pesantren through BMT (Baitul Maal wa Tamwil). On the other hand, the challenges faced include: a) A lack of motivation among students to learn entrepreneurship, b) Time constraints for both students and instructors, c) Limited entrepreneurial capital, and d) A shortage of human resources within the pesantren.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to understand the strategy of collecting almsgiving funds through the coin movement program at Lazisnu Nganjuk and its management for poverty alleviation. The method employed is qualitative descriptive, with data collection techniques involving observation, interviews, and documentation, followed by analysis using SWOT and triangulation. In this study, it was found that the Coin Movement Program conducted by LAZISNU Nganjuk is implemented through the Direct Fundraising method, involving visiting donors at their houses, and actively involving them in the fundraising process. Additionally, the researcher found that the management of the proceeds from the coin program is not entirely managed by LAZISNU Nganjuk. Instead, the obtained funds are distributed to various sectors, including 5% managed by the Nahdlatul Ulama Branch Board (PC), 10% managed by the Lazisnu Branch Board (PC), 15% managed by the Coin Movement at the Sub-District Level (MWC), and 70% managed at the Village Level. Furthermore, the results of managing the Coin Movement are channeled through the fields of Education, Social Economy, and Disaster Response. Undoubtedly, the impact of this program will provide solutions to alleviate poverty in the community, especially in Nganjuk region. Keywords: Collection; Management; Coin movement and poverty program

Abstract

The research aims to examine the influence of institutional image, religiosity, transparency, and trust on the interest of muzakki in paying zakat at Yatim Mandiri. This study employs a quantitative method with data analysis techniques using a structural equation model (SEM). The research population consists of muzakki from Yatim Mandiri zakat institution in Ponorogo. The sampling technique used is random sampling with the Slovin approach, and the sample size is 164 muzakki. The sources include primary data from questionnaires distributed to muzakki at Yatim Mandiri. The research findings indicate that transparency, religiosity, and trust positively and significantly influence interest, while institutional image negatively and significantly influences interest. Trust is the most dominant factor influencing the interest of muzakki in paying zakat. This research can complement existing theories. Practically, this research can provide an understanding of muzakki in paying zakat. Then, it can become a reference for Yatim Mandiri in maintaining the institution's image, showing a sincere work ethic through transparency, and showing the trust of muzakki so that they can commit to paying zakat.

Abstract

Human resource management is the first point that must be considered by the company, the development of a business requires quality human resource management. The purpose of the study is to determine the implementation of human resource management in terms of sharia maqhasid and improve employee performance. The methods used are qualitative research, while the data used in primary and secondary data research are obtained by researchers through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of research on the application of human resource management have an influence on employee performance, one of which is the results of work. The implementation of human resource management seen from sharia maqhasid is by the review of sharia maqhasid, namely dharuriyyat, hajiyyat, and tahsiniyyat.

Abstract

Managerial performance is a crucial and primary component in enhancing achievements in management. The research aims at empirically examining the effect of Budget Congruence on Managerial Performance, mediated by Procedural Fairness, Distributive Fairness, and Management Accounting Systems at  Islamic State Universities (PTKIN) with public service agency status in East Java. Using a quantitative approach, the respondents were leaders at Islamic State Universities in East Java Province, Indonesia. The findings showed that Budget Congruence significantly impacted Procedural Fairness, Distributive Fairness, and the Management Accounting System. Procedural Fairness and Distributive Fairness could mediate the effect of Budget Congruence on Managerial Performance, while the Management Accounting System failed to mediate the relationship between Budget Congruence and Managerial Performance. These findings highlighted the importance of budget congruence in enhancing procedural fairness and distributive fairness, which ultimately could improve managerial performance.
