Abstract

This study aims to describe the stages of principal supervision in evaluating teacher performance at MIS Al-Hikmah Namorambe and describe the obstacles to principal supervision in evaluating teacher performance at MIS Al-Hikmah Namorambe. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. While data analysis techniques in the form of data reduction, data presentation and data conclusion. The results showed that First, the planning carried out by the principal includes identifying problems based on the objectives of supervision, determining the supervision schedule, selecting supervision techniques that are in accordance with the needs of teachers, and preparing assessment instruments for observation. Second, implementation, which is the process of supervision activities, where principals check the completeness of learning tools, observe the learning process, and conduct assessments based on observation instruments. Third, analysis, where the principal identifies teacher weaknesses based on the observation results. Fourth, follow-up which includes providing solutions to teachers who do not meet the standards and giving awards to teachers who meet the standards. Finally, the preparation of a report by the principal as a guideline for the implementation of supervision in the future, as for the obstacles faced by principals and teachers in implementing this supervision is time management.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) untuk mengetahui proses perencanaan peserta didik di MIS Al Hikmah Namorambe diterapkan dan apa saja langkah-langkah yang diambil oleh sekolah dalam memastikan proses tersebut berjalan efektif. 2) Untuk mengetahui tantangan dan kendala yang dihadapi dalam perencanaan peserta didik di MIS Al Hikmah Namorambe, dan 3) bagaimana sekolah mengatasi masalah-masalah tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunkaan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekataka kualitatif deskriptif, teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara dan dokuemntasi, sedangkan teknik analisa data berupa reduksi data, penyajian dan dan menyimpulkan data dengan teknik keabsahan data melalui Uji Kredibilitas, Uji Transferabilitas, Uji Dependabilitas, dan Uji Konfirmabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Proses perencanaan peserta didik di sekolah ini dimulai dengan melakukan analisis kebutuhan setiap tahun. 2) Tantangan utama yang dihadapi dalam perencanaan peserta didik di MIS Al Hikmah Namorambe mencakup fluktuasi jumlah pendaftar yang sulit diprediksi setiap tahunnya, keterbatasan fasilitas, menjaga komunikasi yang efektif serta memastikan peningkatan kualitas pendidika. 3) Untuk mengatasi tantangan-tantangan ini sekolah melakukan beberapa tindakan seperti memperkuat komunikasi, kerjasama, memanfaatkan ruang multifungsi, jadwal belajar yang lebih fleksibel, mengevaluasi dan memperbaiki sistem penerimaan. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak yang signifikan bagi pengembangan keterampilan guru dalam perencanaan pembelajaran di sekolah.

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the implementation of organizational communication at Madrasah Aliyah Plus Taruna Teknik Al Jabbar Medan and its impact on improving teacher performance. This research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with the main informants being the head of the madrasah and the teachers. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, using triangulation techniques to ensure validity by comparing data collection methods. The results show that the head of the madrasah employs various communication strategies, including personal approaches, regular meetings, the use of digital media, and awarding high-performing teachers. However, obstacles such as differing perceptions, language limitations, and suboptimal use of communication media were identified. In conclusion, effective communication has been shown to improve teacher performance, and communication barriers can be addressed with structured strategies and appropriate media utilization.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sistem pengelompokan siswa dan pembinaan kedisiplinan di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode wawancara, observasi, dan analisis dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada tahap rekrutmen, MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar menerapkan beberapa cara untuk menarik calon siswa, seperti sosialisasi melalui seminar, kunjungan ke sekolah, dan penyebaran informasi melalui media sosial. Proses seleksi dilakukan melalui seleksi administrasi, tes akademik, tes fisik dan mental, serta wawancara dengan orang tua dan calon siswa. Sistem pengelompokan siswa di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar didasarkan pada prestasi akademik, kemampuan teknis, karakter siswa, dan sikap disiplin. Namun, sistem ini menghadapi beberapa tantangan, seperti perbedaan latar belakang pendidikan siswa, dinamika kelompok yang sulit diprediksi, dan kesulitan dalam menjaga keseimbangan antara standar disiplin dan kebutuhan individu. Pembinaan kedisiplinan di MA Taruna Teknik Al-Jabbar dilakukan melalui berbagai program, yaitu program semi-militer, pembinaan karakter, program keagamaan, kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, Character Building Camp, dan Leadership Training Camp. Semua program ini bertujuan untuk membentuk kedisiplinan yang melibatkan aspek fisik, mental, dan pengembangan karakter siswa. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan tentang penerapan sistem pengelompokan siswa dan pembinaan kedisiplinan yang dapat diterapkan di lembaga pendidikan Islam lainnya.
