Abstract

The market potential of the halal cosmetics is currently very promising and the use of cosmetics among millennials is increasing. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to analyze the factors that impact millennial consumers' decisions to buy halal cosmetics. This study analyzes whether factors such as halal awareness, halal certification and religiosity are able to influence millennial consumers' decisions in buying halal cosmetics with purchase intention as a mediating variable. In this study, a quantitative method using survey research was applied. The method of sampling utilized in this investigation was incidental sampling, where the study sample was as many as 185 millennial consumers in Central Java province with the condition that they were millennials born between 1981 to 1996 and had bought halal cosmetic products. Data collection techniques use online questionnaires in the form of Google forms that are disseminated through social media, such as Instagram and Whatsapp. The data analysis method used is SEM-PLS by using SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The results of this study found that the variables of halal awareness, halal certification and religiosity have a positive and significant influence on millennial consumers' decisions in buying halal cosmetics. Consumer purchase intent was able to mediate the relationship between variables of halal awareness, halal certification, religiosity and purchase decisions significantly. The findings of this research can be used as consideration for manufacturers or marketers of cosmetic products to pay attention to religious aspects in promoting their products. Those in the cosmetics industry who are trying to reach millennials might think about getting their products halal certified. Especially in the context of advertising. One marketing strategy that has shown success is labeling items as "halal certified."

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Ki Ageng Pekalongan (STAIKAP) merupakan salah satu dari berbagai lembaga pendidikan yang berada di bawah Yayasan Madrasah Islamiyah (YMI). STAIKAP memiliki pertimbangan manajemen risiko keuangan yang spesifik karena YMI menggunakan sistem pengelolaan keuangan terpusat. Studi ini membahas langkah-langkah manajemen risiko keuangan STAIKAP dalam arsitektur terpusat YMI. Bab ini menyelidiki potensi bahaya yang terkait dengan pengendalian keuangan terpusat dan menjelaskan upaya proaktif yang diambil oleh STAIKAP untuk memitigasi risiko tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan studi kasus kualitatif, dengan data yang diperoleh melalui wawancara semi terstruktur, analisis dokumen, dan observasi. Data diperiksa dengan metode tematik dan komparatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan pentingnya komunikasi terbuka, audit internal, peningkatan kapasitas, dan mekanisme pemantauan berkelanjutan untuk manajemen risiko keuangan yang efisien dalam konteks sentralisasi.

Abstract

The profit-sharing system with a mudharaba scheme is an early concept of Islamic banking. However, mudharaba is starting to be abandoned by customers and sharia banks because it carries high risks. This research will discuss Muhammad Baqir al-Sadr's thoughts on the profit-sharing system in the mudharaba scheme. The method used is descriptive qualitative by taking primary data sources in the form of a book written directly by al-Sadr entitled: Al-Bank al-Laribawi fi al-Islam. This research found several results, namely: (1) the profit-sharing system in al-Sadr's version of the mudharaba scheme is different from the mudharaba concept in general. This research further shows al-Sadr's prominence in the field of sharia economics, because al-Sadr also has an original concept about Islamic banking. (2) This research found that al-Sadr's thoughts have significance for efforts to develop sharia banking in the future, especially regarding strengthening moral values in the relationship between sharia banks and customers. (3) This research further shows al-Sadr's prominence in the field of sharia economics, because al-Sadr also has an original concept about Islamic banking.

Abstract

The development of Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) has become a significant topic of discussion globally, particularly in emerging markets where financial inclusion, monetary sovereignty, and banking stability are key concerns. This study explores the potential impact of CBDC implementation on the profitability and system stability of commercial banking systems in these economies. This research adopts a qualitative approach through a literature review of CBDC implementations in key emerging economies, including China, Nigeria, Brazil, Russia, and India. The study finds that while CBDCs can enhance efficiency and financial accessibility, their impact varies depending on a country's banking infrastructure, regulatory framework, and financial stability measures. In some cases, CBDCs have exacerbated liquidity risks for commercial banks, while in others, they have promoted digital innovation and alternative revenue streams. The findings highlight the need for strategic collaboration between central banks and commercial financial institutions to mitigate risks while leveraging the benefits of CBDCs. Policy recommendations include implementing limits on CBDC holdings, integrating CBDCs with existing banking services, and fostering regulatory frameworks that support a balanced financial ecosystem. This study contributes to the academic discourse on digital currencies and banking by offering insights into the evolving role of central banks and commercial banks in the digital financial landscape.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) menghasilkan modul produk berupa modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi; (2) mendeskripsikan kelayakan modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara untuk meningkatkan keterampilan literasi numerasi pada siswa sekolah dasar; (3) mendeskripsikan efektifitas modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara yang dihasilkan. Metode penelitian ini adalah research and development menurut Borg & Gall (1983) dengan 10 tahapan, diantaranya: research and information collecting; planning; develop preliminary form of product; preliminary field testing; main product revision; main field testing; operational product revision; operational field testing; final product revision; dan dissemination & implementation. Subjek uji coba skala terbatas dalam penelitian ini adalah kelas 1B SD ARB, subjek uji coba skala luas adalah kelas 1A dan 1C SD ARB. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu kuesioner, observasi, dan wawancara. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kualitatif deskriptif dan kuantitatif berupa kuasi eksperimen. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa (1) menghasilkan produk berupa modul matematika dasar berbasis metode sariswara. Adapun modul matematika ini memiliki karakteristik self intruction, self contained, berdiri sendiri,  adaptif, bersahabat, dan kekhasan metode sariswara; (2) hasil validasi produk memperoleh penilaian dari ahli materi rerata 86% termasuk dalam kriteria layak dan dari ahli desain rerata 89% termasuk dalam kriteria layak; (3) hasil uji efektifitas pada coba terbatas memperoleh n-gain score 56% termasuk dalam kategori cukup efektif dan uji coba luas menunjukkan jika pada kelompok eksperimen mempunyai nilai rata-rata yang lebih tinggi dibanding kelompok kontrol. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai kelompok eksperimen lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok kontrol.

Abstract

Proses pembelajaran semestinya menyeimbangkan aspek pengetahuan, sikap, dan keterampilan sehingga siswa tidak hanya cerdas secara pengetahuannya saja, tetapi juga memiliki sikap atau karakter yang melekat. Salah satu karakter yang perlu ditanamkan dalam diri siswa yaitu peduli lingkungan. Wujud kecintaan terhadap lingkungan tidak hanya sebatas merawat tumbuhan saja, akan tetapi merawat hewan termasuk dalam sikap kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Tumbuhnya sikap kepedulian terhadap hewan perlu ditanamkan di sekolah dasar yang terintegrasi dengan mata pelajaran. Gerakan SEPEKAN (Serentak Pelihara Ikan) merupakan salah satu program untuk menumbuhkan kecintaan terhadap hewan peliharaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan Gerakan SEPEKAN dapat menciptakan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan bermakna. Siswa terlibat langsung dalam memberi makan ikan, menguras botol tempat memelihara ikan, dan membersihkan tempat sekitar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the governance of higher education institutions facing specific challenges, using a dynamic system model to gain a deeper understanding compared to traditional governance approaches. The approach used in this study is qualitative, with a case study design and purposive sampling technique to select participants. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, which were then analyzed using thematic analysis. The study results indicate that effective governance relies on adaptive leadership, transparency in decision-making, and active stakeholder participation. This study contributes by developing a measurable framework to assess these governance elements and demonstrating how a dynamic system model can improve institutional performance. Practical implications of this study include the importance of aligning leadership practices with the specific needs of the institution, as well as the need to increase stakeholder engagement. Recommendations generated from this study are expected to be applied to other higher education institutions facing similar challenges to improve governance effectiveness and institutional performance.
