Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the implementation of the vocational training and productivity program policy towards improving human resources in Bantaeng Regency. This research was conducted in Bantaeng Regency on July 15-20, 2024. The type of research is descriptive qualitative. Descriptive research is research with data collected in the form of words, pictures, and not numbers. The results of the study indicate that training programs that are in accordance with the needs of the local industry, BPVP can increase worker potential, support economic growth, and strengthen skills relevant to the labor market in accordance with Bantaeng Regency Regional Regulation Number 2 of 2015 concerning the Implementation of Job Training and Productivity stated in Article 6 paragraph (1) the implementation of job training is based on three main pillars, namely work competency standards, competency-based job training and competency certification. The role of the Bantaeng Regency Vocational Training and Productivity Center in human resource management is to provide training to the community in Bantaeng Regency. The training programs that are run are the result of human resource planning efforts. The purpose of this training program is to produce quality workers in the future.

Abstract

This study aims to determine what factors drive employee work motivation and efforts to improve employee work motivation at the Bone-Bone Village Office, Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency. The type of research uses a qualitative method with a descriptive research type. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study overall employee performance motivation at the Bone-Bone Village Office, Bone-Bone District, North Luwu Regency is not good using Abraham Maslow’s theory which consists of (1) physiological needs are met, there is rest time given for lunch, prayer and providing a drinking water dispenser; (2) The need for a sense of security is met, there is health insurance in the form of BPJS Employment; (3) Social needs are met, the work atmosphere is harmonious, comfortable, and full of familiarity, there is openness from superiors and participation of each employee through meetings; (4) The need for recognition of awards is met, giving praise, giving bonuses and sometimes recreation; (5) The need for self-actualization is quite met, there are special training activities for civil servants according to their competence.

Abstract

Stunting adalah masalah kesehatan yang serius di Indonesia, terutama di daerah pedesaan, yang disebabkan oleh kekurangan gizi dan berdampak pada pertumbuhan fisik serta perkembangan otak anak. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stunting dapat dikenali melalui pengukuran tinggi badan anak yang berada di bawah -2 standar deviasi dari median WHO. Program pengabdian masyarakat yang dilaksanakan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Pancasakti Makassar di Desa Maero, Kecamatan Bontoramba, Kabupaten Jeneponto, bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman masyarakat mengenai pencegahan stunting. Kegiatan ini mencakup sosialisasi, edukasi langsung, dan distribusi brosur mengenai pentingnya gizi seimbang, pemberian ASI eksklusif, serta pemantauan tumbuh kembang anak. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan masyarakat dan implementasi informasi yang diperoleh dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Selain itu, pengukuran tinggi badan juga dilakukan untuk mendeteksi stunting sejak dini. Meskipun terdapat kendala seperti keterbatasan waktu dan sumber daya, kegiatan ini berhasil mencapai tujuan yakni dapat terlaksana dan partisipasi masyarakat untuk ikut dalam kegiatan ini pencegahan stunting. Diharapkan program serupa dapat dilaksanakan secara berkelanjutan dengan memperkuat koordinasi dan memperluas partisipasi masyarakat guna memberikan dampak yang lebih luas dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Background : Regional Governments hold a crucial role in providing public services and fostering regional development. However, along the way, the bureaucrary in many of these governments often faces various challenges. Complex organitation structures, convoluted procedures, a lack of innovative work culturem and the appointment of officials who don’t follow proper mechanisms or lack spesific competence often become major obstacles to creating effective and efficient governance. As a result, the quality of public services is hindered, transparancy isn’t achieved, accountability is hard to reach, and public satisfaction begins to decline. Objective: As one stratrgic solution, restructuring isn’t just a matter of changing names or reorganizing positions. It’s a fundamental transformation aimed at creating a results-oriented bureaucracy. Methods: This research uses a qualitative aproach with in-depth interview technique, focusing on high-level and regular officials. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with key informants and document analysis followed the model of Miles and Huberman, starting with data reduction, wich involves summarizin, selecting, and focusing the data gathered from interviews, observations, and documents Results: Implementing bureaucratic restructuring in the Luwu Utara Regional Government will face major obstacles in achieving good governance. Structural transparant, efficient, and accountable bureaucracy if they are not acoompanied by changes in the culture of official appointments, the work culture, political commitment, and the active involvement of all parties. However, for long-term success, bureaucratic restructuring must be a fundamental part of a comprehensive and suistainable reform, not just an incidental program.
