Abstract

Kemampuan berpikir kritis sangat diperlukan dalam menganalisis suatu permasalahan sampai dengan mencari solusi untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut. Model pembelajaran PBL sangat sesuai digunakan untuk melatih kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa karena mampu menstimulus kemampuan berpikir siswa sehingga membantu membangun kebiasaan berpikir kritis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) berbantu media quizizz terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa PGSD pada mata kuliah IPS 2. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian eksperimen semu (quasi eksperimen). Desain quasi eksperimen yang digunakan adalah non-equivalent control group design. Non-equivalent control group design merupakan desain penelitian yang terdiri dari kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol. Kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 38 mahasiswa dan kelas kontrol terdiri dari 37 mahasiswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi dan tes. Teknik analisis menggunakan analisis deskriptif yang dihitung dengan membandingkan nilai rata-rata setiap variabel dengan kriteria kurva standar. Uji prasyarat analisis menggunakan uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas. Uji hipotesis yang digunakan adalah uji paired sampel t-test. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran PBL berbantu media quizizz berpengaruh signifikan terhahap peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis mahasiswa.

Abstract

Every student is required to produce a scientific work. In writing scientific papers, writing citations and managing journal references are important. This study aims to provide students with skills improvement in writing citations and managing journal articles as references for writing scientific papers using PAPALE (Mendeley Practical Guide). A total of 120 students from three classes were selected purposively because they were taking courses that required academic writing. The training was carried out through an interactive workshop approach divided into four stages: preparation, theory delivery, direct practice, and evaluation and feedback. The evaluation results showed a significant increase in students' technical skills, with 87% being able to insert citations and compile bibliographies automatically, and 79% showing an understanding of thematic reference management. The average pretest score of participants was in the range of 19 - 29 and increased to 86 - 95 in the posttest. The level of satisfaction with the training was very high, with an average score between 93.2 and 99.5. Participant comments revealed that the training succeeded in overcoming initial difficulties in using Mendeley, building self-confidence, and facilitating the process of writing scientific papers. These findings indicate that PAPALE training is effective in equipping students with essential competencies in digital management of academic citations and references.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mnegetahui pengaruh signifikan dari penerapan media pembelajaran wordwall terhadap hasil belajar dalam pembelajaran IPAS pada siswa kelas V Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri Sindangsari Subang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian quasi experiment dengan desain nonequivalent comparison group. Instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar IPAS. Analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah uji prasyarat dan uji hipotesis. Uji prasyarat ymeliputi uji normalitas dan uji homogenitas, sedangkan uji hipotesis dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji paired sample t-test dan uji independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan media pembelajaran wordwall berpengaruh signifikann terhadap peningkatgan hasil belajar IPAS siswa.

Abstract

Difficulties in learning social studies are not only influenced by internal student factors, but also by external factors, such as the use of less varied learning methods, limited learning media, and a teacher-centered learning approach. Although various studies have discussed difficulties in learning social studies in general, studies that specifically identify the types of learning difficulties and their causal factors in certain elementary school contexts are still limited. This study uses a qualitative approach, namely a research approach that focuses on collecting data in the form of words, statements, behaviors, images, and relevant documents. A qualitative approach was chosen because this study seeks to understand the phenomenon of difficulties in learning social studies in depth through naturalistic descriptions and comprehensive analysis. The research subjects were 28 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Sodong who participated in the entire series of social studies learning activities. Previous studies related to difficulties in learning Social Studies (IPS) in elementary school students generally highlight certain factors separately, such as learning methods or student learning motivation, without examining the relationship between internal and external factors in a particular school context.
