Abstract

Indonesia's rich diversity encompasses various ethnicities, cultures, and religions, with deeply ingrained marriage customs such as the Sasak tradition of Merariq, which reflects a delicate balance between Islamic law and socio-cultural dynamics while facing challenges of persistence and extinction in modern times. This study aims to provide an overview of how local wisdom can be explored from various perspectives, particularly within the framework of Islamic law and the socio-cultural dynamics prevalent in Sasak society. This study employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive analysis method. The research involves data collection through observations in Terong Tawah Village, West Lombok, and interviews with various key figures, including youth leaders, customary leaders, religious leaders, and community members. Additionally, documentation related to the implementation of the Merariq tradition in Terong Tawah Village was conducted to ensure the validity of the obtained data. The research findings elucidate that the Merariq tradition still holds cultural significance but has been simplified to align with Islamic teachings. This tradition involves stages such as midang, memaling, nyelabar, akad nikah, sorong serah, begawe, and bejango or nyongkolan. Implementing the Sasak customary wedding ceremony or Merariq must be harmonized with Islamic understanding to ensure compliance with Islamic principles.

Abstract

Abstrak: Pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efektivitas integrasi pendekatan Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) dan teori Vygotsky Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi dan numerasi peserta didik di lingkungan non-formal. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Rumah Belajar KKN-Dik Desa Mujur dari tanggal 5 Agustus hingga 15 September 2024, dengan peserta terdiri dari siswa kelas 3 hingga 6 sekolah dasar. Pendekatan yang digunakan melibatkan pembagian siswa berdasarkan kemampuan aktual dan potensial mereka, serta pemberian bimbingan yang sesuai dengan tingkat perkembangan masing-masing. Hasil pengabdian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan yang signifikan dalam kemampuan literasi dan numerasi. Nilai rata-rata literasi meningkat dari 36,87 pada pre-test menjadi 81,00 pada post-test, sedangkan numerasi meningkat dari 34,38 menjadi 79,75. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan keberhasilan metode TaRL dan ZPD dalam memfasilitasi perkembangan peserta didik di daerah dengan akses pendidikan terbatas. Kesimpulan dari pengabdian ini menegaskan bahwa model pembelajaran yang tepat sasaran, berbasis tingkat perkembangan individual, mampu secara efektif meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan, terutama di bidang literasi dan numerasi.Abstract: This community service program aims to analyze the effectiveness of integrating the Teaching at the Right Level (TaRL) approach with Vygotsky's Zone of Proximal Development (ZPD) theory in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills in a non-formal educational setting. The program was conducted at the Rumah Belajar KKN-Dik in Mujur Village from August 5 to September 15, 2024, involving participants from third to sixth grade. The approach involved grouping students based on their actual and potential abilities, providing guidance tailored to their developmental levels. The results indicate a significant improvement in both literacy and numeracy skills. The average literacy score increased from 36.87 in the pre-test to 81.00 in the post-test, while numeracy scores rose from 34.38 to 79.75. This improvement reflects the success of the TaRL and ZPD methods in fostering student development in areas with limited access to education. The findings conclude that targeted, developmentally-appropriate teaching models effectively enhance educational quality, particularly in the areas of literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of logical intelligence on the effectiveness of problem-based learning strategies. The research adopts the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method, utilizing data from 22 peer-reviewed international journal articles indexed in Google Scholar and published by various academic sources. The findings reveal that logical intelligence significantly influences the effectiveness of classroom learning strategies. Logical intelligence serves as a critical factor in enhancing students' academic outcomes, where the implementation of problem-solving approaches fosters critical and logical thinking skills essential for addressing academic challenges. By understanding these characteristics, educators can design appropriate teaching strategies, establish inclusive learning environments, and provide opportunities for students to contribute optimally. Additionally, the study highlights the importance of integrating traditional and digital instructional media to enrich students' learning experiences. This combination not only increases student engagement but also ensures that the learning process remains relevant and meaningful. The conclusions emphasize that incorporating logical intelligence into problem-based learning strategies can substantially enhance classroom learning effectiveness, offering valuable insights for educators aiming to improve pedagogical practices.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran NHT dalam Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan memiliki tantangan tersendiri seperti kesiapan guru dan kebutuhan pelatihan dan pendampingan untuk secara efektif mengintegrasikan prinsip-prinsip NHT ke dalam proses pembelajaran yang ada. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengkaji efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Numbered Head Together (NHT) dalam peningkatan hasil belajar Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn) pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Islam Aswaja Syamsul Falah. Melalui metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Pendekatan ini mengintegrasikan empat tahapan yaitu perencanaan, tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data adalah observasi, wawancara, dan tes hasil buatan guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model NHT secara signifikan merangsang keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam proses pembelajaran, meningkatkan pemahaman mereka terhadap materi yang diajarkan, serta mengembangkan keterampilan sosial yang penting. Model ini berhasil meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa meskipun dihadapkan pada tantangan untuk memastikan partisipasi aktif dari semua siswa. Selain itu, penyesuaian metode NHT dengan karakteristik spesifik siswa terbukti meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang inklusif, serta mendukung adaptasi siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa model NHT dapat dianggap sebagai strategi pembelajaran yang efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan khususnya dalam mata pelajaran PPKn.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the Begawe Merariq tradition of the Sasak community in Lombok by analyzing the integration of Islamic values and the gendered division of roles within the ceremonial process. The research focuses on how men’s and women’s roles are structured, legitimized, and sustained through customary norms and religious principles. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach to explore social realities as they occur within the community. Data were collected through direct observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, involving traditional leaders, community leaders, youth leaders, and male and female chefs who actively participate in Begawe Merariq activities. Primary data were complemented by secondary data obtained from relevant scholarly literature. Data analysis was conducted using the interactive model developed by Miles and Huberman, which encompasses data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study's results indicate that Begawe Merariq functions as a cultural and religious institution that structures collective participation and strengthens social cohesion. Men mainly undertake public decision-making, coordination, and physically demanding tasks, while women play strategic roles in preparation, hospitality, and consumption management at later stages of the ceremony. This complementary division of labor is rooted in Sasak customs and Islamic ethical values, enabling the tradition to sustain cultural continuity amid social change.

Abstract

Purpose of the study: This study aims to conduct a meta-analysis of various studies discussing the implementation of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) in differentiated learning based on the lesson study approach across different educational levels. Methodology: The study employs a quantitative meta-analysis method by analyzing 88 articles published between 2020 and 2025, retrieved from several academic databases such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, DOAJ, PubMed, WorldCat, Dimensions, and Portal Garuda. Main Findings: The findings show a very high overall effect size (ES = 1.086; SE = 0.157). Specifically, elementary (ES = 1.049) and senior high schools (ES = 0.826) show high effects, while junior high schools demonstrate the strongest and most consistent impact (ES = 1.475). Novelty/Originality of this study: This study’s novelty lies in integrating differentiated learning with the lesson study approach under the Independent Curriculum, offering empirical evidence of its strong positive effect on learning quality across educational levels and highlighting its potential as an innovative model for improving teaching effectiveness in Indonesian schools.
