Abstract

Dalam era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang pesat, pemahaman tentang investasi menjadi sangat penting untuk mempersiapkan generasi muda dalam menghadapi tantangan ekonomi masa depan. Belajar tentang investasi bukan hanya tentang mendapatkan keuntungan finansial, tetapi juga tentang memahami pentingnya literasi numerasi dalam pengambilan keputusan keuangan secara bijaksana. Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat di SMA Negeri 2 Seram Bagian Barat ini meliputi pembelajaran matematika keuangan yang berkaitan dengan investasi dan diskusi interaktif yang bertujuan untuk memberikan pengetahuan dasar mengenai investasi, jenis-jenis instrumen investasi, serta manfaatnya. Diharapkan setelah mengikuti kegiatan ini, siswa dapat memiliki pengetahuan yang cukup untuk membuat keputusan finansial yang bijak di masa depan serta menjadi kontributor yang lebih terampil dalam perekonomian global yang semakin kompleks.

Abstract

Low financial literacy among teenagers in rural areas is a challenge that needs to be addressed immediately. The FINACT (Financial Innovation and Annuity Concepts for Teens) program is designed as a form of community service that aims to introduce basic concepts of financial planning, especially annuities, through an interactive and contextual approach. This activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 5 Kairatu with discussion-based learning methods, simulations, and educational games. The results of the activity showed an increase in student participation and interest in financial topics, although there were obstacles in basic arithmetic skills. Communication of financial literacy with basic mathematics learning and an adaptive approach to student understanding are needed. The program shows potential as an initial step in forming a more financially capable young generation.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar dan terencana dalam rangka mengembangkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas sehingga dapat menghadapi persaingan dan tantangan dunia yang terus berkembang. Pada tahun 2020 pemerintah telah mengeluarkan kebijakan pembelajaran secara daring. Hal ini dilakukan untuk mengantisipasi penularan virus corona (Covid-19). Dalam pembelajaran daring, mahasiswa dan dosen dapat mengikuti proses belajar mengajar dimana saja dan kapan saja sehingga belajar mengajar bisa tetap dilaksanakan dengan baik, meskipun berada pada masa pendemi covid-19. Pembelajaran daring dimasa pandemi Covid-19 belum bisa dikatakan optimal dan masih menghadapi berbagai permasalahan baik teknis ataupun non teknis. Hal ini diduga dipengaruhi oleh kinerja dosen dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa yang berdampak langsung kepada Indeks Prestasi Semester (IPS) mahasiswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Program Studi Statistika FMIPA Universitas Pattimura dengan menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Diperoleh hasil bahwa dosen program studi statistika fmipa unpatti memiliki kinerja yang baik dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa dikategorikan tinggi. Selain itu, Indeks Prestasi Mahasiswa (IPS) program studi statistika fmipa unpatti berada pada kategori sangat memuaskan. Adapun pengujian analisis regresi berganda diperoleh hasil bahwa variabel kinerja dosen dan motivasi belajar mahasiswa program studi statistika fmipa unpatti dapat mempengaruhi IPS mahasiswa dengan koefisien determinasi ( ) sebesar 0,685 (68,5%).

Abstract

Poverty is a complex issue. According to BPS publications, in 2023, the poverty line in Indonesia has reached 9.57%. Maluku is one of the provinces with a high poverty rate, reaching 16.23%. This research aims to classify poverty status in Maluku Province using the SMOTE-random forest algorithm. This research uses SUSENAS 2022 data, where the data is not balanced. SMOTE is used to overcome this problem. The best model obtained has an accuracy rate of 85.8%. The model is based on a training data proportion of 75% and testing 25%, with parameters m=4 and r=100. The critical factor that influences poverty status in Maluku Province is the number of households.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze investment risks in Maluku Province using the Mean-Variance approach on the Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) data. The method used in this study is a quantitative analysis of time-series data on PAD from 2015 to 2022. The mean-variance model is used to calculate the rate of return and risk of each PAD component and to construct an efficient frontier as a basis for optimal decision-making. The results show that the regional tax PAD component offers a high rate of return with relatively low risk, potentially making it a stable source of revenue for local governments. These findings provide a basis for optimizing PAD allocation to improve fiscal stability and the sustainability of regional development.

Abstract

Mathematical models are crucial for developing control strategies,  understanding disease transmission dynamics, and solving real-world problems. In this study, it applied a novel approach to the HIV/AIDS model. The saturated treatment was essentially used to model HIV/AIDS. A significant analysis of the HIV/AIDS epidemic model was presented, incorporating the new parameter. The mathematical analysis conducted on the model involved the examination of its boundedness,  determination of its equilibria, calculation of the HIV/AIDS reproductive number, and assessment of the stability of these equilibria.  The verification of the convergence analysis confirmed the effectiveness of the proposed scheme. The numerical results and simulations of the HIV/AIDS model are shown.  Biologically, we have conducted investigations to determine the effect of several parameters on the dynamics of HIV/AIDS transmission.

Abstract

Professional scientific journal management requires transparent, inclusive, and data-driven governance practices, including in terms of author involvement based on gender. This article aims to analyze the involvement of male and female authors in Berekeng journal publications as part of the reflection and contribution of the scientific journal management profession. The method used is quantitative descriptive analysis that analyzes the dynamics of gender participation in scientific publications during the 2007–2025 period. The results of the study show that the 2007–2018 period was significantly dominated by male authors (peaking at 84.44% in 2018). However, there was a rapid transition towards balance in 2019–2021, where female participation began to prevail (54.63% in 2021). This pattern continued in the 2023–2025 period, showing a new significant dominance by female authors (peaking at 56.45% in 2024). Overall, the total number of female authors (50.81%) slightly exceeded that of male authors (49.19%). This dramatic shift implies a fundamental change in the academic community. Specifically in the context of Mathematics, this trend is predicted to encourage diversification of research topics into Applied Mathematics and Data Science, strengthen interdisciplinary collaboration, and create a more inclusive research environment. This study concludes that gender equality efforts have fundamentally changing the landscape of publishing. These activities are expected to strengthen the capacity of journal managers in implementing data-driven management while promoting fair and sustainable scientific publishing practices as a tangible manifestation of professional dedication in the field of scientific journal management.
