Abstract

This research focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of public relations strategies in attracting prospective new students at MTs. At Taqwa. The main objective of this study is to identify factors that influence students' decision to enroll and evaluate how public relations strategies that reflect Islamic values affect the perceptions and beliefs of prospective students. This study used a mixed method, with observation and interview techniques for a qualitative approach and questionnaire distribution for a quantitative approach. Data was collected from MTs. At Taqwa located on Jalan HOS Cokroaminoto Number 45, Kademangan Village, Bondowoso District, Bondowoso Regency. The results showed that the dominant PR strategy using social media and promotional videos had a significant influence on students' decision to enroll. In addition, trust in the information submitted by public relations and satisfaction with the information also play an important role in registration decisions. Islamic values conveyed through public relations strategies are proven to increase the trust and interest of prospective students. The implications of this study emphasize the importance of combining holistic and integrated public relations strategies with the use of modern media and the delivery of Islamic values in the context of Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This research focuses on the understanding and challenges faced by students in maintaining the consistency of wearing hijab, as well as the role of schools in supporting the understanding and practice of hijab among students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study design, which combines data collection techniques of interview, observation, and documentation. Respondents involved in this study consisted of students, religious teachers, and school staff who play a role in religious activities. The data obtained were analyzed through the stages of reduction, display, and verification to draw valid conclusions. The results showed that the majority of students in both schools viewed hijab as an important expression of religious identity and as a form of modesty. However, they face challenges in maintaining consistency in wearing the hijab, mainly due to the influence of peer pressure, social media, and social norms outside the school environment. In addition, this study also found that religious education programs implemented in schools have a significant role in shaping the understanding and practice of hijab among students. Support from peers, family, and school environment proved to be important in encouraging students to maintain wearing hijab. The implications of this study suggest that a supportive school environment, both structurally and socially, can strengthen students' consistency in wearing hijab, while enriching their understanding of religious values. This research provides important insights for the development of a more holistic religious education curriculum.

Abstract

This study examines the development of the Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah value-based curriculum at MI At-Taqwa Bondowoso, focusing on planning, implementing, and evaluating the curriculum. The main problem is how Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah's values are applied in a curriculum that prioritizes academic aspects and the formation of students' character. This research is relevant because although there is much literature on religion-based education, applying these values in students' daily lives in madrasas is still minimally explored. The research method used is a qualitative approach with case studies, where data is obtained through in-depth interviews with teachers, madrasah heads, and parents of students, as well as analysis of documentation and findings in the field. The study results show that curriculum planning is carried out collaboratively between teachers, parents, and the community, aiming to create a balance between academic intelligence and character building. The implementation of the curriculum is reflected in students' daily activities, such as congregational prayers and routine recitations. Curriculum evaluations are carried out periodically to ensure suitability with student development. These findings contribute to understanding how Ahlussunnah Wal Jama'ah-based education can be implemented holistically in madrasas.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the concept of authentic leadership in the perspective of Islamic education, focusing on the values of integrity, honesty, trust, and harmony between personal values and the actions of leaders. The background of this research is rooted in the importance of leadership based on moral and spiritual principles in the context of education, especially in Islamic educational institutions, where such values can create a healthy, productive, and trusting work climate. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research, which relies on the analysis of documents from various written sources, such as international journals, books, and relevant scientific articles. The findings show that integrity and honesty, which in Islam are represented by the concepts of sidq and trust, play a key role in building authentic leadership, which focuses not only on worldly achievements, but also on the well-being of the ummah and the balance between personal and social interests. This research contributes to understanding how Islamic concepts such as sincerity and tawakkal (surrender to Allah) can enrich and deepen our understanding of authentic leadership in the context of Islamic education, as well as provide guidance for educational leaders in applying authentic principles based on moral and spiritual values.
