Abstract

The current complex regional development has encouraged intense competition between regions. To improve people's welfare, local governments need to increase the competitiveness of their regions. the measure of measuring regional economic growth is known as the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP). The purpose of the research conducted by the current author is to measure differences in the development of economic growth in the province of West Sumatra and the districts/cities of West Pasaman using the SLQ & DLQ analytical method, analysis shift shares. This study uses a quantitative descriptive approach. The data used are secondary data, namely research data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of West Sumatra Province and West Pasaman Regency/City in the form of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) data on the basis of constant prices (ADHK). ). The data used are 2018 & 2022, namely research by analyzing the data tested statistically and interpreting them in the form of descriptive sentences. Results from SLQ & DLQ analysts Based on the combined results of SLQ and DLQ analysis during the 2018 & 2022 observation period, the DLQ value> 1. This means that almost all economic sectors have the potential for faster development, and other economic sectors have a DLQ <1, which means that a commodity or sector with a score less than one is not a regional leading sector and still needs special attention for development.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) are an important part of the economy of a country or region, including Indonesia. The development of the MSME sector provides its own meaning in efforts to increase economic growth and in efforts to reduce the poverty rate in a country. The role of sharia microfinance plays an important role in business development for MSMEs. The aim is to find out whether MSME actors have run their businesses using sharia microfinancing and what role sharia microfinance plays in business development for these MSME actors. This research is field research using qualitative methods. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The interview this time consisted of several MSME actors in the Telanaipura District, Jambi City. The results of this research are MSME actors in Telanaipura District who have run their businesses by carrying out sharia micro financing and the important role of sharia micro financing in business development for these MSME actors.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana rasio saat ini, rasio cepat, dan rasio uang mempengaruhi margin laba industri dasar dan kimia yang tercantum di Indeks Keislaman Jakarta.  Dalam penelitian ini, Net Profit Margin digunakan untuk menghitung rasio profitabilitas perusahaan, dan Current, Quick, dan Cast rasio digunakan untuk menghitung rasio likuiditas. PT. Industri Dasar dan Kimia, yang terdaftar dalam Indeks Keislaman Jakarta tahun 2016–2022, adalah populasi penelitian ini. Sampel penelitian ini terdiri dari lima perusahaan dan akan berlangsung selama tujuh tahun, dimulai tahun 2016 dan berakhir tahun 2022. Pendekatan analisis kuantitatif penelitian ini menggunakan regresi data panel dan fixed effect teknik efek tetap yang berasal dari program Eviews 12. Rasio lancar, rasio cepat, dan rasio kas tidak secara signifikan mempengaruhi margin laba bersih, menurut hasil uji t, karena ambang signifikansi lebih dari 0,05. Ditentukan bahwa ada efek yang signifikan secara statistik berdasarkan temuan dari hasil uji F. Kata Kunci : Current Ratio; Quick Ratio; Net Profit Margin.

Abstract

Background: Investment refers to the act of allocating funds or capital into assets with the expectation of generating future profits. Sound investment decisions are typically grounded in meticulous financial planning and a comprehensive understanding of associated risks and potential returns. Objectives: This study aims to examine the influence of Islamic financial literacy, technology, and investment knowledge on investment decisions among the millennial generation in Jambi City. Novelty: In this study, investment decisions serve as the dependent variable, while Islamic financial literacy, technology, and investment knowledge are the independent variables. The research focuses on the millennial generation residing in Jambi City.Research Methodology / Design: This quantitative study employs a population of 151,855 millennial residents in Jambi City. A probability sampling technique was utilized to select 100 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires using a Likert scale measurement. Analytical methods included validity and reliability tests, R-squared analysis, and hypothesis testing via bootstrapping using Smart PLS 4.0 software. Findings: The findings indicate that Sharia financial literacy exerts a positive yet statistically insignificant influence on investment decisions, whereas technology and investment knowledge demonstrate a positive and statistically significant impact on investment decisions. Implication: Future studies are encouraged to incorporate additional variables to identify other factors influencing investment decisions.
