Abstract

The learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic was implemented with an online system, this made lecturers able to develop learning activities effectively using various technologies, one of which was the use of video conferences in the form of the Google Meet application. This prompted this research to explore student responses to the use of Google Meet in speaking skill learning. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach at UIN Ar-Raniry Aceh through data collection using a questionnaire, while the analytical technique used is descriptive statistics. This study shows that as many as 51% of students disagree with the use of Google Meet in learning speaking skill, and 49% of students agree with the use of Google Meet in speaking skill learning. The findings of this study indicate that learning maharah kalam using Google Meet is still not favored by students, so it becomes a challenge for lecturers to develop online learning for the better. This study recommends further research to test the effectiveness of Google Meet on student motivation or learning achievement.

Abstract

Metode Intiqaiyyah diperlukan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab. Tujuan dari tulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Campuran dalam pembelajaran di MTsS Nurul Falah. Tulisan ini menggunakan metode Quasy Eksperiment Design. Adapun pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik “The non equivalen Pre-Test Post-Test Design”, menggunakan Pre Tes dan Post Test. Alat penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pilot Study. Langkah-langkah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah, Uji Validitas, Uji Reabilitas dan Uji Daya Beda Soal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah Uji Normalitas, Uji Homogenitas, Uji Paired Simple Test dan Uji Independent Simple Test yang dilakukan melalui Program SPSS 24. Adapun hasil uji T-Test pada penelitian ini memperoleh hasil –2,068 dengan memiliki tingkat Sig. (2-tailed) (0,050< 0,000) yang sama, artinya dengan diterapkannya Metode Intiqaiyyah mempuyai pengaruh yang besar pada kemampuan siswa dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Arab.

Abstract

Assessment is a critical component of the educational process, serving as a means of evaluating student learning and ensuring the overall quality and continuity of instruction. Two major approaches commonly used in educational assessment are norm-referenced assessment (NRA) and criterion-referenced assessment (CRA). This study aims to investigate the implementation of norm-referenced assessment in the context of Arabic language instruction at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative research design, the study utilized the Miles and Huberman interactive model for data collection and analysis. The participants consisted of 12th-grade students and Arabic language teachers. The findings reveal that although teachers are generally familiar with the concept of NRA, both norm-referenced and criterion-referenced assessment approaches have not been explicitly or systematically applied in the classroom. These results suggest the need for increased awareness and training in assessment methodologies to improve instructional effectiveness and student evaluation.ied in this class.

Abstract

The existence of elements of the implementation of Minangkabau culture that became a peculiarity of the curriculum in Padang Panjang Jihad Mosque Kindergarten is interesting to be studied more deeply. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of the Minangkabau cultural curriculum related to the planning, implementation, and evaluation of learning. Qualitative research type of descriptive method. Data collection techniques on research objects are carried out through observation, interview, and observation. Data analysis starts from data reduction, presentation of data, and concluding. Assurance of data validity using data triangulation techniques. As a result of the research, curriculum planning is carried out by integrating national curriculum of 2013, PAI Curriculum, and Minangkabau cultural context. The implementation of the implementation curriculum is evident from the Daily Learning Implementation Plan (RPPH), which is integrated into the learning load. Performance, assignment (project), and observation in assessing special activities of Minangkabau culture that has become the habituation of children, especially in kato nan ampek, sumbang nan duo baleh and the art of Minangkabau tradition
