Abstract

This study investigates how the implementation of Madrasah Self-Evaluation (EDM) drives improvements in graduate quality at MTs Astoffaina, Biru-Biru Subdistrict, Deli Serdang Regency. Employing a descriptive qualitative approach, the research uncovers that EDM fosters significant gains in graduate outcomes by promoting active stakeholder involvement, ensuring data transparency, and supporting evidence-based planning. Despite persistent challenges—such as limited human resources and insufficient familiarity with EDM instruments—the process has proven instrumental in elevating educational standards. The findings highlight the transformative potential of EDM when supported by targeted training and robust institutional backing, underscoring its critical role in advancing educational quality and school accountability.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the supervision of the principal in improving teacher professionalism at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method, with data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the principal's supervision plays a crucial role in enhancing teacher professionalism. The efforts made by the principal include coaching, training, and providing motivation. The challenges faced include limited time, lack of teacher awareness, and limited facilities and infrastructure. The solutions implemented are optimizing the supervision schedule, improving communication, and striving to provide adequate facilities and infrastructure. Overall, effective principal supervision, supported by comprehensive efforts, can improve teacher professionalism at MIS Bidayatul Hidayah Rafa.

Abstract

This study examines educational planning at MAS Al-Washliyah, with a particular focus on the implementation of educational plans, parental participation, and curriculum challenges. The research aims to evaluate the implementation of educational plans, analyze the role of parents, and investigate curriculum challenges. The findings reveal that the implementation of educational plans at MAS Al-Washliyah has been successful in improving student learning outcomes through a diverse and relevant curriculum and close collaboration between the school and parents. Despite these successes, the school faces challenges in adapting the curriculum to the rapid pace of developments in science and technology. Recommendations for further research include embracing criticism and feedback for continuous improvement. The research employed a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as interviews, observations, and document analysis. Data analysis was conducted using triangulation techniques.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the curriculum change management from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum at the Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hikmah, Beringin District, Deli Serdang. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The results showed that the curriculum change management process at the Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hikmah includes planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The conclusion of this research is that the curriculum change management from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum at the Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Hikmah, Beringin District, Deli Serdang has been implemented well.

Abstract

This research aims to explore: First, explore the organizational culture that occurs at MIN 1 Medan. Second, explore the characteristics of organizational culture that occur at MIN 1 Medan. Third, explore the development of the organizational climate that occurred at MIN 1 Medan. This research method is a qualitative type with a descriptive approach. The instruments used in this research were observation, interviews and documentation studies. The location of this research is MIN 1 Medan, North Sumatra. This research data analysis uses three steps, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of the research show that: First, the organizational culture that occurs at MIN 1 Medan is the teaching and learning process, both teachers and students understand how it works, namely by helping each other, the leadership, namely the principal, teachers and staff work together in building the MIN School. 1 Medan will be even better in the future and the school management is relatively good between the Principal, Teachers, Staff and Students of MIN 1 Medan as well as the school culture. Second, the characteristics of organizational culture that occur at MIN 1 Medan, namely 1. Norms; Organizational culture in schools is also characterized by the existence of norms that contain standards of behavior for school members, both for students and teachers. 2. Philosophy; namely, the existence of policies relating to the organization's beliefs in treating school members. Organizational culture is characterized by the belief of all members of the organization in seeing things in an essential way. 3. Rules; namely the existence of strict guidelines, linked to the progress of the organization. Third, the development of the organizational climate that occurs at MIN 1 Medan, namely a) First, the implementation of the main character and mission of education as well as the promotion of basic moral values ​​in students. b) Second, the involvement and commitment of the school community (teachers, students and parents) in their work. c) Third, preventing violence and conflict in schools. d) Fourth, prohibition of verbal and psychological violence. e) Fifth, the principal and teachers treat students fairly, equally and with respect.
