Abstract

Bakpau, derived from the word Baozi. The word Bao means “wrap”, Zi which refers to the word round. Baozi literally means “round wrapper”. It is a soft and delicious food, invented by an important Chinese figure named Zhuge Liang in 220-280 AD, and popularized during the Tang dynasty (618-907 AD) in China. Bakpao is one of China's favorite foods, served as a snack, breakfast, or even a main meal on some occasions. The common filling for buns is pork, however, in Indonesia where the majority of Muslims do not consume pork, the filling of buns has become more varied, such as chicken, beef, chocolate, green beans, and various fruits. Bakpao raw materials such as flour, yeast, sugar, salt, eggs, margarine, and others are a problem; if one of these ingredients is not fulfilled, Bakpao production can be hampered. Therefore, it is important to know what factors can hinder production.

Abstract

Literasi digital merupakan salah satu keterampilan yang harus dikuasai di tengah perkembangan teknologi dan informasi digital. Keterampilan ini akan menghindarkan masyarakat dari terpapar hoaks, misinformasi, polarisasi, kebocoran data pribadi dan dampak negatif yang lain. Selain itu, keterampilan ini juga diharapkan mendorong pemanfaatan teknologi digital guna mendapatkan manfaat dari segi pengetahuan maupun ekonomis. Pada tulisan ini akan dipaparkan hasil kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat yang telah dilakukan terkait pelatihan literasi digital bagi guru Sekolah Dasar di kota Surakarta.

Abstract

To become a leader, a person must study and train themselves to have the character, abilities or qualities that a leader should have. Students in general are also administrators of intra-school organizations (OSIS) who are one of the seeds of future leaders and have an obligation to drive behavioral changes in their respective schools so that they become better. As a form of concern in building a leadership model that has integrity, Akbara Surakarta Polytechnic conducts leadership training and coaching for OSIS administrators and students at SMK Empat Lima. The methods used in this training are lecture activities, question and answer sessions, case study discussions, by explaining the basic concepts of visionary leadership, participatory leadership styles, leadership in organizational change and how to make decisions correctly, prepare accountability reports for activities. After this training, it is hoped that OSIS administrators and students will have and demonstrate leadership behavior skills that are ready to face challenges and can inspire students in their respective school and community environments.

Abstract

Perkembangan pesat teknologi digital telah mendorong transformasi dalam berbagai aspek kehidupan, termasuk di dunia ketenagakerjaan. Salah satu keterampilan penting yang perlu dimiliki oleh pencari kerja di era digital adalah komunikasi berbasis platform digital. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses dan hasil pelatihan komunikasi digital yang dirancang untuk meningkatkan keterampilan praktis para pencari kerja di Kecamatan Kartasura. Kegiatan pelatihan dilakukan secara tatap muka dengan pendekatan partisipatif yang menggabungkan penyampaian materi konseptual dan sesi praktik langsung menggunakan platform LinkedIn dan Instagram. Peserta pelatihan terdiri dari 42 individu, mayoritas lulusan SMA/SMK dan mahasiswa tingkat akhir, yang memiliki ketertarikan untuk meningkatkan daya saing di pasar kerja. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa pelatihan ini secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman peserta mengenai komunikasi profesional di ranah digital serta kemampuan mereka dalam menyusun profil dan konten yang relevan dengan kebutuhan industri saat ini. Pelatihan ini juga membuka ruang kolaboratif antar peserta dan pemateri melalui media komunikasi lanjutan seperti grup WhatsApp, yang menjadi wadah berbagi informasi lowongan kerja dan pembelajaran berkelanjutan. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya integrasi pelatihan komunikasi digital dalam program pengembangan tenaga kerja, khususnya di wilayah urban penyangga seperti Kartasura, untuk menjawab tantangan transformasi digital dalam dunia kerja.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought about significant changes in various aspects of life, including the world of work. One skill that is now highly sought after by job seekers is digital platform-based communication skills. This skill is crucial for building a professional image, expanding networks, and increasing employment opportunities. In response to this need, a digital communication training program was held in Kartasura District with the aim of improving the practical skills of job seekers, particularly high school/vocational school graduates and final-year college students. The training was conducted face-to-face using a participatory approach, combining conceptual material delivery with hands-on practice sessions. The training focused on utilizing professional platforms such as LinkedIn and social media platforms like Instagram, which have become essential tools in the job search and personal branding process. A total of 42 participants attended the training, with diverse educational backgrounds and interests but a common desire to be more competitive in the digital job market. The training results showed a significant increase in participants' understanding of professional communication in the digital realm. Participants also gained practical skills in creating attractive LinkedIn profiles, creating content relevant to industry needs, and managing their online self-image. Furthermore, this training created a collaborative space between participants and presenters through a WhatsApp group, which later developed into a platform for sharing information about job openings, career tips, and ongoing discussions. The findings from this training underscore the importance of integrating digital communication training into workforce development programs, particularly in buffer urban areas like Kartasura. This effort serves as an adaptive strategy to address the challenges of digital transformation while empowering the younger generation to be better prepared for job competition in the digital era.
