Abstract

The research objective to find out about (a) how the transformational leadership style at PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Cilaki-Bandung, (b) how the performance of employees at PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Cilaki-Bandung, (c) how much the influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance at PT.Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Cilaki-Bandung. This research used the quantitative and descriptive analysis method. The object of this research is PT. Pos Indonesia (Persero) in Cilaki-Bandung. The data source was a questionnaire by given to 98 respondents. Validity and reliability tests used in this study. The analysis used in this research is descriptive analysis, classic assumption test, simple linear regression. The results show the respondents to the transformational leadership style into good category to 80.71%, the respondents to the performance into very good category to 83.88%. The influence of transformational leadership style on employee performance amounted to 33.2% of the test results on the coefficient determination and t test showed that transformational leadership significantly influence employee performance.

Abstract

Culinary UMKM also has a strategic role in strengthening the identity of the Indonesian nation. The elements of creativity in the culinary subsector are presented in terms of presentation, aesthetics, and local culture that encourages the taste so that it attracts public interest in buying.Product innovation is a step for entrepreneurs to be able to continue in the opportunity to maintain by applying the strategy of innovation in pandemic times such as this makes UMKM entrepreneur must innovate towards its product because innovation can give plus value to the product itself so that it can attract the attention of the consumers. UMKM enterprises can more freely promote social media than to take advantage of momentum, promotional measures in social media are also cheaper and more targeted. Social media can direct entrepreneurs to target markets that are appropriate according to age, and location, adapted to the products sold. This research is a type of survey using a questionnaire to the perpetrators of UMKM Kuliber cafe in Pontianak with several respondents of as many as 60 people under purposive sampling. The analytical method used was WarpPLS 6.0 in the SEM-PLS model testing. The results of this research showed that product innovation has a significant influence in terms of competitive advantage, and social media has a significant impact on competitive advantages

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur hubungan antara workplace incivility (ketidakacuhan dalam hubungan kerja) dan job stress (stres kerja) di lingkungan pendidikan tinggi di Kota Pontianak. Tingginya beban kerja yang ada sering kali memunculkan perilaku workplace incivility, terutama dalam konteks kerja tim. Hal ini juga berlaku di lingkungan perguruan tinggi, di mana komunikasi dan kerja sama dalam tim sering terjadi. Selain itu, peran moderasi emotional intelligence (EI) juga akan diteliti untuk memahami sejauh mana EI dapat mengurangi dampak negatif ketidaksopanan dalam hubungan kerja terhadap stres kerja. Metode pengolahan dan analisis data yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan dalam pengambilan sampel. Jumlah minimum responden yang ditetapkan adalah 100 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya pengaruh positif dan signifikan antara workplace incivility dalam hubungan kerja dan job stress. Semakin tinggi tingkat ketidaksopanan yang dirasakan, semakin tinggi tingkat stres kerja yang dialami individu. Namun, kecerdasan emosional tidak memoderasi hubungan antara ketidaksopanan dalam hubungan kerja dan stres kerja. Meskipun kecerdasan emosional memiliki peran penting dalam mengelola emosi, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hal tersebut tidak memperkuat atau melemahkan hubungan antara ketidaksopanan dalam hubungan kerja dan stres kerja di kalangan karyawan pendidikan tinggi di Kota Pontianak.

Abstract

The phenomenon of job stress and workplace incivility has become increasingly prominent in modern organizational settings, significantly affecting employee well-being and organizational outcomes. Understanding these dynamics is particularly crucial for Generation Z, who are now entering the workforce in large numbers. This study aims to analyze the impact of job stress and workplace incivility on turnover intention among employed Generation Z individuals in Indonesia. Data were collected from 280 Gen Z respondents and analyzed using the Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method. The results indicate that both job stress and workplace incivility have a notable and positive impact on turnover intention. Specifically, higher levels of job stress and workplace incivility lead to an increased intention among Gen Z employees to leave their jobs. These findings underscore the importance for companies to address stress and incivility in the workplace to reduce turnover rates among Gen Z employees, thereby enhancing organizational stability and performance.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors influencing sustainable fashion behavior among Indonesian Gen Z, focusing on the roles of environmental knowledge (EK), environmental concern (EC), and attitude toward sustainabe fashion (ATT). The popularity of thrifting among Gen Z has risen, particularly in Indonesia. Thrifting offers a unique shopping experience that evokes various feelings, seen as a cost-effective solution by purchasing second-hand items that are still in good condition. Given the gap in global literature, the author selects Gen Z as the research context and subject of study. Through a comprehensive examination of sustainable fashion, this research aims to clarify the relationship between knowledge, concern, and attitude between Gen Z toward sustainable fashion. This study integrates quantitative methods, where a questionnaire survey will be distribute to respondents to gain deeper understandi ng of these issues. The results of this study indicate that both knowledge and concern jointly influence Gen Z's attitude towards sustainable fashion. Additionally, further path analysis shows that environmental concern fully mediates the relationship between knowledge and attitude. The results of data analysis reveal that environmental knowledge influences attitude toward sustainable fashion (R2=3.72) and environmental knowledge influences environmental concern (R2=0.319).The study confirms that environmental knowledge and attitudes play crucial roles in shaping sustainable fashion behaviors among Indonesian Gen Z. Enhancing environmental education and promoting sustainable fashion practices can positively influence purchase intentions and behaviors. These findings have important implications for policy makers, educators, and the fashion industry, highlighting the need for integrated efforts to foster sustainable consumption patterns.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to see whether there is a significant influence between the variables of learning organization, communication skills, and compensation on performance through motivational variable as intervening variable which conducted at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga, Tbk. This study uses quantitative research methods with data collection through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews (discussions) to employee as a respondent at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Agroniaga, Tbk. The results showed that learning organization, communication skills, and compensation had a significant positive effect on employees' work motivation. Furthermore, learning organization had a significant positive effect on employee performance, while communication skills and compensation had no significant effect on employee performance. The results of the Sobel Test showed that the motivation variable did not succeed in mediating the learning organization, communication skill, and compensation variables. Keywords: learning organization, communication skill, compensation, motivation, performance.

Abstract

Incivility in the workplace is not a new phenomenon, particularly in higher education settings, where complex transformations occur due to generational differences in the workforce. This study aims to measure the impact of workplace incivility on work engagement and cynicism, as well as its effects on the job performance of university lecturers in Pontianak. This research adopts an explanatory design to elucidate the causal relationships between variables using quantitative methods. Primary data were obtained by distributing questionnaires to respondents selected through purposive sampling. The study involved 122 lecturers representing various age groups from Baby Boomers, Generation X, Millennials (Generation Y), to Generation Z, to elucidate the responses of each generation to the phenomenon of workplace incivility. The collected data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that work engagement partially mediates the relationship between workplace incivility and job performance, with a significance value of 0.005. Meanwhile, cynicism fully mediates the relationship between workplace incivility and job performance, with a significance value of 0.748.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang memengaruhi perilaku fashion berkelanjutan di kalangan Gen Z Indonesia, dengan fokus pada peran pengetahuan lingkungan (EK), sikap lingkungan (EA), niat pembelian fashion berkelanjutan (SFPI), dan perilaku fashion berkelanjutan (SFB). Pertumbuhan pesat fast fashion telah menimbulkan tantangan lingkungan dan sosial yang signifikan, termasuk peningkatan limbah dan praktik produksi yang tidak berkelanjutan. Oleh karena itu, pemahaman terkait faktor pendorong perilaku fashion berkelanjutan menjadi sangat penting untuk mendorong pola konsumsi yang lebih ramah lingkungan di kalangan generasi muda. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan metode campuran (mixed-method) dengan menggabungkan data kuantitatif dan wawasan kualitatif dari diskusi kelompok terarah (FGD). Hasil penelitian kuantitatif menunjukkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap lingkungan secara kolektif memengaruhi niat pembelian fashion berkelanjutan (R² = 0,514) dan perilaku fashion berkelanjutan (R² = 0,501). Temuan kualitatif dari FGD menunjukkan bahwa partisipan memahami perbedaan antara fast fashion dan fashion berkelanjutan, dengan preferensi pada fashion berkelanjutan karena durabilitas dan manfaat lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menegaskan pentingnya pengetahuan dan sikap lingkungan dalam membentuk perilaku fashion berkelanjutan. Peningkatan edukasi lingkungan dan promosi praktik fashion berkelanjutan dapat memengaruhi niat dan perilaku pembelian. Temuan ini memiliki implikasi penting bagi pembuat kebijakan, pendidik, dan industri fashion dalam mendorong pola konsumsi berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Child marriage continues to be a significant issue in various Indonesian villages, including Lingkonong Village in Landak Regency. This issue has threatened children's education and health while obstructing the realization of their rights as the future generation of the nation. The Village Family Empowerment and Welfare Movement Team (TP-PKK) serves as an innovator by employing a community empowerment approach to address this issue. This community service initiative aims to enhance public legal awareness regarding the dangers of child marriage, while simultaneously equipping TP-PKK members with skills in utilizing digital media as a tool for prevention campaigns, particularly within the framework of the CEPAK (Child Marriage Prevention) Movement program. The Participatory Action Research (PAR) method is utilized, engaging TP-PKK members and residents in the design, implementation, and evaluation of educational programs. The primary activities encompass legal counseling, training in the utilization of digital platforms, the development of context-specific educational materials, and the dissemination of information via online media. The capacity of TP-PKK Lingkonong Village to manage digital campaigns promoting the CEPAK Movement has significantly increased. Their role as agents of change was effectively reinforced through the initiation of the campaign entitled "Lingkonong Village Towards a Generation Free of Child Marriage." This collaboration enables the community to comprehend the adverse effects of early marriage while also engaging in preventive initiatives. Digital media serves as an effective strategy for enhancing outreach, promoting collective awareness, and establishing a community environment that is more attuned to the safeguarding of children's rights
