Padang Panjang City faces various environmental challenges involving waste management, clean water distribution, and decreasing the quality of green open space (RTH). This article aims to identify these main problems and propose optimal environmental management strategies. The increase in waste volume due to population growth requires an integrated recycling and management approach, while the unequal distribution of clean water requires infrastructure improvements and education regarding domestic and industrial waste management. On the other hand, the decline in green open space use threatens the balance of urban ecosystems, requiring regulatory enforcement initiatives and community participation to maintain its sustainability. Based on literature analysis and interviews with related agencies, this article offers practical strategies to overcome these three issues through a collaborative approach between government, society and the private sector. It is hoped that consistent implementation of this strategy will be able to improve the quality of the environment in Padang Panjang City and improve the welfare of its people.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun sebuah aplikasi pemesanan kamar hotel berbasis web, guna mempermudah pihak pengelola hotel dalam mendata tamu yang akan melakukan pemesanan kamar tanpa harus datang ke hotel XXX untuk memesan kamar yang diinginkan dan pihak hotel tidak perlu membuka tutup lembaran buku-buku tebal guna mencari data tamu yang menginap dan yang akan check out. Perancangan aplikasi ini menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP,CSS,HTML dan Software Windows 7 32 bit, Visual Studio Code versi 1.69.1, Xampp Server versi 3.2.2, PHP versi 7.3.2, Bootstrap versi 5.0, Google Chrome, 000webhost. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa 74,4% aplikasi ini dapat berjalan dan mempermudah pihak pengelola hotel XXX.

Learning activities in the Study Group (KB) are fun and do not burden children, so teachers are required to develop learning media. The problems faced by partners are that partners do not yet have learning media to get to know marine animals and the need for training in the use of learning media for partners. Based on an analysis of the situation and conditions faced by partners, the solution offered is to create and train for the use of learning media to get to know marine animals using an RFID card. This community service activity was carried out by a team from STT Ronggolawe Cepu in collaboration with a team of servants from STIE Pelita Nusantara Cepu. The conclusion of this activity is the creation of learning media to get to know marine animals using an RFID card and partners get learning media to get to know marine animals so that teachers can more easily introduce marine animals to students. Partners also gain knowledge and can apply technology through learning media about marine animals that have been created.

Sentiment analysis on social media, especially Twitter, is an effective method to understand public opinion towards political events such as the inauguration of President Prabowo. This study aims to identify the sentiment of the Indonesian people regarding the inauguration of President Prabowo through machine learning-based sentiment analysis using the Multinomial Naïve Bayes algorithm. Data was collected from Twitter with relevant keywords and hashtags, covering the time span before and after the inauguration to capture the dynamics of sentiment changes. The preprocessing process was carried out through text cleaning, removing stop words, tokenization, and stemming to improve model accuracy. The classification results show the distribution of public sentiment, with the majority being neutral (52.63%), followed by positive sentiment (42.98%), and negative (4.39%). The model achieved an accuracy of 75%, showing quite good performance for short text classification. The contribution of this study lies in the application of sentiment analysis to the specific event of the inauguration of the President of Indonesia, with a focus on the critical period before and after the inauguration, which has not been widely studied before. The novelty of this study is the use of real-time Twitter data related to current political events (inauguration of President Prabowo), as well as the emphasis on neutral sentiment which provides a deeper dimension to public understanding. It is hoped that these findings can be the basis for designing more effective public communication strategies on social media.Keywords: naïve bayes, prabowo presidential inauguration, twitter, sentiment analysis

Evaluasi pasca kegiatan dalam event kemahasiswaan seringkali menjadi momen krusial yang dapat memicu ketegangan, seperti yang terjadi dalam penyelenggaraan cabang olahraga badminton pada Dekan Cup FIS UNP 2024. Artikel ini mengkaji konflik yang muncul antara koordinator cabang olahraga badminton dengan panitia penyelenggara saat rapat evaluasi akhir kegiatan. Perselisihan bermula dari ketidaksetujuan terhadap evaluasi dari sikap pertanggung jawaban panitia lainnya terhadap pekerjaan yang sudah menjadi tupoksi nya sendiri. Melalui pendekatan studi kasus dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi langsung dan wawancara mendalam, penelitian ini mengungkap bahwa minimnya koordinasi awal, perbedaan pendapat mekanisme acara, serta ketidakjelasan alur komunikasi menjadi akar permasalahan. Ketegangan dalam forum evaluasi semakin meningkat ketika pembahasan mengenai sikap dan sifat yang tidak bertanggung jawab dalam menjalankan tugasnya dan dianggap lalai oleh beberapa pihak. Proses mediasi yang dimotori oleh Penanggung Jawab acara ini menghasilkan sejumlah rekomendasi perbaikan, termasuk penyusunan SOP yang lebih detail untuk penyelenggaraan event serupa di masa mendatang. Kasus ini memberikan pembelajaran penting tentang urgensi perencanaan yang matang, transparansi pengelolaan kegiatan, dan pentingnya membangun komunikasi yang efektif dalam organisasi kemahasiswaan.

Citra digital memiliki peran penting dalam penyampaian informasi visual, namun kualitasnya sering menurun akibat gangguan berupa noise. Penelitian ini membahas tiga jenis noise utama, yaitu salt and pepper, gaussian, dan speckle, yang direduksi menggunakan tiga metode filter, yaitu median, gaussian, dan bilateral. Pengujian dilakukan dengan menerapkan setiap filter terhadap citra uji yang terkontaminasi berbagai jenis noise untuk mengevaluasi performa berdasarkan nilai Mean Squared Error (MSE) dan Peak Signal-to-Noise Ratio (PSNR). Hasil menunjukkan bahwa filter median secara konsisten memberikan performa terbaik pada ketiga jenis noise, dengan nilai MSE terendah sebesar 7,007 dan PSNR tertinggi 39,675 dB pada noise salt and pepper, MSE 72,046 dan PSNR 29,554 dB pada noise gaussian, serta MSE 60,917 dan PSNR 30,283 dB pada noise speckle. Sementara itu, filter gaussian dan bilateral menghasilkan nilai yang relatif dekat, namun tidak melampaui performa filter median. Kombinasi beberapa filter juga tidak selalu meningkatkan kualitas citra secara signifikan. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa filter median merupakan metode reduksi noise paling efektif secara umum dalam mempertahankan kualitas citra digital terhadap berbagai jenis noise.
