Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan membaca setelah menerapan model Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composation dengan bantuan media komik pada peserta didik  kelas IV SD 1 Langgikima. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 1 Langgikima, yang berjumlah 25 peserta didik. Peningkatan hasil kemampuan membaca peserta didik pada siklus I dari 25 peserta didik hanya 18 orang peserta didik yang tuntas dengan persentase keberhasilan sebesar 72% sedangkan pada siklus II dari 25 peserta didik hanya 23 orang peserta didik yang tuntas dengan persentase keberhasilan sebesar 92%.Kata kunci: kemampuan membaca, peserta didik

Abstract

Rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa dengan Menerapkan Metode Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching di Kelas V SD Negeri Watu-Watu Kabupaten Bombana? Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana meningkatkan Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa dengan menerapkan Metode Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching di Kelas V SD Negeri Watu-Watu Kabupaten Bombana. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh: (1) siswa banyak bermain ketika proses belajar mengajar sedang berlangsung, (2) minat dan hasil belajar siswa rendah, (3) guru belum menerapkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menumbuhkan minat siswa untuk belajar, (4) kurangnya kreasi guru di dalam pembelajaran, (5) belum terlibatnya siswa di saat proses pembelajaran. Penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) kolaborasi yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus mencakup tahap perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, evaluasi, dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Watu-Watu Kabupaten Bomana berjumlah 23 orang, 12 siswa perempuan dan 11 siswa laki-laki. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) rata-rata hasil belajar siswa siklus I adalah 76.40 meningkat menjadi 82.61 pada siklus II. Persentase ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 60.87% (14 Siswa Tuntas dan 9 Siswa Belum Tuntas) meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 86.96% (20 Siswa Tuntas dan 3 Siswa Belum Tuntas). (2) Persentase keberhasilan aktivitas mengajar guru Siklus I pertemuan pertama adalah 81.58% meningkat menjadi 88.16% pada pertemuan kedua. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 90.79%, meningkat menjadi 97.37% pada pertemuan kedua. (3) Persentase keberhasilan aktivitas belajar siswa Siklus I pertemuan pertama adalah 76.32% meningkat menjadi 85.53% pada pertemuan kedua. Pada siklus II pertemuan pertama sebesar 92.11%, meningkat menjadi 96.05% pada pertemuan kedua. Hasil Belajar IPA Siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Watu-Watu Kabupaten Bombana dapat ditingkatkan dengan menerapkan Metode Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching. Kata Kunci:   Hasil Belajar IPA, Metode Pembelajaran Quantum Teaching

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas tes dengan menggunakan model Rasch pada soal tes buatan guru di sekolah dasar. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas tes tersebut dapat memudahkan guru untuk melakukan uji validitas dan reliabilitas tes dengan model Rasch sehingga dapat meningkatkan kualitas tes yang di buat dan dapat mengukur kemampuan siswa dengan baik, sehingga memudahkan guru untuk mengetahui kemampuan siswanya. Penelitian ini termasuk kedalam jenis penetian gabungan antara jenis kuantitatif dan jenis pengembangan. Produk yang dikembangkan adalah produk yang telah dibuat oleh guru yaitu sebuah tes pilihan ganda mata pelajaran matematika. Subjek uji dalam uji coba penelitian ini adalah tes buatan guru dan siswa kelas IV, V dan VI di SD Negeri 5 Wiwirano serta siswa SD Negeri 6 Wiwirano yang total ada 100 siswa, terdapat 50 siswa di SD Negeri 5 Wiwirano dan 50 siswa dari SD Negeri 6 Wiwirano. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan uji coba tes. Uji coba tes ini digunakan untuk mendapatkan nilai sehingga dapat ditentukan kualitas sebuah soal. Data dianalisis dengan melakukan uji asumsi, analisis butir, analisis reliabilitas dan analisis bias soal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dari 20 soal semua dikategorikan valid, dan tidak ada menunjukkan soal yang bias. Uji validitas dan reliabilitas dibutuhkan dalam proses evaluasi yaitu pada sebuah tes yang menjadi alat evaluasi. Model rasch dapat dijadikan patokan dalam melakukan analisis butir dengan menggunakan aplikasi winstep.Kata Kunci : Model Rasch, Winstep, desain DDD-E, Validitas, Reliabilitas

Abstract

This classroom action research aims to improve the learning outcomes of Indonesian language of grade III students of SDN 1 Kolono through the application of the Poster Comment method. The implementation of the action was carried out in two cycles. In cycle I, the learning outcomes showed that 62.50% or 15 out of 24 students achieved a score of ≥ 70, with an average score of 64. This result has not met the established success indicator, which is a minimum of 80% of students completing the learning. Therefore, improvements were made in cycle II. The results in cycle II showed a significant increase, with 83.33% or 20 students completing and the average score increasing to 74.70, so that the success indicator was achieved. In addition, the results of observations of teacher and student activities in cycle I showed many aspects of learning that had not been optimally implemented. After reflection and improvements, observations in cycle II showed that all aspects of learning had been implemented well, with a level of implementation reaching 95%, so that the indicators of success of learning activities were also met. Thus, the Poster Comment method has proven effective in improving learning outcomes and Indonesian language learning activities in grade III students

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum requires teachers to have skills in compiling questions that not only measure students' understanding, but also critical and creative thinking skills. This workshop aims to improve the competence of elementary school teachers in compiling questions based on the Independent Curriculum that are in accordance with the principles of formative and summative assessment. This activity is carried out through direct training involving the delivery of materials, practice of compiling questions, and joint discussion and reflection. The evaluation results show that after attending the workshop, teachers experienced an increase in understanding good question structures, were able to differentiate cognitive levels in compiling questions, and were more confident in compiling assessment instruments. This workshop is expected to be the first step in improving the quality of learning evaluation in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the effect of smartphone use on students’ learning achievement, particularly among sixth-grade students at Elementary School 6 Kendari. This research employed a quantitative approach. The population consisted of all sixth-grade students totaling 245, and a systematic random sampling technique was used to select 50% or 61 students as the research sample. Data were collected through questionnaires, direct observation, and documentation of student report scores. The data were analyzed using a simple linear regression statistical formula. The results showed that the correlation value (R) was 0.437, and the coefficient of determination (R²) was 0.191, indicating that the independent variable influenced the dependent variable by 19.1%, while the remaining 80.9% was influenced by other factors. The t-test results revealed that the calculated t-value was 3.733 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that H₀ was rejected and Hₐ accepted. Therefore, there is a significant effect of smartphone use on student learning achievement. It can be concluded that when smartphone use decreases by one unit, student learning achievement increases by 0.158.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students’ learning outcomes in science subjects using the Course Review Horay method in Grade V of Elementary School 04 Mowila. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects in this study were 20 fifth-grade students. The improvement in students’ learning outcomes was observed through two cycles. In the first cycle, there were 8 students who did not reach the mastery level with a success rate of 40%, and 12 students achieved mastery with a percentage of 60%. In the second cycle, only 2 students did not reach the mastery level (10%), while 18 students achieved mastery, reaching a 90% success rate. These results indicate that the use of the Course Review Horay method can effectively improve students’ learning outcomes in science learning

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement of reading skills after applying the Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) model assisted by comic media for fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Langgikima. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The subjects of this study were 25 fourth-grade students of SD Negeri 1 Langgikima. The results showed an improvement in students’ reading skills, where in the first cycle, 18 out of 25 students achieved mastery with a success rate of 72%, while in the second cycle, 23 out of 25 students achieved mastery with a success rate of 92%. These findings indicate that the application of the CIRC model with the help of comic media can effectively improve students’ reading skills.

Abstract

The research problem in this study is: How can science learning outcomes be improved by applying the Quantum Teaching learning method in fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Watu-Watu, Bombana Regency? The purpose of this research is to determine how to improve science learning outcomes by applying the Quantum Teaching method in fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Watu-Watu, Bombana Regency. The background of this study includes: (1) students tend to play during the learning process, (2) low interest and learning outcomes, (3) teachers have not applied learning models that can foster students’ interest in learning, (4) lack of teacher creativity in teaching, and (5) limited student involvement during lessons.This research is a collaborative Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, consisting of planning, implementation, observation, evaluation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 23 fifth-grade students of SD Negeri Watu-Watu, consisting of 12 female and 11 male students. The results showed that: (1) the average student learning outcome in the first cycle was 76.40, increasing to 82.61 in the second cycle. The percentage of students achieving mastery learning increased from 60.87% (14 students) in the first cycle to 86.96% (20 students) in the second cycle. (2) Teacher activity improved from 81.58% in the first meeting of cycle I to 88.16% in the second meeting, and from 90.79% to 97.37% in cycle II. (3) Student learning activity improved from 76.32% in the first meeting of cycle I to 85.53% in the second meeting, and from 92.11% to 96.05% in cycle II. These findings indicate that the application of the Quantum Teaching method effectively improves science learning outcomes among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri Watu-Watu, Bombana Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the validity and reliability of test items using the Rasch model on teacher-made test questions in elementary schools. The use of the Rasch model for validity and reliability testing helps teachers to evaluate and improve the quality of their tests so that they can more accurately measure students’ abilities and better understand their learning progress. This research combines quantitative and development approaches, focusing on analyzing a teacher-developed multiple-choice test in the subject of mathematics. The test subjects in this study were the teacher-made test items and students from grades IV, V, and VI at SD Negeri 5 Wiwirano and SD Negeri 6 Wiwirano, with a total of 100 students (50 students from each school). Data collection was conducted through a test trial, which provided scores used to determine the quality of the test items. The data were analyzed through assumption testing, item analysis, reliability analysis, and bias detection using the Rasch model. The results of the study showed that all 20 test items were categorized as valid, and there were no biased items detected. This indicates that the Rasch model is effective for assessing the quality of test items. Therefore, validity and reliability testing are essential components of the evaluation process, and the Rasch model with the Winstep application can serve as a reliable tool for item analysis and improving test quality.
