Community service is carried out for boarding school students at SMA Unggul Aceh Timur to have independence as the key to success in economic independence. The purpose of community service that will be carried out the form of several things given to partners such as the target of community service to be able to be independent in conducting micro-businesses related to telang drinks; partners will be introduced to insights related to procedures and information regarding processing and marketing telang drinks both offline and digital; telang drink products will be used by partners to be used for entrepreneurship as an additional little economy utilizing telang which is easy to cultivate in the partner's environment into ready-to-sell products and promising economy; the products produced are products that can be used for partners to be able to compete competitively regarding micro-scale packaged telang drinks. The uses a participatory action research approach. The stages begin with preparation, then continue with the implementation of community service, and continue with evaluation and material is presented in the form of lectures, demonstrations/practices and questions and answers/discussions. The results of the training evaluation were successful in encouraging telang drink entrepreneurship for boarding school students.

This study examines how Indonesian English as Foreign Language (EFL) teachers perceive and negotiate pedagogical change arising from the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) into language instruction. This research uses an interpretive qualitative approach through semi-structured interviews with seven teachers from diverse institutional backgrounds in Sumatera. Thematic analysis identified six key themes: (1) pedagogical change through AI integration, (2) evolving teacher identity, (3) reflective professional agency, (4) contextual constraints, (5) students' engagement and critical awareness, and (6) the need for instructional support and teacher training. Findings indicate that AI tools, such as ChatGPT and Grammarly, have facilitated a shift toward more student-centered, project-based, and reflective teaching practices. Teachers reported a redefinition of their roles from content transmitters to facilitators and mentors, with an increasing emphasis on assessing learning processes rather than outcomes. However, AI integration was hindered by infrastructural limitations, unequal access to technology, and a lack of AI literacy. The study reveals that technological transformation in ELT is not merely technical but also shaped by contextual realities and teacher identity. It highlights the need for context-sensitive professional development and inclusive policy support that enhance teachers' adaptive capacities in an AI-mediated learning environment.

The advent of AI-powered machine translation technology, particularly text-capture tools such as Google Lens, necessitates that younger generations develop competency in utilizing these applications. This study explores the integration of such technology into translation pedagogy through a digital project-based learning (PjBL) model, designed to enhance translation skills within an interactive educational framework. Translation performance was evaluated using a rubric assessing three key criteria: accuracy, acceptability, and readability. The research objectives were twofold: (1) to evaluate the quality of slang translation produced by students using Google Lens, and (2) to assess students’ understanding and application of this AI tool within a PjBL framework. A mixed-methods approach was employed, following a define-design-develop-disseminate (4D) model. Data were collected through validated tests administered to 75 English education students, organized into five groups. The findings indicate that the overall translation quality of slang terms was poor, with six out of ten target words receiving low scores. A moderate quality level was achieved for two words, and good quality for another two. Conversely, students demonstrated a strong operational understanding of the AI application, reporting familiarity and proficiency in its use for text capture and translation. This discrepancy highlights a gap between technical tool mastery and the critical application required for producing contextually appropriate translations, particularly of informal language like slang.
