Abstract

Websites are an effective medium of promotion. With a website, businesses have the opportunity to reach consumers on a much wider scale compared to traditional promotional methods. In addition, the cost of developing and managing a website also tends to be more efficient than print advertising or other physical promotional media. To maximize this potential, site developers must ensure that user experience is a top priority. A website of poor quality can damage their perception of the professionalism and credibility of the business. Therefore, thorough testing is required to ensure user comfort in using the website. Testing will be carried out on the Botanica Beauty site which has various functional features that interact directly with users. In this research, testing was carried out on the “Create Product” feature with a focus on testing the upper limit value and lower limit value of the input process. The results of the tests conducted showed a success rate of 65%. Based on this percentage, it can be concluded that the Botanica Beauty Salon website is quite satisfactory. However, improvements are still needed to achieve a higher level of reliability.

Abstract

Graphic design is very important for helping the branding of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in today's competitive digital world. This study aims to look at how creativity and innovation in graphic design affect the success of MSMEs branding. Using a quantitative method, data was gathered through a survey with a Likert-scale-based questionnaire from 25 MSMEs owners in the food, fashion, and craft industries in the Greater Jakarta area (Jabodetabek). The analysis methods used are descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression to assess the link between creativity and innovation in graphic design and branding success. The findings show that graphic design aspects like logos, packaging, and creative promotional visuals can boost product attractiveness (84%), build a solid brand image (86%), and encourage customer loyalty (82%). Participants also mentioned that graphic design plays a key role in increasing the competitiveness of MSMEs in the market (86%). However, limited access to technology and design software (74%) is a significant obstacle that must be tackled. This research shows that graphic design is not just about looks but is also a strategic tool in branding that can strengthen brand identity and help with product marketing. To make better use of graphic design, suggested actions include enhancing access to technology, educating MSMEs owners on branding and graphic design, and working with professional designers. This study gives useful suggestions for MSMEs to implement more creative and innovative branding strategies to boost their competitiveness in a constantly changing market.

Abstract

The acceleration of information technology advancement necessitates digital system adoption among SMEs to maintain market competitiveness. Toko Susu Bahagia faced operational inefficiencies in inventory management and transaction documentation through manual processes. This research developed a customized e-commerce solution implementing the Waterfall methodology, progressing systematically through requirement analysis, design, implementation, and verification phases. The system architecture utilized PHP (Laravel) framework with MySQL database integration, incorporating essential functionalities: inventory control, order status monitoring, product expiration notifications, and sales analytics. Verification through Black Box Testing yielded a 98% functionality success rate, validating system dependability. Technical obstacles encountered during development included insufficient data validation protocols and limited digital proficiency among users, which were addressed through simplified interface design and enhanced validation mechanisms. The research establishes the practical effectiveness of user-oriented system architecture for small retail enterprises. Operational performance improved through error reduction in manual processes, instantaneous inventory visibility, and expanded market access. The implementation indicates sustained advantages for business growth capacity and technological preparedness. Subsequent research directions may investigate payment gateway integration, language localization capabilities, and responsive design optimization to enhance system versatility.
