Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya tingkat literasi di kalangan pelajar Indonesia, yang tercermin dari data Badan Pusat Statistik dan UNESCO. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dengan mengimplementasikan strategi penguatan literasi melalui antologi puisi di SMA Negeri 1 Wadaslintang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis sata interaktif, yang meliputi pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa program gerakan literasi sekolah yang melibatkan kegiatan membaca dan menulis puisi secara signifikan meningkatkan minat dan kemampuan literasi siswa. Dampak dari penelitian ini adalah terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih kondusif dan literat, serta peningkatan karakter siswa sesuai dengan nilai-nilai kehidupan. Penelitian ini juga memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan program Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) yang telah dicanangkan oleh pemerintah, sehingga dapat menciptakan generasi muda yang literat dan mampu bersaing di era globalisasi.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology requires teachers as education activists to always follow updates in the learning process. Update information is obtained through research. A study requires skills in writing. The purpose of this community service was to determine the role of mentoring in writing articles on teachers' writing competence. The method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Mentoring is carried out online and offline. During online classes, teachers get material from the class created through the WhatsApp Group platform. Writing competence data is taken with comprehension test questions and assessments of articles made by mentoring participants. The test results show that teachers' writing competence shows an average of 67. Intensive mentoring is carried out on articles made by participants so that understanding increases. The impact of mentoring in writing articles, teachers have good writing skills and analyze problems in the classroom that are developed in research to find innovative solutions that can be applied to learning.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve teacher competence in writing scientific articles according to Sinta-accredited journal standards. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this program involves a partnership with the Wonosobo Science MGMP in intensive training and mentoring. The focus of activities includes improving understanding of the structure of scientific articles, from writing abstracts to compiling bibliographies using Mendeley. The program results showed a significant increase in teachers' motivation and writing competence, as evidenced by producing five articles successfully submitted to Sinta 2 and 3 accredited journals. Participant satisfaction surveys showed overwhelmingly positive assessments, with most responses in the excellent and sound categories. The success of this program highlights the importance of intensive mentoring in teacher professional development, particularly in the aspects of research and scientific publications. Recommendations for future program development include expanding coverage, strengthening institutional collaboration, and developing a digital platform to support program sustainability. This program has the potential to have a long-term impact on the quality of education through improving teachers' research and publication capacity, instilling confidence and optimism in the audience.

Abstract

The scientific article writing training program implemented at SMA N 1 Wadaslintang aims to improve the skills of teachers and students in writing quality scientific articles. This program is designed to equip teachers and students with technical skills in scientific writing as well as develop systematic research abilities. This research uses a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, which places teachers and students as active participants in every stage of the program, from planning, and implementation, to evaluation. With this approach, teachers and students are not only the objects of training but also participate in the process of reflection and improvement of the program. Through the PAR approach, it is hoped that students can understand more deeply the scientific writing process and make a direct contribution to improving the quality of learning. The results of this training show a positive impact on scientific article writing skills. This is proven by the participants who got a perfect score of 100 on the competency test. They can write more structured and follow correct scientific principles. This program also succeeded in increasing motivation to continue developing writing and research skills.

Abstract

The increasing public awareness of environmentally friendly products has driven the demand for mobile phone accessories that are not only functional but also have aesthetic value and cultural identity. This research aims to produce an innovative eco-friendly mobile phone casing product called CENDARIA, which combines ethnic-modern style with the use of cendani bamboo waste as the main material. The methods used include identifying potential local raw materials, designing ethnic-modern designs, prototyping, product quality testing, and disseminating the development results. The results show that cendani bamboo waste can be processed into a mobile phone casing with adequate structural strength, a unique visual appearance, and high aesthetic value, making it a competitive alternative to plastic casings. This innovation proves that the transformation of local waste can produce value-added products that support environmental sustainability while strengthening cultural identity. CENDARIA has an economic impact by creating business opportunities for local craftsmen and providing environmentally friendly product choices for consumers. CENDARIA can be a model for developing creative products based on local resources that contribute to waste reduction, economic empowerment, and a sustainable lifestyle.
