Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology requires teachers as education activists to always follow updates in the learning process. Update information is obtained through research. A study requires skills in writing. The purpose of this community service was to determine the role of mentoring in writing articles on teachers' writing competence. The method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach. Mentoring is carried out online and offline. During online classes, teachers get material from the class created through the WhatsApp Group platform. Writing competence data is taken with comprehension test questions and assessments of articles made by mentoring participants. The test results show that teachers' writing competence shows an average of 67. Intensive mentoring is carried out on articles made by participants so that understanding increases. The impact of mentoring in writing articles, teachers have good writing skills and analyze problems in the classroom that are developed in research to find innovative solutions that can be applied to learning.

Abstract

Perkembangan bahasa atau komunikasi pada anak merupakan salah satu aspek dari tahapan perkembangan anak yang harus banyak-banyak diperhatikan terlebih berbahasa merupakan sarana anak dalam berkomunikasi satu orang dengan yang lainnya. Perkembangan Bahasa tidak luput juga dari perhatian para pendidik pada umumnya dan orang tua pada khususnya. rata-rata anak usia 5-6 tahun telah menyimpan lebih dari 14.000 kosakata. Perkembangan Bahasa pada anak dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, pola asuh, Kesehatan, dan hubungannya dengan orang tua. Salah satu faktonya yaitu kebijakan pola asuh orang tua pada anak, memberikan akses gadget pada anak usia 3-6 tahun sebagai penenang dan media hiburan justru berdampak negstif pada anak. Bagaimana perkembangan Bahasa pada anak yang dipengaruhi oleh gadget pada anak usia 3-6 tahun. Metode yang digunakan berupa kualitatif dengan Teknik wawancara, pengumbulan data dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwasannya pemberiaan gadget kepada anak usia 3-6 tahun memiliki efek sebagai penghambat Bahasa, berbicara, dan mengotrol emosi. Penggunaan gadget pada anak dapat berdampak positif dan negatif dalam perkembangan Bahasa. Meskipun fitur lengkap yang tersedia pada gadget yang membuat pembelajaran Bahasa dan pengetahuan, apabila diakseskan secara berlebihan dapat menyebabkan kecanduan dan keterlambatan berbicara. Maka dari itu peran orang tua sangat penting dalam mengetahui dan membimbing perkembangan Bahasa pada anak mereka.

Abstract

This service activity aims to improve teacher competence in writing scientific articles according to Sinta-accredited journal standards. Using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, this program involves a partnership with the Wonosobo Science MGMP in intensive training and mentoring. The focus of activities includes improving understanding of the structure of scientific articles, from writing abstracts to compiling bibliographies using Mendeley. The program results showed a significant increase in teachers' motivation and writing competence, as evidenced by producing five articles successfully submitted to Sinta 2 and 3 accredited journals. Participant satisfaction surveys showed overwhelmingly positive assessments, with most responses in the excellent and sound categories. The success of this program highlights the importance of intensive mentoring in teacher professional development, particularly in the aspects of research and scientific publications. Recommendations for future program development include expanding coverage, strengthening institutional collaboration, and developing a digital platform to support program sustainability. This program has the potential to have a long-term impact on the quality of education through improving teachers' research and publication capacity, instilling confidence and optimism in the audience.
