Abstract

The development of competent human resources (HR) is a top priority for improving the quality of life in society. In education, teachers' ability to enhance their skills is key to successful learning. However, many teachers struggle to adapt teaching methods to the demands of the digital era, especially in utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology. AI offers innovative solutions such as personalized learning and adaptive platforms that enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning processes. This study examines the implementation of AI-based learning models and teacher training programs in Muhammadiyah schools in Semarang. Using the Training of Trainer (ToT) approach, the program equips teachers with skills such as using adaptive learning tools and AI-based evaluation systems. The study employs a mixed-methods approach involving practical training and result evaluation. The findings reveal improved digital literacy and confidence among teachers in using AI for interactive learning. In conclusion, AI has great potential to transform education, but its success depends on comprehensive, ethical, and sustainable strategies. The ToT program serves as a strategic step to empower teachers to face educational challenges in the digital era.

Abstract

Pengembangan usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah (UMKM) khususnya dalam sektor batik di Kecamatan Gunungpati, Kota Semarang, menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini. Artikel pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi dan menerapkan strategi peningkatan penjualan produk batik UMKM Gunungpati melalui optimalisasi Program Internet Marketing (I-Market). Dengan memanfaatkan potensi teknologi digital, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi penerapan platform online sebagai sarana efektif dalam memasarkan produk batik secara berkelanjutan. Metode penelitian melibatkan studi literatur, survei lapangan, serta pelatihan dan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM batik di Gunungpati. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa optimalisasi Program Internet Marketing (I-Market) dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap peningkatan penjualan produk batik UMKM. Strategi yang melibatkan pemanfaatan media sosial, platform e-commerce, dan teknik promosi online menjadi kunci utama dalam meraih keberhasilan. Melalui pendekatan ini, diharapkan UMKM batik di Gunungpati dapat meningkatkan daya saingnya dalam pasar digital, menciptakan peluang bisnis baru, serta memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap ekonomi lokal. Selain itu, artikel ini juga memberikan gambaran tentang bagaimana integrasi teknologi digital dalam pemasaran dapat menjadi solusi bagi UMKM dalam menghadapi tantangan global. Peningkatan penjualan yang berkelanjutan diharapkan dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi lokal dan memberikan dampak positif bagi para pelaku UMKM batik di Gunungpati, Kota Semarang. Berdasarkan evaluasi setelah kegiatan ditemukan bahwa ada peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 85% tentang I-Market.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Artificial Intelligence-Based Learning Media Development Program (P3MP-AI) in enhancing teachers’ technological and pedagogical competencies at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Malang. The program employed a descriptive approach using both quantitative and qualitative methods, including pre-test and post-test assessments, as well as direct observation of the training process. A total of 30 teachers from various disciplines actively participated in the program conducted on August 12, 2025. The evaluation results revealed an increase in the participants’ average scores from 100 to 130 out of a maximum of 150, indicating a significant improvement in their understanding of AI concepts and applications in education. Beyond competency enhancement, the training also fostered teachers’ confidence, creativity, and ability to integrate AI-based tools into interactive learning media. However, several challenges were identified, such as limited technological resources and time constraints in classroom implementation. Overall, this program has made a tangible contribution to strengthening teachers’ digital literacy and can serve as a replicable professional development model for other vocational schools seeking to advance AI-based educational transformation.
