Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how the effectiveness of the use of power point media in learning fiqh class XII and to find out what are the supporting and inhibiting factors in the use of power point media in learning fiqh class XII at SMA Muhammadiyah Special Program Sambi in the 2023/2024 Academic Yaer. The type of research in writing this thesis is qualitative research. Where this research aims to nderstand the phenomena experienced by the subject holistically and descriptively in using different natural phenomena. Data processing techniques and data analysis used through three stages, namely data reduction, presentation of information and conclusion drawing. The result showed that the use of power point media in learning fiqh class XII at SMA Muhammadiyah Special Program Sambi is effective with the increase in learning facilities/resouurces in fiqh learning subjects, learning methods used by fiqh teachers do not make students passive. Supporting factors in the use of power point media include the support of the principal and a conducive learning environment while the inhibiting factor in the lack of availability of lcd projectors so that it can hinder learning activities and lack of creativity of education in presenting so that students are monotonous to the teacher’s delivery.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitudes towards Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) behavior in the Vocational School workshop. This research is descriptive research with a quantitative approach. The research population was Machining Engineering students and the sample was determined using purposive sampling technique. The data collection technique uses a closed questionnaire. Data were processed using descriptive analysis techniques and regression analysis. The results of the research show that (1) there is a significant relationship between knowledge and OHS behavior of class which is significant, OHS knowledge and attitudes together towards the OHS behavior of class X students majoring in Mechanical Engineering at Vocational School. This conclusion provides factors influencing students' OHS behavior. The implications of this research are providing OHS knowledge to improve student behavior in OHS.

Abstract

Sifat ramah lingkungan dari serat rami menyebakan penggunaannya sebagai penguat dalam matriks polimer terus berkembang. Namun, sifat hidrofilik yang dimiliki serat rami secara signifikan dapat menyebabkan ikatan antarmuka yang kurang baik ketika serat dijadikan penguat pada komposit polimer. Perlakuan kimia merupakan salah satu metode yang digunakan untuk mengurangi sifat hidrofilik serat rami. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh variasi konsentrasi asam maleat terhadap sifat fisis serat rami seperti moisture content, densitas, dan diameter. Serat rami diperlakukan dengan berbagai konsentrasi asam maleat (2, 4, 6, 8, dan 10 wt.%). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan kimia secara efektif mengurangi moisture content pada serat rami, dengan nilai terendah yaitu  8,52%, yang diamati pada sampel yang direndam dengan 6 wt.% larutan asam maleat. Demikian pula pada hasil pengukuran densitas, dimana densitas naik seiring dengan peningkatan konsentrasi asam maleat dan maksimal pada sampel konsentrasi 6 wt.% dengan nilai 1,4267 gr/cm3. Hal ini disebabkan terlarutnya sebagian daerah amorf pada permukaan serat, sehingga terjadi peningkatan compactness serat. Hal ini didukung oleh hasil pengukuran diameter dimana nilainya menurun secara konsisten dengan peningkatan konsentrasi. Modifikasi permukaan ini menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi asam maleat 6 wt.% memberikan kondisi perlakuan yang optimal, yang diharapkan dapat meningkatkan ikatan antarmuka serat-matriks pada komposit polimer.

Abstract

The biomedical field is increasingly developing with the creation of biomaterial dental crown products that can be used if teeth are damaged from an aesthetic perspective. 316L stainless steel is a biomaterial because it has good corrosion resistance and high mechanical characteristics. However, the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 316L stainless steel still need to be improved so that it can be a better dental crown material. This research objective is to increase the mechanical value of 316L stainless steel by cold rolling treatment. Variations in reducing thickness by cold rolling consist of 0%, 5%, and 12%. After that, the specimen will be tested for Vickers hardness on the specimen surface and wettability. The results obtained after the treatment were carried out that the greater the variation in reducing the thickness of the specimen, the greater the Vickers hardness value. However, in the wettability test, the contact angle value decreased along with increasing variations in thickness reduction. The increase in surface hardness value is due to the granules becoming denser due to the influence of cold rolling. This reduces the contact angle value so that the value of all variations becomes less than 90Ëš.
