Abstract

The low economic condition of the population in Bandar Selamat Subdistrict, Medan City has caused the children there to drop out of school. This caused several local youths to take the initiative to build the Rambutan Reading House as a learning forum for children to continue receiving an education. The aim of this leadership project activity is to strengthen the reading literacy of the children of Rambutan Reading House using Pop Up Book media. The data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation with twenty children as research subjects. The results of this activity show the enthusiasm of the children of Rambutan Reading House in reading literacy activities using Pop Up Book media. Apart from that, they are also able to retell the contents of the story and answer all the questions correctly during quiz games

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the Teaching at The Right Level (TaRL) approach can be used to improve the learning outcomes of social studies for grade V students of SDN 101766 Bandar Setia in the 2024-2025 school year. This research is a Class Action Research (PTK). This research was conducted for two semesters. Each series consists of four steps: observation, reflection, implementation of actions and planning. The subjects of this study are 24 students and teachers in grade V of SDN 101766 Bandar Setia which totals 24 people. Data collection was carried out by observation, questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The resulting data was analyzed descriptively consisting of: data reduction, data analysis, and sentiment analysis. This study proves that there is an increase in the percentage of students who achieve the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM) before and after the intervention. The average class score in the pre-cycle was 59.58, increasing to 72.70 in the first cycle, and reaching 87.08 in the second cycle.

Abstract

Di sekolah dasar, salah satu tujuan utama dari proses pendidikan adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Melalui penggunaan model pembelajaran Discovery Learning, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas 3 di SDN 060925 Medan Amplas mengenai konten Pendidikan Pancasila. Metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) digunakan dalam penyelidikan ini. Desain model Kemmis dan McTaggart digunakan, dan penelitian ini terdiri dari dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari perencanaan, pelaksanaan rencana menjadi tindakan, pengamatan, dan refleksi terhadap hasil. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah tiga puluh anak di kelas tiga, dan metode pengumpulan data meliputi ujian hasil belajar, pengamatan aktivitas siswa, dan pencatatan. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh temuan bahwa penerapan paradigma Discovery Learning menghasilkan peningkatan yang cukup besar dalam hasil belajar siswa. Hanya 65 merupakan nilai rata-rata yang dicapai siswa sepanjang periode pra-tindakan, dan hanya empat puluh persen dari pembelajaran mereka yang diselesaikan. Setelah tindakan yang dilakukan pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata siswa meningkat menjadi 70, dan pembelajaran tuntas hingga enam puluh persen. Setelah siklus II selesai, nilai rata-rata siswa mencapai 80, dan tingkat ketuntasan pembelajaran adalah 83,3%. Baik tingkat keterlibatan siswa maupun tingkat motivasi mereka menunjukkan tanda-tanda perbaikan, di samping hasil belajar. Selama fase pratindakan, tingkat partisipasi siswa dianggap buruk. Setelah penerapan Discovery Learning, tingkat keterlibatan siswa meningkat hingga mencapai 75% pada siklus I dan kemudian mencapai 90% pada siklus II. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa model Discovery Learning merupakan metode yang berhasil untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar, keterlibatan, dan motivasi siswa yang berpartisipasi dalam inisiatif Pendidikan Pancasila.
