Abstract

This study explores the impact of adaptive education on employee empowerment and productivity among Relationship Managers (RMs) at BRIguna, focusing on differences in learning preferences across generations. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, this study highlights that Generation X, Millennials, and Generation Z have different training preferences, with Generation X preferring formal face-to-face training, while Millennials and Gen Z prefer flexible technology-based learning methods. The results emphasize the importance of adaptive education tailored to individual learning styles, indicating that technology-based training has a positive impact on productivity, especially among generations familiar with technology. Direct observation and thematic analysis suggest that blended learning can bridge generational differences, accommodate diverse preferences, and increase engagement and efficiency in the workplace. In addition, adaptive training that is tailored to employees’ learning preferences increases their sense of being valued and empowered, which positively influences their loyalty and commitment. This study contributes to the literature on adaptive education in multigenerational organizations, particularly in the banking sector, by offering insights into the design of effective training programs to maximize productivity, engagement, and retention across generations. These findings also open opportunities for further research on the role of adaptive education in creating a cohesive, inclusive, and productive work environment amidst generational diversity.

Abstract

This research explores the effectiveness of credit insurance in empowering MSMEs, which is one of the important sectors in building the national economy. Using a descriptive qualitative method with a case study of Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI), this research analyses changes in the Non-Performing Loan (NPL) ratio for MSME loans before and after the implementation of credit insurance. Data was collected from a literature review, reports from the Financial Services Authority (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK), Bank Indonesia, Ministry of Cooperatives and MSMEs, and BRI's internal reports. The findings show that the implementation of credit insurance lowered the NPL ratio in BRI's MSME segment from 3.5% to 2.1% over two years, supporting the role of credit insurance as a risk mitigation tool that transfers default risk to the insurance company. These results strengthen the theory of risk mitigation and have practical implications for banks in expanding access to secure financing for MSMEs. A limitation of this study is its focus on one bank, which means the results may not be generalizable across the board. Policymakers and regulators are encouraged to consider policies that encourage wider adoption of credit insurance for MSMEs. This study offers insights into developing effective risk mitigation strategies for the MSME credit sector.

Abstract

In the modern digital era, achieving financial inclusion remains a significant challenge, particularly in rural areas of Indonesia, where access to financial services is still limited. With only 70.13% of the rural population financially included, a substantial portion of individuals continue to rely on the informal financial sector, which often fails to meet their financial needs effectively. In response to these challenges, digital payment technology has emerged as a viable solution to bridge the gap in financial access. This study investigates the impact of digital payments on financial inclusion in rural East Java, employing a quantitative survey approach through questionnaires administered to digital payment users. The findings reveal that the adoption of e-wallets and QR payments significantly enhances community access to financial products and services. These results offer valuable insights for policymakers and stakeholders in formulating more effective strategies to improve financial inclusion in rural areas, thereby fostering economic growth and enhancing the overall well-being of communities.

Abstract

Mt. Biru is a fertile wilderness area in Tamanjeka Hamlet, Masani Village, Poso Pesisir District, Poso Regency. At 2006, the Mt. Biru area was widely known as the movement basis of the East Indonesia Mujahidin group led by Santoso. As an area inhabited and/or controlled by terrorists, the peace of the population becomes disturbed, even frightened, because there are counter-indications between terrorists and security personnel from the military/police. The article from this research discusses sociopsychological rehabilitation and increases the food security of households affected by vulnerability in the Mt. Biru area. The social conditions of the community in the process and social interaction both within their internal and external circles experience rigidity and are very limited, confined, and even fearful. Sociologically, the process and social interaction, due to persistent fear, are gradually becoming psychological symptoms that influence other aspects of life, especially in the economic field as farmers. Significant decline in farmer's productivity due to the loss of sociopsychological strength due to terror and incidents, decreasing family food security, and other generative impacts in time will emerge.

Abstract

Digital transformation has prompted Islamic educational institutions, such as Islamic boarding schools, to develop new communication strategies to convey religious values while fulfilling their educational functions. One notable strategy is the use of social media as a medium for non-formal religious education. This study aims to analyse the digital-based religious education strategies developed by Pondok Pesantren Nurul Jadid through its official Facebook account during March–June 2025. The study employs a qualitative approach using content analysis on all posts published during the period. Data were analysed using four main categories: message type, language style, religious symbols, and audience interaction. The results of the study indicate that the Facebook messages of the Nurul Jadid Islamic Boarding School are not merely informative or ceremonial but are deliberately crafted to foster religious awareness, strengthen Islamic literacy, and expand the educational functions of the boarding school in the digital realm. The language style used is communicative and polite, interspersed with popular elements that facilitate public acceptance in the digital sphere. Religious symbols such as the yellow book, mosque, and religious leaders serve as visual representations of Islamic educational values. The highest audience interaction occurs on video content and religious moments, indicating the effectiveness of content as an educational medium. This study concludes that Facebook is part of the pesantren's educational communication strategy in integrating traditional and modern values, and in shaping a digital media-based religious education model relevant to the current public character
