Abstract

Background: The literature on the prevalence of depression in patients with mild cognitive impairment (MCI) reveals a complex interplay between these conditions that significantly affects patient outcomes. Various studies illustrate how depressive symptoms can exacerbate cognitive decline, increase the risk of progression to dementia, and complicate diagnosis and treatment strategies. Literature Review: The examination of depressive symptoms in patients with MCI, particularly in the context of Parkinson's disease, indicates that these symptoms significantly impair recognition performance. The relationship between social engagement and depression is also critical, as increased social support may mitigate depressive symptoms and improve overall well-being. The challenges in differentiating between MCI and depression are underscored by the overlapping cognitive impairments, suggesting that subsyndromal depressive symptoms may serve as early indicators of dementia. The bidirectional association between depression and cognitive impairment is particularly pronounced in primary care settings, where depression rates among individuals with MCI can reach as high as 32%. Conclusion: In conclusion, the literature collectively highlights the urgent need for integrated approaches in the assessment and management of depression and MCI. Recognizing the interplay between these conditions can lead to improved outcomes through early detection, targeted interventions, and a holistic approach to patient care.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran guru, kemampuan literasi siswa dalam membaca dan menulis serta faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca dan menulis. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah peran guru dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca dan menulis terlihat pada peran guru dalam mendidik, membimbing, memotivasi, mengajar dan mengevaluasi. Kemampuan literasi membaca dan menulis yaitu realita literasi siswa di sekolah itu menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan literasi bahasa siswa tergolong rendah, kesulitan yang dihadapi oleh siswa sekolah dasar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan literasi bahasanya adalah belum sesuainya praktik literasi yang dilakukan oleh guru, kurangnya lingkungan literasi yang tersedia, dan tingkat literasi orangtua yang berbeda sehingga berdampak pada kurangnya literasi informasi yang diperoleh siswa dari rumah. Faktor penghambat dan faktor pendukung dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca dan menulis yaitu faktor pendukung: Tutor teman sebaya, Kebijakan sekolah, Buku Bacaan dan faktor penghambat: Siswa, Lingkungan, Sarana.

Abstract

The importance of understanding da'wah rhetoric on social media, especially Instagram, is increasing among Generation Z and Millennials. This study compares the da'wah rhetoric of Ustadz Hanan Attaki and Habib Husein Ja'far in short Instagram Reels videos to understand its application in a digital context. Using a qualitative approach and comparative research, data was collected through observation and documentation of video content. The analysis was conducted by categorizing the videos based on rhetorical themes and identifying similarities and differences in the aspects of ethos, pathos, logos, and delivery style of the two figures. The results showed that despite the differences in style, both managed to combine the principles of ethos, pathos, and logos effectively. Ustadz Hanan uses a sharp voice pitch with a relaxed style, while Habib Husein emphasizes an organized structure with a consistent rhythm. This difference emphasizes the importance of adjusting language style, voice, and body movements to the character of the audience. In addition, both use informal language and Qur'anic verse quotations to reinforce the message. The findings are expected to provide guidance for da'i in utilizing social media effectively, as well as pave the way for further research to examine social and cultural influences on da'wah reception.

Abstract

The Candi Bumi Ayu Festival in PALI Regency is a cultural event aimed at preserving and promoting the local historical and cultural values. This study aims to analyze the impact of these factors on the success of the Candi Bumi Ayu Festival in PALI Regency. A quantitative approach was used, with a survey design and a sample of 300 respondents who were festival attendees. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS software. The results indicate that the quality of event management, effective marketing, government support, and community participation all have a positive and significant impact on the success of the festival. Support from local government is also a key factor, particularly in terms of funding and policy-making. Community participation, as a driving force behind the event, enriches the activities and creates a more vibrant atmosphere. This study provides recommendations for festival organizers to improve event management, strengthen marketing strategies, broaden government support, and encourage community participation for sustainable success.

Abstract

Culture is one of the soft power instruments for building good relationships between countries. The Spanish government has carried out cultural diplomacy through the El Programa Para la Internacionalización de la Cultura Española (PICE) since 2013, with France as one of the target countries for implementation. As a country with a diverse culture, Spain uses it as an instrument of diplomacy. Nevertheless, PICE as a cultural diplomacy program has obstacles to global implementation. France as a country that is geographically directly adjacent and as one of the potential markets for Spanish cultural tourism. This study aims to learn about the implementation of a cultural diplomacy strategy toward France through PICE. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research approach with a literature study as the data sources. Using the concept of public diplomacy and cultural diplomacy, it was found that the PICE program toward France in the first 10 years was implemented through 4 cultural activities, artist mobility, cultural exchange, cultural representation, and collaboration with France cultural institutions. Thus, PICE toward France became a tool for giving a broader perspective about Spain to the France public through the cultural instrument and also strengthened the existing bilateral relations between Spain and France.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the influence of infrastructure on economic growth in West Sumatra Province. This research is quantitative in type. The data used is secondary data in the districts/cities of West Sumatra Province 2015-2021 obtained from related institutions. This research uses panel data regression analysis assisted by Eviews10 software. The results of this research show that road infrastructure has a positive and significant influence on economic growth in West Sumatra Province. Electrical infrastructure has a positive and significant influence on economic growth in West Sumatra Province and agricultural infrastructure has a positive and insignificant influence on economic growth in West Sumatra Province.
