Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of government policies and determine the perception of tourism business actors with the government's policy regarding the CHSE program during the pandemic period in the city of Parepare. This research is a type of qualitative research, with data collection techniques using interviews, documentation and triangulation. Using a research instrument, namely interview guidelines. The data were analyzed using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques, through the stages of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that implementation of government policies regarding the CHSE program during the pandemic in the city of Pare-Pare has not been carried out properly and optimally so that this makes tourism service business actors learn and find out for themselves about the CHSE program, restaurant service business actors in particular, only following the recommendations of health protocols, this is due to the lack of socialization and coordination provided by the government. The perception of tourism business actors with the government's policy on the CHSE Program raises good and positive things, but because there is no socialization about policies This makes restaurant service business actors and guests or consumers have different perceptions and positive and negative views, the existence of government policies regarding the CHSE Program is not well known by restaurant service businesses and the public so they choose to find out for themselves. and practice it yourself.

Abstract

This study analyses the impact of technology and innovation on operational performance in the housekeeping section of the tourist area in Takalar Regency. Data from employee interviews indicate that while technology adoption varies, advanced technology has increased efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction. Challenges include a lack of training and resistance to change. To overcome these, the study suggests investing in technology, employee training, and collaborating with technology providers. In conclusion, technology and innovation are crucial for enhancing productivity and customer satisfaction in the hospitality sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of location, price, promotion, and laundry perfume aroma partially and simultaneously on decisions to use laundry services in Makassar. Data were collected through a survey of 165 laundry customers in Makassar. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results showed that location and promotion have a positive and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services while price and laundry perfume aroma have a negative and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services. The closer or easier the location of the laundry to the customer's residence, the cheaper the price offered, and the more intensive the promotion carried out, the more likely the customer is to use laundry services. The smell of laundry perfume that does not follow the tastes of laundry consumers will result in a decrease in the decision to use laundry services by consumers. Simultaneously, the variables of location, price, promotion, and laundry perfume aroma have a simultaneous and significant effect on the decision to use laundry services. Based on the results of this study, it is recommended for entrepreneurs or managers of laundry businesses to pay attention to business locations, prices offered, promotions carried out, and the aroma of laundry perfume used to increase the number of laundry customers.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pengelola glamping dan camping ground di Malino, Kabupaten Gowa, melalui pelatihan pelayanan prima berbasis standar housekeeping dan hospitality. Kegiatan dilaksanakan selama tiga hari, 16–18 Mei 2025, di D’Luna Camping Ground, dengan melibatkan 35 peserta yang terdiri dari pengelola akomodasi wisata dan anggota Pokdarwis. Metode pelatihan meliputi sesi teori selama 8 jam, praktik lapangan 8 jam, serta evaluasi menggunakan pre-test dan umpan balik peserta. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas peserta merasa materi mudah dipahami dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta, serta praktik lapangan sangat membantu dalam penguasaan keterampilan. Kegiatan ini mendapat respon positif dan dinilai efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman operasional glamping. Rekomendasi ke depan adalah perlunya pendampingan lanjutan, pelatihan tematik lebih mendalam, serta penyelenggaraan kegiatan serupa pada waktu high season agar lebih kontekstual dan implementatif

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pandemi COVID-19, globalisasi, dan kemajuan teknologi telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap tren ketenagakerjaan. Perkembangan ini tentu memengaruhi harapan pemberi kerja mengenai keterampilan dan atribut yang harus dimiliki oleh lulusan pendidikan tinggi. Harapan pemberi kerja tidak hanya dibentuk oleh kualitas institusi pendidikan, tetapi juga oleh kesan yang ditinggalkan lulusan terhadap calon pemberi kerja. Perubahan ini sangat penting untuk merumuskan kebijakan yang mempersiapkan lulusan agar lebih siap dan berdaya saing di pasar kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka dengan menelaah dan menganalisis berbagai naskah yang telah diterbitkan terkait topik penelitian. Hasilnya mengidentifikasi beberapa atribut yang paling sering diharapkan pemberi kerja dari lulusan perguruan tinggi, termasuk kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama tim, keterampilan teknis atau praktis, dan kompetensi profesional.   Kata Kunci: Expektasi Employer, Lulusan, Perguruan Tinggi.   ABSTRACT   The COVID-19 pandemic, globalization, and technological advancements have brought significant changes to employment trends. These developments have undoubtedly influenced employer expectations regarding the skills and attributes higher education graduates should possess. Employers' expectations are shaped not only by the quality of educational institutions but also by the impressions graduates leave on potential employers. Recognizing these changes is essential for developing policies that equip graduates to be well-prepared and competitive in the labour market. This study utilizes a literature review approach by examining and analysing various published manuscripts related to the research topic. It identifies several attributes that are most frequently desired by employers from college graduates, including communication skills, teamwork, technical or practical skills, and professional competencies.   Keywords : Employer Expectation, Graduates, Higher Education.
