Abstract

Abstract This research is motivated by the decrease of attraction of the Taman Alam Punti Kayu Nature Park which is the only natural tourist attraction in Palembang City. The study aims to determine the effect of tourist attraction on revisit decision with a visiting interest as intervening variables. Based on initial observations that have been made at Punti Kayu Nature Park Palembang, the attraction component is quite adequate for the accessibility, amenities, attractions, and other public facilities. The study included 95 individuals who visited the Punti Kayu Nature Park. The analysis of data used in this research is descriptive and quantitative, and uses the structural technique Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) Version 3.0. to test the relationship between variables. The findings of the study are divided into two stages, an outer model evaluation that tests the validity and reliability of research data, and an inner model evaluation that tests the practicality of research instruments. Research findings indicate that variable appeal significantly affects revisit decisions and visiting interests. Subsequently, the interest in visiting has had a significant impact in mediating the appeal of tourist attraction and revisit decisions. Abstract

ABSTRAK   Pandemi COVID-19, globalisasi, dan kemajuan teknologi telah membawa perubahan signifikan terhadap tren ketenagakerjaan. Perkembangan ini tentu memengaruhi harapan pemberi kerja mengenai keterampilan dan atribut yang harus dimiliki oleh lulusan pendidikan tinggi. Harapan pemberi kerja tidak hanya dibentuk oleh kualitas institusi pendidikan, tetapi juga oleh kesan yang ditinggalkan lulusan terhadap calon pemberi kerja. Perubahan ini sangat penting untuk merumuskan kebijakan yang mempersiapkan lulusan agar lebih siap dan berdaya saing di pasar kerja. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan tinjauan pustaka dengan menelaah dan menganalisis berbagai naskah yang telah diterbitkan terkait topik penelitian. Hasilnya mengidentifikasi beberapa atribut yang paling sering diharapkan pemberi kerja dari lulusan perguruan tinggi, termasuk kemampuan komunikasi, kerja sama tim, keterampilan teknis atau praktis, dan kompetensi profesional.   Kata Kunci: Expektasi Employer, Lulusan, Perguruan Tinggi.   ABSTRACT   The COVID-19 pandemic, globalization, and technological advancements have brought significant changes to employment trends. These developments have undoubtedly influenced employer expectations regarding the skills and attributes higher education graduates should possess. Employers' expectations are shaped not only by the quality of educational institutions but also by the impressions graduates leave on potential employers. Recognizing these changes is essential for developing policies that equip graduates to be well-prepared and competitive in the labour market. This study utilizes a literature review approach by examining and analysing various published manuscripts related to the research topic. It identifies several attributes that are most frequently desired by employers from college graduates, including communication skills, teamwork, technical or practical skills, and professional competencies.   Keywords : Employer Expectation, Graduates, Higher Education.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh ticketing management yang diukur dengan menggunakan teori fungsi manajemen POAC (planning, organizing, actuating, controlling) terhadap kepuasan pengunjung di event festival Palembang matsuri 2023. Pendekatan kuantitatif digunakan dengan metode pengambilan data berupa kuesioner yang diberikan kepada pengunjung festival Palembang matsuri 2023. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah pengunjung yang membeli tiket secara langsung di venue. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan proportionated stratified random sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 88 orang. Analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Pengaruh ticketing management terhadap kepuasan pengunjung sebesar 41,1 %. (2) Pada variabel planning secara parsial tidak berpengaruh secara positif atau signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung (3) Pada variabel organizing secara parsial berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. (4) Pada variabel actuating secara parsial tidak berpengaruh secara positif atau signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung. (5) Pada variabel controlling secara parsial berpengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan pengunjung.
