Abstract

The Minister of Education is always making changes to education in Indonesia. One of them is curriculum changes. Over time, many curricula have undergone innovations and changes for educational institutions. Therefore, an educational institution must obey the rules established by the educational institutions to be applied by each educational establishment. The aim of this study is to see how prepared teachers are in dealing with the implementation of this independent curriculum. This method of research is a qualitative descriptive of the phenomena occurring on the ground at the moment. The location of this research is at SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi. These findings show that teacher preparation not only includes a deep understanding of the concept, but also the ability to carry out thorough assessments, dedication to sustained professional growth, and skills in making RPPs aligned with the Learning Declaration. Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi, including the environmental conditions of the school, facilities, premises, and availability of human resources. There are obstacles when it comes to providing sufficient facilities to support an independent curriculum, including restrictions on classroom capacity, lack of laboratory or library facilities, and limited access to books or other educational resources. Furthermore, there is a shortage of educators who have the qualifications and skills necessary to effectively use creative and innovative teaching approaches. Inadequate teacher education qualifications and lack of teaching experience are other problems that affect teachers in designing learning. Abstrak Menteri pendidikan selalu melakukan perubahan untuk pendidikan di Indonesia salah satunya yaitu perubahan kurikulum. Dari masa ke masa sudah banyak kurikulum mengalami inovasi maupun perubahan untuk lembaga pendidikan. Maka dari itu sebuah lembaga pendidikan harus mematuhi aturan yang ditetapkan oleh lembaga pendidikan untuk diterapkan oleh tiap-tiap lembaga pendidikan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk melihat bagaimana kesiapan guru dalam menghadapi implementasi kurikulum merdeka ini. Metode penelitian ini yaitu kualitatif deskriptif fenomena yang terjadi di lapangan pada saat ini. Lokasi penelitian ini yaitu di SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa persiapan guru tidak hanya mencakup pemahaman yang mendalam tentang konsep, tetapi juga kemampuan untuk melakukan penilaian menyeluruh, dedikasi untuk pertumbuhan profesional yang berkelanjutan, dan keterampilan dalam membuat RPP yang selaras dengan deklarasi Pembelajaran. Implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi, termasuk kondisi lingkungan sekolah, fasilitas, premis, dan ketersediaan sumber daya manusia. Ada hambatan ketika datang untuk menyediakan fasilitas yang cukup untuk mendukung kurikulum merdeka, termasuk pembatasan pada kapasitas kelas, kurangnya fasilitas laboratorium atau perpustakaan, dan akses terbatas ke buku atau sumber daya pendidikan lainnya. Selanjutnya kekurangan pendidik yang memiliki kualifikasi dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk secara efektif menggunakan pendekatan pengajaran yang kreatif dan inovatif. Kualifikasi pendidikan guru yang tidak memadai dan kurangnya pengalaman mengajar adalah masalah lain yang mempengaruhi guru dalam merancang pembelajaran.

Abstract

One of the efforts made by the school principal to improve the quality of educational institutions is the implementation of a learning quality assurance system. It is crucial for educational institutions to implement a quality assurance system for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning because general schools also need to emphasize religious education. By focusing on this quality assurance system, the goal of improving the quality of education in institutions can be achieved, aligning with the institution's objectives. This research aims to analyze the implementation of the PAI learning quality assurance system in fifth-grade classes at SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi. The research method used is descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. The data collection techniques employed include observation, interviews, document analysis, and reviewing previous studies related to the research topic. The research location is SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi. The results indicate that the PAI learning quality assurance system at SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi has been effectively implemented through steps such as program planning, the use of appropriate learning media, and regular evaluation of learning outcomes. The PAI curriculum at SDN 02 Aur Kuning Bukittinggi follows an independent curriculum tailored to the students' characteristics and environmental conditions. The implementation of quality assurance in learning adheres to the National Education Standards (SNP) and is supported by supervision and monitoring from the school principal. The evaluation of students' learning outcomes includes daily assessments, periodic tests, midterm exams, and final semester exams.

Abstract

This paper aims to describe the leadership role of teachers in Islamic education. This research uses the literature study method by analyzing primary sources from books and journals. The results of the study show that leadership is a crucial element in organizations, including in education. Effective leadership is the main key in determining the success of education, especially because of the many managerial aspects that must be managed. In the Islamic perspective, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH has shown ideal leadership traits, such as honesty, trustworthiness, communicativeness and intelligence. In addition, teacher leadership in Islamic education emphasizes the importance of exemplary and good communication skills as part of leadership duties. Thus, a teacher not only acts as an educator but also as a leader who is able to provide positive examples for students. Abstrak Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan peran kepemimpinan guru dalam pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi pustaka dengan menganalisis sumber-sumber primer dari buku dan jurnal. Hasil studi menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan merupakan elemen krusial dalam organisasi, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan. Kepemimpinan yang efektif menjadi kunci utama dalam menentukan keberhasilan pendidikan, terutama karena banyaknya aspek manajerial yang harus dikelola. Dalam perspektif Islam, Nabi Muhammad saw. telah menunjukkan sifat-sifat kepemimpinan yang ideal, seperti jujur, amanah, komunikatif, dan cerdas. Selain itu, kepemimpinan guru dalam pendidikan Islam menekankan pentingnya keteladanan serta keterampilan komunikasi yang baik sebagai bagian dari tugas kepemimpinan. Dengan demikian, seorang guru tidak hanya bertindak sebagai pendidik tetapi juga sebagai pemimpin yang mampu memberikan contoh positif bagi peserta didik.

Abstract

The management strategy at MTsN 2 Bukittinggi also involves a results-based learning approach. Regular monitoring and evaluation are conducted to assess student achievement and the effectiveness of learning programmes. The data obtained from this process is not only used as an evaluation tool, but also as a basis for drafting improvement plans and developing educational policies. The purpose of this study is to explain the Effective Madrasah Management Strategy in Improving the Quality of Teaching and Learning at MTsN 2 Bukittinggi. This research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive, which intends to describe Effective Madrasah Management Strategies in Improving Teaching and Learning Quality at MTsN 2 Bukittinggi through in-depth information extraction in accordance with the predetermined research focus.The results of this study show that MTsN 2 Bukittinggi successfully integrates various aspects of research to create a balanced educational ecosystem. With effective learning management, active stakeholder participation, wise resource management, and continuous evaluation, this madrasah is able to provide quality learning experiences that are relevant to students' development. This success is not only reflected in academic achievement, but also in students' character development and positive contribution to society. Abstrak Strategi manajemen di MTsN 2 Bukittinggi juga melibatkan pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis hasil. Pemantauan dan evaluasi berkala dilakukan untuk menilai pencapaian siswa dan efektivitas program pembelajaran. Data yang diperoleh dari proses ini tidak hanya digunakan sebagai alat evaluasi, tetapi juga sebagai dasar untuk penyusunan rencana perbaikan dan pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan. Tujuan penelitian ini menjelaskan tentang Strategi Manajemen Madrasah Efektif dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Belajar Mengajar di MTsN 2 Bukittinggi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan deskriptif, yang bermaksud untuk mendeskripsikan Strategi Manajemen Madrasah Efektif dalam Peningkatan Kualitas Belajar Mengajar di MTsN 2 Bukittinggi melalui penggalian informasi secara mendalam sesuai dengan fokus penelitian yang telah ditentukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa MTsN 2 Bukittinggi berhasil mengintegrasikan berbagai aspek penelitian untuk menciptakan ekosistem pendidikan yang seimbang. Dengan manajemen pembelajaran yang efektif, partisipasi aktif pemangku kepentingan, pengelolaan sumber daya yang bijak, dan evaluasi yang terus-menerus, madrasah ini mampu memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang berkualitas dan relevan bagi perkembangan siswa. Keberhasilan ini tidak hanya tercermin dalam pencapaian akademis, tetapi juga dalam pengembangan karakter siswa dan kontribusi positif terhadap masyarakat.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of Auguste Comte's principles of positivism in decision-making in education management at SDN 02 Aur Kuning. Using descriptive qualitative methods, this study describes the impact of a data-driven approach to education policy. The results show that applying positivism enhances objectivity, accountability and transparency in decision-making and supports continuous improvement in academics and student character building. However, challenges such as limited resources, access to accurate data and integration of religious values with the scientific approach still need to be overcome. This research emphasizes the importance of commitment from all parties to ensure the implementation of positivism can optimally improve the quality of education.
