Abstract

The meaning of the King's tomb on Penyengat Island for pilgrims depends on their perception of the tomb itself. Perception is said to be recognition or identification using the five senses. The impression received by an individual is very dependent on all the experiences that have been gained through the process of thinking and learning and is influenced by factors originating from within the individual. The purpose of this research is to find out the meaning of the king's tomb in the community on Penyengat Island, Tanjungpinang City (Study on the Society of Penyengat Island City Tanjung Pinang). The theory used regarding meaning is phenomenology from Alfred Schutz. This research is qualitative research using interview and observation methods. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the meaning of the King's tomb in the community on Penyengat Island, Tanjungpinang City, namely that the community interprets a King's tomb as something that must be respected. Moreover, this tomb is the tomb of a figure who was very instrumental in the development and progress of Penyengat Island, such as the tomb of Raja Ja'ffar, the tomb of Raja Ali Haji, the tomb of Engku Putri and the tombs of other figures

Abstract

This study explores the perception of teachers and students at SMKN 1 Boyolali regarding the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in accounting education. Using a qualitative case study approach, data were collected from three accounting teachers and three students through interviews and observations. The findings show that AI improves data analysis, personalizes learning, and provides instant feedback, aiding students in understanding complex accounting concepts. In addition, AI also contributes to the efficiency of administrative task management and the provision of more interactive teaching materials. However, obstacles such as limited infrastructure, inadequate internet connectivity, and lack of training for teachers and students hinder the optimal use of AI in the learning process. The study underscores the need for improved technology infrastructure, more comprehensive teacher training, and supporting policies that can encourage the effective use of AI in vocational accounting education. Thus, the results of this research are expected to provide insight for stakeholders in designing AI-based learning strategies that are more innovative and relevant to the latest technological developments.

Abstract

Dalam mengikuti perkuliahan, mahasiswa membutuhkan berbagai literatur bacaan guna mendukung kegiatan belajar yang mereka lakukan. Banyaknya literatur yang menjadi referensi bacaan sering kali membuat mahasiswa kesulitan dalam mengelola referensi. Manajemen referensi sangat penting bagi para peneliti, akademisi, mahasiswa, dan profesional lainnya karena dapat membantu mempermudah proses penulisan karya ilmiah seperti: skripsi, tesis, disertasi, artikel prosiding, atau jurnal. Dari berbagai macam software manajemen referensi, penulis memilih Mendeley. Adapun metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah dengan melakukan ceramah mengenai apa itu Mendeley. Selanjutnya penulis melakukan sesi praktikum penggunaan Mendeley Desktop maupun Mendeley Reference Manager mulai dari instalasi hingga penggunaan. Jumlah peserta pelatihan sebanyak 50 (lima puluh) orang peserta. Dari hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan, ditemukan skor rata-rata indeks kepuasan sebesar 4,76 poin dari 5,00.
