Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the application of the Role Play Method on speaking skills in class XI students of SMA 1 Montong Gading for the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of research used is experimental. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis techniques and independent data analysis techniques. The results of the analysis conducted in class XI of SMAN 1 Montong Gading by looking at the students' speaking ability using the Role Play Method and has been tested statistically to obtain a t-count result that is greater than t-table. the results of the t-test obtained t-count = 5.23 at a significant level = 5% with degrees of freedom = n1+ n2-2 = 34+34-2 = 66, so that the experimental class showed an increase. These results were obtained by using hypothesis testing with t-test, from the calculation it can be calculated = 5.23 while t table = 2.00 which means t count > ttable which states HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant impact between the experimental class and the control class on students' speaking ability by role play method. Keywords : Role Play, Communication Skill, Experiment

Abstract

The law of female circumcision in Indonesia is still a controversy between scholars, medicine, and the state. This study aims to analyze the obligation of citizens to comply with Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024, which prohibits the practice of female circumcision, from the perspective of the Shafii School, where this madhhab actually encourages it. This study uses the library research method to examine primary and secondary sources related to hadith, fiqh, madhhab Syafii, contemporary fatwa, and medical and legal aspects in Indonesia. The analysis was carried out using the approach of hadith criticism, ushul fiqh, maqashid shariah, and fiqh madhhab Syafii. The results of the study show that there is a contradiction between the classical views of the Shafii School that tend to advocate female circumcision, including the MUI fatwa, and the results of the 32nd NU Congress in Makassar. However, the principle of obedience to the government is also emphasized in this school. This study found that the sharia basis for female circumcision is dzanni, with generally weak supporting hadith and medical aspects that aggravate female circumcision that can be carried out with the support of the ushhul fiqh approach, maqashid sharia, and fiqh madhhab Syafii. In conclusion, despite differences of opinion, citizens' compliance with Government Regulation No. 28 of 2024 can be justified from the perspective of the Shafii School by considering that it does not contradict Islam. This study suggests the need to review Islamic law in fatwa institutions in Indonesia.

Abstract

Background: Female-headed households in marginalized communities face complex challenges in understanding Islamic law and managing family economics, impacting household resilience and welfare. Purpose of the Study: This community service aims to enhance Islamic legal literacy and strengthen sharia-based economic capacity through local asset optimization. Methods: Using the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, this participatory action research involved field observation, interviews, and FGDs with 30 PEKKA in Wedi Village, Bojonegoro. Results: The program successfully identified three key asset clusters: social (pengajian groups), cultural (Islamic values), and economic (culinary, sewing, farming skills). ABCD strategy activated these assets, leading to the formation of the “Srikandi Salak” business group and multidimensional transformation.

Abstract

 Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhinya pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia kelas  V SD Negeri 1 Aikmel Barat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Tekhnik dan instrumen pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data diakukan melalui model interaktif dari Miles & Huberman, yakni pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Siswa masih kesulitan dalam menyelesaikan soal, memahami kata-kata yang sulit, menganalisis, dan mengerjakan sehingga siswa menghasilkan nilai rendah dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS; (2) Faktor penghambatnya adalah keterbatasan dalam memahami kosakata dan isi bacaan, mereka tidak mampu memahami maksud soal dengan tepat dan keterbatasan waktu  penyelesaian; (3) Faktor pendukung yakni guru, kepala sekolah memberikan fasilitas yang baik pada peneliti, dan siswa sangat antusias dalam mengerjakan soal HOTS sehingga penelitian ini bisa berjalan dengan lancar.
