Abstract

Surat kabar bagian dari media cetak bertujuan menyampaikan informasi kepada pembaca yang ditulis sesuai Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia. Penelitian ini mengupas dan mengkaji kesalahan berbahasa surat kabar Radar Lombok 7 edisi Oktober 2022. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kulitatif deskiriptif. Teknik pengumpulan yang digunakan adalah simak yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data dan catat untuk mencatat pemerolehan data. Teknik Validasi data menggunakan trianggulasi sumber/data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis interaktif meliputi aktivitas pengumpulan data, reduksi datan penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Hasil dari kajian ini menemukan bahwa kesalahan penulisan pada media cetak siring dilakukan oleh para wartawan, seperi kasalahan pada penulisan huruf kapital dan huruf kecil, kesalahan penulisan kata depan, tidak menggunakan kata baku, tidak menggunakan huruf miring pada bahasa asing yang belum ada padanya dalam bahasa indonesia, salah dalam menulis kata depan dan imbuhan, serta ketidakefektifan dalam menulis kalimat perlu diperkuat pada siswa dan mahasiswa agar mereka bisa menerapkannya dalam keterampilan menulis.

Abstract

Jenis penelitian ini deskriptif-kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pragmatik dengan tujuan mendeskrpsikan pelanggaran maksim dan implikatur percakapan antara gojek online dengan pelanggan. Sumber data penelitian ini pesan singkat perkacapan antara gojek dengan pelanggan yang melanggar maksim dan implikatur percakapan dengan jumlah 5 percakapan yang diambil dari internet. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik studi dokumenter. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode padan pragmatis menganalisis data tuturan pelangaran maksim dan implikatur dalam percakapan gojek online di whatsapp pribadi penutur dan lawan tutur. Berdasarkan hasil kajian penelitian ini pada data pertama gojek onlien dan pelanggan melanggar maksim kuantitas, kualitas, dan relevansi, sedangkan data kedua percakapan gojek dan pelanggan menggunakan maksim kualitas, kuantitas dan relevansi karena tidak berlebihan, data ketiga Percapakan dari pelanggan tersebut menggunakan maksim kualitas, kuantitas, cara, dan relevansi karena jawabannya sesuai pertanyaan, tidak menambah ataupun mengurangi, sedangkan data ke empat menggunakan maksim kualitas, kuantitas, dan cara karena sesuai dengan lokasi tempat pelanggan. Pelanggaran maksim dan implikatur dalam komunikasi antara gojek dan pelanggan dapat mengganggu kelancaran komunikasi mereka, maka perlu antara penutur dan mitra tutur harus memahami maksim dalam berkomunikasi.

Abstract

Masalah utama yang diidentifikasi adalah tantangan dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang mengembangkan karakter positif pada siswa di era digital. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas teknologi gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan hasil pembelajaran bahasa dan sastra. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 50 siswa kelas VIII A dan B sebagai populasi. Data dikumpulkan melalui pre-test dan post-test, serta survei, dan dianalisis menggunakan teknik statistik deskriptif dan komparatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dalam pemahaman siswa tentang bahasa dan sastra setelah penerapan teknologi gamifikasi, dengan nilai prates rata-rata dari Bahasa Indonesia meningkat dari 76.2 menjadi 84.5, dan dari Sastra Indonesia dari 72.8 menjadi 81.3. Faktor-faktor pendukung dan penghambat juga diidentifikasi melalui analisis, termasuk infrastruktur teknologi, keterampilan staf pengajar, serta dukungan dan partisipasi siswa. Hasilnya menunjukkan peningkatan signifikan dari nilai prates (76.2) ke nilai pascates (84.5) pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia dan dari nilai prates (72.8) ke nilai pascates (81.3) pada mata pelajaran Sastra Indonesia. Temuan ini mengindikasikan efektivitas integrasi Teknologi Gamifikasi dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah bahwa teknologi gamifikasi memiliki potensi untuk menjadi alat yang efektif dalam meningkatkan pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di era digital, dengan menyediakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang dinamis dan interaktif bagi siswa. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif tentang potensi dan tantangan integrasi Teknologi Gamifikasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia di era digital, serta memberikan dasar yang kuat untuk pengembangan strategi pembelajaran yang lebih efektif dan menarik.

Abstract

Deixis is defined as a demonstrative pronoun that is used to designate a person, place, and time. The use of deixis is commonly found in the Sasak language of the meriaq-meriku dialect in the community of Penujak village in greetings. This research aims to describe the deixis of the Sasak language of meriaq-meriku dialect in the community of Penujak village. The data of this research are speech descriptions that have been transcribed in the form of speech by speakers and interlocutors. The data were obtained from the community that owns and uses the Sasak language of the meriaq-meriqu dialect, namely Penujak village, Praya Barat sub-district, Central Lombok District. The data were collected using the technique of engaging and speaking without observing (simak bebas libat cakap). To ensure the validity of the research data, triangulation was administered as a comparison of the data with the theory used. The data were analyzed using a separate method in the form of elements of language as the object of research objectives. The deixis found in the community of Penujak village are: personal deixis in the form of; É™ku 'I' , tiang 'I' , itÉ™ 'we', lÉ™pÊŠ?tÉ™ 'we all/together', kÉ™mu 'you', sidÉ™ 'you', and nijÉ™/ijÉ™ 'dia'; place deixis in the form of: ija?/nija?/nini 'this/ here', tÉ™ 'there', tuː 'there (far)', and taoh 'there'; and time deixis in the form of: nani ‘now’, bÉ™rÊŠ? ‘just now’, lawÊŠn ‘later’, É”ne? ‘just’, lÉœma? ‘tomorrow’, uwɪ? 'yesterday', sÉ™nawah 'three days from now', laÉœ? 'first (related to time) ', and Éœra? 'next day (indefinite time) '. The finding of deixis in the meriaq-meriku dialect is a form of identification of the use of the regional language of the Sasak community in Lombok.Keywords: deixis, Sasak language, meriaq-meriku dialect.

Abstract

Sesenggaq in the culture of the Sasak tribe are everyday expressions used. In Indonesian language terms sesenggaqis same as proverbs. The proverb itself in the Main Indonesian Dictionary is explained as; groups of words or sentences that have a fixed structure, impose specific intentions and are short, compact expressions or sentences, containing comparisons, parables, advice, principles of life or rules of behavior. This paper reveals about the use of "animals" in sesenggaq Sasak, why is that, what is the meaning and function. This is due to the fact that there are quite a number of sesenggaq Sasak that use animals in their expressions.This study used a qualitative descriptive method with researchers as the main data source, because they are native speakers of the language studied. This research is explored using an ethnolinguistics perspective which  focuses on the relationship between language and the views of its speakers.Keyword: Animals, Sesenggaq, Sasak, Ethnolinguistics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of the application of the Role Play Method on speaking skills in class XI students of SMA 1 Montong Gading for the 2020/2021 academic year. The type of research used is experimental. Data collection techniques are interviews and documentation. The data analysis techniques in this research are descriptive analysis techniques and independent data analysis techniques. The results of the analysis conducted in class XI of SMAN 1 Montong Gading by looking at the students' speaking ability using the Role Play Method and has been tested statistically to obtain a t-count result that is greater than t-table. the results of the t-test obtained t-count = 5.23 at a significant level = 5% with degrees of freedom = n1+ n2-2 = 34+34-2 = 66, so that the experimental class showed an increase. These results were obtained by using hypothesis testing with t-test, from the calculation it can be calculated = 5.23 while t table = 2.00 which means t count > ttable which states HO is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there is a significant impact between the experimental class and the control class on students' speaking ability by role play method. Keywords : Role Play, Communication Skill, Experiment

Abstract

This study aims to uncover the symbolic and philosophical meanings of religion and politics in Hamzanwadi's Wasiat Renungan Masa Pengalaman Baru. This research employs qualitative methods with a semiotic approach in analysing the poem's verses containing religious and political symbolism. Data collection involved close reading, interpretation, and in-depth understanding of the verses, while semiotic analysis was applied to identify and examine the symbols and their philosophical meanings. Several steps in data validation include reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing.The results reveal that Hamzanwadi employs religious and political symbols in his poem to convey moral and social messages. Religious symbols—such as faith, piety, and the concept of the Almighty God—highlight the importance of loyalty and commitment to religious values in political life. Political symbols—such as seats and positions—represent political ambitions that can threaten religious teachings' integrity and true purpose. The philosophy embedded in these symbols emphasises the significance of loyalty, integrity, and honesty in politics and warns against using religion for personal or political gain.This research offers key insights into three main points: 1) faith and piety serve as a solid moral foundation for ethics inpolitical life; 2) political ambition and power have the potential to corrupt religious values and undermine integrity; and 3) integrity and adherence to religious teachings are essential for promoting clean and responsible governance. These findings contribute to a deeper understanding of the interaction between religion and politics in Hamzanwadi's workand offerbroader reflections on ethical leadership.

Abstract

The Assistance of candidate Teacher Mover is a forum for developing the competence of leader learning in driving the educational ecosystem, encouraging learning innovation, and strengthening teacher commitment and motivation. The workshop activity aims to identify and explore the potential of candidate teacher mover through Junior High School (SMPN) 1 Selong workshop activities. The devotional method is evaluation and collaboration between practical teacher and candidate teacher mover. The assistance results showed that the workshop activities at SMPN 1 Selong effectively explored the potential of teacher mover. During these activities, the candidate teacher mover is challenged to work in groups, lead discussions, and manage projects individually so that this activity develops leadership skills, teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving. In addition, through these workshop activities, students also better-understood education and the role of a teacher. They can observe how teachers facilitate the learning process, face a problem in teaching, and interact with students. Through this activity, the candidate teacher mover can develop leadership skills and practical knowledge needed in the teacher profession. Hopefully, this approach can be widely applied in other schools to support improving the quality of education in the digital era.

Abstract

This research, entitled “Semiotic Analysis of Roland Barthes in the Novel Laut Bercerita” by Leila S. Chudori, aims to identify signs in the novel and analyze their denotative, connotative, and mythical meanings based on Roland Barthes’s theory. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, using literature review techniques through intensive reading and recording quotations containing symbols. The results show that the novel Laut Bercerita contains signs that represent various aspects of socio-political life, such as betrayal, the struggles of the younger generation, education, gender, death, nature, and political repression. At the denotative level, the signs convey literal meaning; at the connotative level, they convey symbolic meaning related to emotional and social experiences. While at the mythical level, these signs form broader ideologies, such as the myth of the fragility of loyalty, the struggle of the younger generation as agents of change, a critique of patriarchy, sacrifice as a spirit of struggle, and the legitimacy of power through imprisonment. This study concludes that the novel Laut Bercerita is not only a literary work with aesthetic value, but also a medium for social and ideological criticism that revives the collective memory of the Indonesian nation.

Abstract

This community service is carried out to develop students ' writing talents, improve short story writing skills, and foster an interest in reading and writing. It aims to explain the importance of intensive training in writing short stories to awaken the literary talent of NWDI Pancor Kopong Junior High School students, which amounts to 15 people. The reason for choosing this topic is based on the awareness of the importance of developing creative writing skills in education and the recognition of the potential of literature as a means of self-expression and understanding that is important for the development of students. The approach used in the service is a training approach that includes the stages of planning, action, observation and reflection, and results. The planning stage includes the identification of students ' talents through questionnaires and interviews, as well as the preparation of training materials based on relevant literature. The action stage involves several weeks of intensive training focusing on developing the idea, drafting the plot, characterization and editing the script. Continuous observation is used to monitor the development of students ' skills, while the reflection stage evaluates the training results and designs improvements for the next stage. The evaluation results showed that this training was successful in improving students ' ability to develop short story ideas (80%), develop story plots (75%), describe character characters (85%), and edit scripts (70%). Further action plans include the refinement of training modules based on feedback and an increased focus on more in-depth writing techniques to ensure optimal achievement in the development of students ' literary talents.
