Abstract

This research aims to determine the benefits of educational psychology for educators in improving the quality of learning. The problem faced by educators today is a lack of understanding of educational psychology which can affect the quality of learning. The aim of this research is to determine the benefits of educational psychology for educators in improving the quality of learning. The research method used is literature study by analyzing various relevant literature sources. The research results show that educational psychology has significant benefits for educators in improving the quality of learning, namely increasing educators' ability to understand student behavior and needs, increasing learning effectiveness, and improving the quality of relationships between educators and students.

Abstract

The process of fostering religious values ​​in shaping children's personalities can start from the time the child is born until he becomes an adult. When children are born they are introduced to the kalimah thoyyibah, then after they grow and develop into children, the first thing that must be instilled is religious values ​​related to faith, so that children believe in the existence of Allah and can know Allah with certainty (ma' rifatullah). At the same time, children are also guided about moral values, such as how to speak well, dress well, socialize well, and so on. Good qualities are also instilled in children, such as the values ​​of honesty, justice, simple living, patience and so on. This article uses a library research method. The purpose of this article is to describe the role of Islamic religious education in forming the character of early childhood. The research results show that Islamic religious education plays a role as the main foundation in forming the personality of early childhood. With the right approach, religious values ​​can guide children to become individuals who are moral, have strong character, and are able to live life with good principles.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan proses yang penting untuk mengembangkan potensi individu, tidak hanya dalam bidang akademik tetapi juga dalam pembentukan karakter dan kemampuan sosial. Salah satu aspek krusial dalam pendidikan adalah memahami gaya belajar siswa, yang mencakup visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik. Gaya belajar yang tepat dapat meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran, membantu siswa memahami materi dengan lebih baik, dan mengoptimalkan potensi mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi literatur untuk menganalisis peran gaya belajar dalam pendidikan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman terhadap gaya belajar siswa dapat memperbaiki metode pengajaran, meningkatkan kemampuan akademik, serta memotivasi dan melibatkan siswa dalam proses pembelajaran. Gaya belajar visual, auditorial, dan kinestetik masing-masing memiliki karakteristik yang mempengaruhi cara siswa memproses informasi, yang penting untuk dikembangkan dalam upaya menggali potensi siswa secara maksimal. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa penyesuaian metode pembelajaran dengan gaya belajar siswa berpotensi besar dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan dan membantu siswa menjadi individu yang mandiri dan kompeten.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi strategi yang diterapkan oleh orang tua muallaf dalam mendidik anak-anak mereka tentang pendidikan agama Islam di Banda Aceh. Fokus utama penelitian adalah mengidentifikasi tantangan, pendekatan, dan peran komunitas lokal dalam mendukung orang tua muallaf menjalankan tanggung jawab pendidikan agama. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus, melibatkan wawancara mendalam dengan orang tua muallaf, anak-anak mereka, serta tokoh agama setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa orang tua muallaf menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti kurangnya pemahaman mendalam tentang Islam, stigma sosial, dan keterbatasan akses ke sumber daya pendidikan agama. Meskipun demikian, mereka menerapkan strategi seperti belajar bersama anak-anak, memanfaatkan bimbingan komunitas masjid, dan menggunakan media digital sebagai sumber belajar. Dukungan komunitas Islam lokal di Banda Aceh juga berperan signifikan dalam membantu orang tua muallaf membangun fondasi pendidikan agama yang kokoh. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pendekatan kolaboratif antara keluarga, komunitas, dan lembaga keagamaan diperlukan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang dihadapi orang tua muallaf dalam mendidik anak-anak mereka tentang agama.
