Abstract

This systematic review analyzes the impact of bullying on victims and perpetrators among elementary school students. This study used inclusion and exclusion criteria to filter relevant articles published between 2022 and 2024. Articles were obtained from two databases, Taylor & Francis and ScienceDirect, with the help of Boolean operators according to keywords. The study selection process followed the PRISMA method which involved four stages: identification, screening, eligibility, and inclusion. Of the total 6,527 articles identified, five articles met the inclusion criteria. Data synthesis was carried out qualitatively through thematic analysis. This review included five studies with a total sample of more than 97,000 participants from Spain, China, the United States, South Korea, and the Netherlands. The main results showed that bullying behavior significantly increased the risk of anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation. In addition, bullies also experience long-term impacts, including behavioral and academic problems and the risk of criminality in adulthood. Limitations of this study include the use of a cross-sectional design, potential reporting bias, and lack of representation in cultural and long-term contexts. Future research should focus on longitudinal studies, more diverse instruments, and populations. These findings underscore the importance of comprehensive bullying prevention programs and targeted psychological interventions to address both the immediate and long-term impacts of bullying._____________________________________________________________Tinjauan sistematis ini menganalisis dampak bullying terhadap korban dan pelaku di kalangan siswa Sekolah Dasar.

Abstract

The increase in divorce cases has raised concerns about the psychological well-being of affected children, with the risk of anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. The purpose of this writing is to find out the impact of divorce on children's mental health. The method used is a systematic literature review using databases from PubMed and ScienceDirect. The search was carried out using the keywords children, divorce, marital dissolution, mental health. Article screening used the PRISMA method and 8 articles were found that were in accordance with the research topic. The results showed that divorce increased the risk of mental problems such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, and decreased academic performance. In addition, children from divorced families face a higher risk of mental disorders. High parental conflict exacerbates negative effects, while good social and emotional support can reduce those adverse effects. This study highlights the importance of paying special attention to the mental well-being of children post-divorce to prevent adverse long-term effects. It is hoped that the results of this study can deepen the understanding of the impact of divorce and help develop support strategies for children who have experienced parental divorce, in order to reduce the risk of long-term mental health disorders. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of self-efficacy on career decision-making among vocational high school (SMK) students and identify the factors that influence it. The method used is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) with the PRISMA approach, which includes the identification, screening, evaluation, and interpretation of articles from the Taylor & Francis and Sage Journal databases. Of the 5,533 articles found, four relevant articles were analyzed. The results show that self-efficacy plays a significant role in building students' confidence in choosing a career that suits their interests and potential. Factors such as social support, academic experience, family environment, work experience, and active decision-making strategies contribute significantly to increasing self-efficacy. In addition, interventions such as career guidance, self-exploration training, job simulations, and career workshops have proven effective in helping vocational high school students face the challenges of an increasingly complex working world. This study concludes that strong self-efficacy can help vocational high school students achieve optimal career readiness. It is necessary to develop innovative and integrated career guidance programs, involving schools, parents, and industry, to support students in making informed career decisions. This study provides valuable insights for guidance and counseling teachers in improving more effective career guidance services.

Abstract

Declining marital commitment weakens family stability and psychological health, increasing the need for evidence-based couple interventions. This systematic review consolidates empirical studies on psychological interventions aimed at strengthening marital commitment among married couples. Searches in Scopus, ProQuest, and Google Scholar covered publications from 2018 to 2025 using keywords related to marital commitment and psychological couple interventions. From 151 records, 15 duplicates were excluded, 136 titles and abstracts were screened, and 46 full texts were evaluated. Thirty-seven studies were discarded because they either did not measure marital commitment or did not meet design criteria. Seven studies met all the inclusion criteria. The methodological quality was assessed with the Mixed Methods Appraisal Tool. The diversity in study designs, formats, samples, and outcome measures precluded meta-analysis, so a narrative synthesis was conducted. Five categories of interventions were identified: cognitive-behavioural therapy (three studies), skills-based training in communication and conflict resolution (two randomised trials), acceptance and commitment therapy (one study), emotion-focused therapy (one study), and solution-focused brief therapy (one randomised trial). Cognitive-behavioural therapy and skills-based approaches showed the most consistent improvements in marital commitment, mainly through cognitive restructuring and enhanced communication. Acceptance-based and emotion-focused therapies showed some benefits but have limited replication; additionally, trials involving motivational interviewing were ineligible. Overall, current evidence most strongly supports cognitive-behavioural therapy and skills training. However, small sample sizes, short follow-up periods, and varied measures of commitment limit the ability to generalise findings, highlighting the need for large, longitudinal studies using standardised instruments across diverse cultural populations. Future research should focus on standardised commitment measures, transparent randomisation processes, and more extended follow-up periods beyond 12 months to evaluate long-term effectiveness and mechanisms across different contexts.

Abstract

Work stress in police personnel is one of the important factors influencing psychological well being and family dynamics, particularly marital commitment. This study aims to identify and analyze the relationship between work stress and marital commitment among Indonesian National Police personnel thru a systematic literature review (SLR) approach to recent national and international research. The study results indicate that work stress has an impact on reducing communication quality, causing role conflict, and increasing emotional tension in the marital relationships of police personnel. Work-family conflict is the main mediator in this relationship. While social support, flexible work policies, and individual coping strategies are important moderating factors in overcoming existing conditions. The limitations of the research found are primarily related to the dominance of quantitative studies, the limitations of the local Indonesian context, and the scarcity of longitudinal studies, which pose challenges for the development of effective interventions. This study recommends strengthening organizational and family support and developing policies responsive to the dynamics of work stress to improve resilience and the quality of marital commitment among police personnel. This finding is very important in efforts to strengthen understanding of the work-life balance in the police environment in order to support the professionalism and well-being of members and their families.
