Abstract

Digital technology is becoming increasingly important in the field of education, especially in the context of 21st-century learning challenges. However, in the Madura region, the implementation of technology in geography teaching still faces many obstacles. The digital literacy of teachers is still relatively weak. This study aims to enhance the digital knowledge of geography teachers in the MGMP (Subject Teacher Group) in Madura through learning materials based on micro web learning. The community service program was conducted through training and mentoring to enable teachers to access, manage, and integrate digital resources into their teaching. The results show a significant improvement in teachers' digital skills, which positively impacted the quality of teaching and student motivation. However, challenges such as limited technological infrastructure and the need for continuous training remain. This study concludes that improving the digital literacy of geography teachers can enhance the quality of education in Madura with the right strategies. Recommendations include collaboration between the government, schools, and educational communities to improve infrastructure and provide continuous training.

Abstract

Learning in the digital era requires innovative interactive media to improve educational effectiveness, including learning evaluation. The main challenge is low student engagement due to conventional evaluation methods. Publuu, an interactive digital platform, offers a solution by providing interesting teaching materials. This study developed and tested Publuu-based interactive materials for learning evaluation courses in the Teacher Professional Education (PPG) program. Using the ADDIE-based Research and Development (R&D) method, data were collected through initial trials and final trials on two groups: the experimental group (30 students using Publuu) and the control group (30 students using conventional methods). Normality and homogeneity tests ensured statistical validity, followed by paired sample t-tests. The results showed that Publuu materials significantly improved student learning outcomes, with a significance value (Sig.) <0.05. In addition, these materials increased student motivation and engagement. Thus, Publuu-based interactive learning materials are suitable for PPG programs, improving the quality of evaluation learning. This study provides practical benefits of interactive tools in improving learning effectiveness and student active participation. Future developments may include more interactive features to increase the appeal and effectiveness of the material.

Abstract

The era of digital technology development puts the burden on the learning environment to be more interactive and relevant. One of them is the Geoedupreneurship course, from the point of view of low motivation from students due to a lack of technology integration. Therefore, the researcher aims to develop micro e-learning content based on real-life entrepreneurship to increase students' engagement and understanding of some entrepreneurial issues. The research method used was Research and Development with the Dick and Carey model combined with The Successive Approximation Model, to strengthen the systematic and adaptive aspects of the process. The research subjects consisted of 30 geography students. The data collection method used was a questionnaire. Data analysis used in this development research is quantitative with descriptive statistics. The result revealed that the developed Micro E-Learning content was valid, with an 87.25% indicator from the expert validation result. During its experimental testing on students, motivation and comprehension were improved, while interactivity and access satisfaction were at stake. The inclusion shows that the SIPEJAR-based Micro E-Learning enhances the quality of Geoedupreneurship learning, provides students with better preparation for their entrepreneurial future and an engaging and relevant learning experience.

Abstract

National food security is highly dependent on the sustainability of the agricultural sector, where commodities such as bird’s eye chili are very important. In Malang Regency, especially in Wiyurejo Village, the income of bird’s eye chili farmers is strongly influenced by changes in crop yields caused by various internal and external factors, including climate change, agricultural practices, and limited capital resources. Despite the expansion of chili cultivation, farmers' incomes often do not show a substantial increase. This study aims to identify and analyze the determining factors that affect the income of bird’s eye chili farmers in Wiyurejo Village, with an emphasis on land area, capital, and production output. The methodology used is quantitative descriptive, using a multiple linear regression approach, and involving 98 randomly selected participants. The results of the study indicate that although land area is positively correlated with income, the effect is not statistically significant. Capital does not have a substantial effect on income, while production output has a very beneficial effect. The coefficient of determination is 78.1%, indicating that increased production output is an important determining factor for farmers' income and thus contributes to national food security. Therefore, increasing production efficiency can be the key to improving farmers' welfare and supporting national food security

Abstract

21st-century learning has encouraged more interactive learning. The use of technological media in geography learning continues to be developed. However, the development of 3D view virtual exploration media is still rarely carried out. This research discusses virtual exploration of 3D view which can carry out direct 3-dimensional interactions to give students a better impression in learning geography. This research aims to provide innovation in developing Virtual Exploration as a learning media to support 21st-century learning in realizing environment-based learning. The research method used is R and D with the ADDIE model consisting of Analyst, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. The Development Phase is carried out in accordance with the research objectives. Data was collected using a mixed questionnaire consisting of (1) a closed questionnaire in the form of an answer checklist and (2) an open questionnaire in the form of direct answers from respondents. The data analysis technique used is the results of initial analysis data, data from material and media validity tests as well as student and teacher response data to the media. The media validation results were carried out by material experts with a percentage value of 90.50%, media experts at 84.5%, and geography teachers at 91.50%. The average student response from the media was 88.65%. Thus, the 3D view virtual exploration learning media on the sub-terrestrial hydrosphere material of the Konto watershed has the potential to be an effective learning tool in schools and gets a very positive response from students.
