Abstract

The creativity training program in sub-district units of Pangkajene District is an effort to strengthen the competency of government personnel in accelerating delivery of attractive and technology-based information. Social media is an important component of any instances to raise consumer’s awareness. It is hoped that by offering useful and attractive digital contents, sub-district units of Pangkajene District will be able to minimize the spread of fake news and many other useful information for citizen. With this program, our teams demonstrated various materials and cases using Canva application to generate an attractive and informative digital content, specifically by utilize Canva’s features and template.

Abstract

The use of Microsoft 365 as a learning media is very possible to increase students' understanding in implementing learning media carried out by teachers in the classroom, based on the basic features provided by Microsoft 365 which supports the learning process in the classroom and on assignments. Teachers at SMK Negeri 9 Jeneponto are still not able to make good use of Microsoft 365, such as Microsoft 365 features. It can be seen that there is a lot of interest in using Microsoft 365 but there is a lack of understanding so its use is not yet optimal. This community service activity is carried out by utilizing Microsoft Teams as one of the features in Microsoft 365 which can be used for virtual meets like this PKM implementation method. Problems experienced by partners such as those above can be overcome with PKM solutions in the form of efforts to increase teacher professionalism by providing training on the use of Microsoft 365 as a learning medium. Training on the use of Microsoft 365 as a learning medium in partner schools is considered appropriate so that teachers not only know how to use Microsoft 365, but also practice it.

Abstract

Desa wisata merupakan fenomena yang berkembang pesat sebagai upaya untuk mengintegrasikan pariwisata, pembangunan ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian lingkungan. Artikel ini membahas upaya pemberdayaan pengelola Wisata Alam Tallassappang dalam mendorong pengembangan desa wisata mandiri berbasis energi. Pendekatan mencakup transfer pengetahuan dan keterampilan yang diperlukan untuk mengelola aspek-aspek energi dalam operasional wisata. Pendampingan juga diharapkan dapat membantu pengembangan kewirausahaan lokal. Selain itu, artikel ini menitikberatkan pada pentingnya pendampingan dalam membangun kesadaran masyarakat lokal tentang manfaat dan tantangan pengelolaan energi berkelanjutan. Dengan membangun pemahaman ini, masyarakat dapat lebih aktif terlibat dalam prakarsa energi berkelanjutan. Cangkupan dalam aspek kelembagaan di area Kelurahan Kalabbirang juga dilakukan, guna mendukung pengembangan desa wisata berbasis energi. Diharapkan bahwa melalui pendampingan yang holistik, pengelola wisata dapat menjadi agen perubahan dalam mewujudkan desa wisata mandiri berbasis energi, memberikan manfaat ekonomi yang berkelanjutan, dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup masyarakat lokal sambil melestarikan keanekaragaman budaya dan alam.

Abstract

Traditional milkfish pond management by the Sinar Bonto Manai Farmer Group in Pangkep Regency faces two main problems: difficulties in accurately monitoring water quality and limited electricity access, which hinders technology adoption. This community service program aimed to address these issues through the implementation of appropriate technology. The implementation method was designed participatively in four stages: (1) preparation and capacity building through training and seminars, (2) implementation of an Internet of Things (IoT)-based water quality monitoring system integrated with a Solar Power Plant (PLTS), (3) mentoring on data utilization, and (4) evaluation. The results showed 100% partner participation with a significant increase in knowledge, with overall understanding rising from 33% in the pre-test to 95% in the post-test. The IoT-PLTS monitoring system, accessible via a smartphone application, was successfully installed and operated properly. Final evaluation revealed not only high partner satisfaction with the system’s functionality but also tangible improvements in pond productivity, including reduced risk of failure and more stable harvest outcomes. The main achievement of this program is the successful adoption of technology that transformed farmer’s work patterns from traditional intuition-based practices to proactive, data-driven management, thereby enhancing resilience and economic potential in milkfish aquaculture.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk memberdayakan kelompok petani tambak bandeng di wilayah pesisir yang menghadapi keterbatasan akses listrik dan rendahnya adopsi teknologi monitoring kualitas air. Solusi yang ditawarkan berupa penerapan sistem monitoring berbasis energi surya, yang memungkinkan pemantauan parameter kualitas air secara real-time melalui aplikasi berbasis IoT. Metode pelaksanaan mencakup pelatihan peningkatan kapasitas, instalasi perangkat, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan dalam pemanfaatan data. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman mitra terhadap prinsip-prinsip kualitas air, perubahan pola kerja dari reaktif menjadi proaktif, serta peningkatan partisipasi dalam pengelolaan tambak berbasis teknologi. Program ini berhasil meningkatkan keberdayaan mitra dalam aspek produksi dan manajemen, serta membuka peluang pengembangan usaha tambak yang lebih berkelanjutan dan berbasis energi hijau.
