Abstract

This research explains the role of the Head of Madrasah Tsanawiyah in the former Pekalongan Residence in implementing educational marketing management based on Total Quality Management in Education, the strategies used in implementing educational marketing management, and the impact on the madrasah regarding the implementation of educational marketing management. The research location is Madrasah Tsananwiyah in the former Pekalongan Residence, Central Java. The primary data is in the form of an educational marketing management model at Madrasah Tsanawiyah. Meanwhile, the secondary data is a theoretical basis obtained through reviewing literature regarding educational marketing management. This research is categorized as field research using a qualitative approach. The data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, observation, documentation and triangulation. The collected data was analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldana analysis model. The results of the research show that the role of the Head of the Pekalongan Ex-Residency Madrasah Tsanawiyah in implementing educational marketing management according to the TQM in Education perspective includes the managerial role, the role of work program executor, and the role of users of educational marketing facilities and infrastructure. Meanwhile, the strategies used are the Market-Based Management Strategy Model and the Resource-Based Strategy Model. The impacts caused by the implementation of educational marketing management include the fulfillment of planned education quotas, the establishment of cooperation between internal and external parties of the madrasah, and the creation of a positive image of the madrasah in society.

Abstract

This study examines the role of leadership in the implementation of strategic management at SMK Gondang and identifies the leadership styles employed by the school principal in this process. A qualitative research design with a case study approach was adopted. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with school leaders, teachers, and administrative staff, as well as through direct observation of leadership practices and strategic management implementation at SMK Gondang. Data analysis followed the Miles and Huberman interactive model, consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that the principal’s leadership plays a crucial role in decision-making and problem-solving related to strategic management implementation. Leadership is a key determinant in shaping the direction and ensuring the successful implementation of strategic management in vocational high schools. Furthermore, the principal at SMK Gondang demonstrates participative, transactional, and adaptive leadership styles, applying different approaches according to situational demands.

Abstract

Penggunaan roster beton sebagai elemen bangunan ventilasi semakin meningkat di Kabupaten Nunukan seiring perkembangan konstruksi perumahan dan bangunan umum. Namun, proses pembuatan roster beton oleh pengrajin lokal umumnya masih dilakukan secara manual dengan komposisi bahan yang diperoleh melalui metode trial and error, sehingga kualitas produk yang dihasilkan belum terstandar secara teknis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji proses pembuatan roster beton manual serta menganalisis karakteristik fisik berupa kuat tekan dan daya serap air. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dengan pendekatan kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Data diperoleh melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara dengan pengrajin, dokumentasi proses produksi, serta pengujian laboratorium terhadap sampel roster beton. Pengujian kuat tekan dan daya serap air dilakukan dengan mengacu pada standar SNI bata beton berlubang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peralatan dan bahan pembuatan roster relatif sederhana dan mudah diperoleh, dengan tahapan produksi yang cepat dan tidak memerlukan keahlian khusus. Nilai kuat tekan rata-rata roster beton sebesar 12 kg/cm², masih berada di bawah standar kuat tekan minimum SNI, sedangkan nilai daya serap air rata-rata sebesar 16% telah memenuhi persyaratan mutu. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa roster beton manual memiliki daya serap air yang baik, namun perlu pengembangan komposisi material untuk meningkatkan kuat tekan agar memenuhi standar konstruksi.

Abstract

Islamic Education (PAI) is confronted with a persistent challenge arising from the misalignment between its holistic aim of nurturing insān kāmil (the complete human being) and assessment practices that remain predominantly cognitive and reductive in nature. As a result, existing assessments have yet to adequately capture students’ character formation, attitudes, and diverse potentials. This study seeks to formulate and develop a holistic assessment model for PAI grounded in Multiple Intelligence theory. Employing a qualitative approach, the research is based on conceptual inquiry and critical analysis of scholarly literature on authentic assessment, Islamic education, and Multiple Intelligence theory. Data were analyzed using a descriptive–analytical technique through the synthesis of key concepts and the systematic mapping of relationships between PAI learning domains and Multiple Intelligence. The findings demonstrate that the integration of Multiple Intelligence theory into PAI assessment can generate a comprehensive, operational, and learner-centered assessment framework, enabling a more equitable and meaningful evaluation of learning outcomes across cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The proposed model offers a humanistic alternative to conventional assessment practices and aligns closely with the philosophical foundations of Islamic Religious Education as well as the demands of 21st-century education.
