Abstract

The research to study the application of audio and visual medium in order to learn speaking skill by audiolingual approach is a good contribution to educational world of senior high school and the Islamic one, particularly, in finding a way to improving the learning component relating directly to the medium and method of learning speaking skill. This research is to find out its significance and relevance. The main variable of this research includes the whole activities of the application of audio and visual medium in learning speaking skill by audio-lingual approach. The data were collected through observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. This research took place in state Islamic senior high school of Batang in Central Java. The result shows that the application helps the students to speak English correctly and accurately and stresses the message of the speaking skill learning.

Abstract

As a Javanese traditional educational institutions, pesantren can be said to be the oldest Islamic institution in Nusantara that grow and develop in the original Indonesian culture, which is believed by some researchers that it has adopted the model of previous education i.e. Hindu and Buddhist education. Pesantren in its development is influenced by the presence of a history of marginalization and isolation conducted by the Dutch. 350 years of Dutch colonialism led the development of intellectualism in Nusantara to be hampered. However, Islam in Nusantara remains strong and growing as shown in Islamic schools, which until now still survive and evolve with the more number and extensive Islamic education than other Muslim countries. Since the Dutch colonial era, schools have grown despite the Dutch colonial government never cared for the fate of the Islamic educational institutions. Pesantren still nurtured by Muslims themselves. Pesantren and Islamic educational institutions, such as majlis ta’lim, madrasah, langgar / surau, and others, are never acknowledged to be exist or even aided by the Dutch colonial government.

Abstract

Kajian ini membahas masjid dan aktivitas dakwah di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Permasalahan yang dibahas dalam tema pembahasan ini ialah bagaimana keberadaan dan fungsi masjid dalam mendukung aktivitas dakwah di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Kajian ini merupakan studi kepustakaan dengan fokus pembahasaan pada masjid sebagai salah satu lembaga dakwah Islam dalam mendukung aktivitas dakwah di era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Data primernya mencakup karya-karya ilmiah tentang masjid sebagai lembaga dakwah, dan Revolusi Industri 4.0. Sedangkan data sekundernya berupa berbagai karya ilmiah tentang masjid, dakwah, dan revolusi industri. Artikel ini memakai pendekatan kualitatif. Data-data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis dengan cara mereduksi, mendisplay, dan menverifikasi data menggunakan analisis isi. Kajian ini menemukan bahwa eksistensi dan fungsi masjid makin dibutuhkan kaum Muslimin di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0. Masjid bagi kaum Muslimin dapat diumpamakan seperti air dengan ikan. Mereka tidak akan bisa ?hidup? tanpa ?kehadiran? masjid. Namun, masjid yang tidak makmur ibarat air yang telah terkontaminasi dan beracun. Krisis dakwah yang menimpa kaum Muslimin dewasa ini salah satu sebabnya ialah karena banyak masjid yang tidak makmur. Upaya memakmurkan masjid seharusnya menjadi proyek bersama kaum Muslimin mengingat tantangan yang dihadapi oleh masjid sebagai sarana utama dakwah islamiah semakin berat di Era Revolusi Industri 4.0 sekarang ini. Salah satu upaya yang bisa dilakukan ialah dengan memanfaatkan kecanggihan teknologi yang ada, terutama teknologi informasi. Hal ini bisa dilakukan dengan memberikan pelatihan pengurs/jamaah tentang penggunaan komputer, internet, atau media sosial lainnya untuk kepentingan masjid atau mendukung aktivitas dakwah yang berpusat di masjid.

Abstract

The major problem of this article is how Abdurrahman Wahid’s ideas on developing pesantren education. It is elaborated into major sub-problems, namely the pesantren existence in the political frame of the New Order in the decades of 1970s and 1980s, Abdurrahman Wahid’s view on pesantren, and on the framework of developing pesantren education. This research is designed as qualitative one using hermeneutic and content analysis approaches. The findings of this research show that the phenomena of inability of pesantren in facing the New Order power, the policies of non pro-pesantren regime, and political suppression and systematical marginalization to pesantren done by the New Order regime in the decades of 1970s and 1980s became the factors that opened the way for the emergence of pesantren educational development ideas. Meanwhile, the common manifestations of the stagnant and apprehensive pesantren conditions were the internal factors encountered by pesantren at that time. To change these pesantren conditions, innovative ideas, namely “pesantren dynamicization” was introduced.---Masalah utama tulisan ini adalah bagaimana gagasan Abdurrahman Wahid tentang pengembangan pendidikan pesantren. Hal ini diuraikan menjadi sub-masalah utama, yaitu keberadaan pesantren dalam kerangka politik Orde Baru dalam dekade 1970-an dan 1980an, pandangan Abdurrahman Wahid tentang pesantren, dan dalam rangka pengembangan pendidikan pesantren. Penelitian ini dirancang secara kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis hermeneutik dan isi. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fenomena ketidakmampuan pesantren dalam menghadapi kekuasaan Orde Baru, kebijakan rezim non pro-pesantren, dan penekanan politik dan marginalisasi sistemik terhadap pesantren yang dilakukan oleh rezim Orde Baru pada dekade 1970-an dan 1980 menjadi faktor yang membuka jalan bagi kemunculan gagasan pengembangan pendidikan pesantren. Sementara itu, manifestasi umum dari kondisi pesantren yang stagnan dan memprihatinkan adalah faktor internal yang dihadapi pesantren saat itu. Untuk mengubah kondisi pesantren ini, maka ide inovatif, yaitu “dinamika pesantren” diperkenalkan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the student’s character, the characteristics of the principal’s spiritual leadership, and the practice of applying the principal’s spiritual values in character education of students at SMK NU and SMK Muhammadiyah Kesesi, Pekalongan Regency. This research is descriptive qualitative research with a case study design that seeks to reveal facts and phenomena in detail and thoroughly. In this study, the researcher is the main data collection instrument. The main objects in this study were the principal and students at SMK NU Kesesi and SMK Muhammadiyah. Techniques to collect data using interviews, direct observation, documentation. The validity of the data is obtained by triangulation, continuous observation and re-checking the existing data. The researcher uses the analytical method developed by Miles and Huberman. The findings in this study are (1) There are differences in the characteristics of the headmaster’s spiritual leadership. The researcher identified several characteristics that emerged, including, Innovative and Religious-Nationalist Discipline for NU Kesesi Vocational School and Professional Discipline and Ambitious Responsibilities for Kesesi Muhammadiyah Vocational School; (2) Implementation of religious activities as a foundation for the spirituality of school residents was originally initiated by each headmasters. Both have strong religious backgrounds and environments. Therefore, it can implement character strengthening, habituation, moral knowing, moral feeling and loving, moral feeling, moral modelling, and repentance.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan manajemen keuangan dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam. Manajemen keuangan pendidikan merujuk pada proses profesional dan proporsional dalam mengatur pengelolaan keuangan yang diperuntukkan bagi program-program pelaksanaan operasional pendidikan. Manajemen keuangan merupakan bagian integral dari pengelolaan sekolah yang memiliki peran penting dalam menentukan jalannya kegiatan pendidikan di sekolah. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar dalam manajemen keuangan serta bagaimana penerapannya dalam konteks lembaga pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif dimana data diperoleh melalui penelitian perpustakaan yang bertujuan untuk memahami pesan yang terkandung dalam suatu teks. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa manajemen keuangan dalam pendidikan Islam melibatkan proses alokasi sumber daya untuk mendukung kegiatan operasional pendidikan, yang mencakup perencanaan pendanaan, implementasi anggaran pendidikan, serta pencatatan dan pemeriksaan atau pengawasan terhadap pengelolaan anggaran pendidikan. Tujuan utama dari manajemen keuangan pendidikan adalah penggunaan dana atau anggaran secara efisien dan efektif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan.

Abstract

Perencanaan begitu penting terlebih dalam dunia pendidikan apalagi pendidikan Islam. Dimana di dalamnya menyangkut nilai-nilai agama Islam yang akan disampaikan. Perencanaan adalah langkah awal dalam melakukan menejemen. Tujuan makalah ini adalah pendidikan Islam diberikan dengan perencanaan yang matang, sistematis, efektif dan efisien sehingga tepat sasaran dan dapat diamalkan dan diajarkan oleh semua pihak dengan baik. Makalah ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan metode penelitian studi kepustakaan (Library Research). Sumber data yang menjadi bahan akan penelitian ini berupa buku, jurnal dan situs internet yang terkait dengan topik yang telah dipilih.Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah dokumentasi, yaitu mencari data mengenai hal-hal atau variabel yang berupa catatan, buku, makalah atau artikel, jurnal dan sebagainya.Makalah ini membahas tentang konsep perencanaan, urgensi perencanaan, jenis-jenis perencanaan, cara menyusun perencanaan, prinsip-prinsip perencanaan, pelaksanaan rencana dan teori perencanaan. Kesimpulannya adalah perencanaan merupakan keseluruhan proses dan penentuan secara matang tentang hal-hal yang akan dikerjakan dimasa yang akan datang dalam rangka untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan yang sudah ditentukan

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (PKB) program in the Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023; to analyze the role of the madrasah head in supporting the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Regency in 2023. This study uses qualitative research with a type of phenomenology. The research subjects were in four MI, namely MI Islamiyah Yosorejo 01, MI Islamiyah Yosorejo 02, MI Islamiyah Kebondalem 01, and MI Islamiyah Kebondalem 02. Data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model which consists of data condensation, data presentation, and data verification. The results of the research show that the Continuing Professional Development Program (CPD) in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023 consists of self-development programs, scientific publications, and innovative work programs which can be categorized as low. Some of the obstacles found included inflexible time, lack of knowledge, lack of outreach, lack of mentoring and guidance, etc.; The role of the madrasa head in supporting the implementation of the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program in Teacher Working Group 016, Gringsing District, Batang Regency in 2023 includes the roles of educator, manager, administrator, supervisor, leader, innovator, and motivator.

Abstract

This article aims to study the management of relations between society and Islamic educational institutions through literature study. Data was collected through literature search from books, articles, and journals related to the research topic. In this study, several factors that influence the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions will be examined, such as openness and transparency in decision making, community participation in decision making, and the use of appropriate information and communication technology. The results showed that the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions is very important in strengthening the mutually supportive relationship between the community and Islamic educational institutions. Community participation in decision-making can strengthen the relationship between the community and Islamic educational institutions. In addition, the use of information and communication technology can facilitate the process of relationship management between the community and Islamic educational institutions. This research also shows that the management of relations between the community and Islamic educational institutions can improve the quality of education organized by Islamic educational institutions. With community support and participation, Islamic educational institutions can be more responsive to the needs and expectations of the community in providing quality Islamic education.

Abstract

This study attempts to analyze the model developed by public relations with Islamic educational institutions as the former Pekalongan Residency according to the perspective of Merdeka Learning by making Madrasah Aliyah as the object of research. This study is intended to find a model of public relations management with Islamic educational institutions at the MA level in the Merdeka Learning perspective that was developed, the strategies used in the development model of public relations management with Isla mic educational institutions in the Merdeka Learning perspective at the MA level, and the impact of the community relations development model on madrasas. The location of this research is Madrasah Aliyah, the former Pekalongan Residency, Central Java. The primary data of this research is a model of public relations development with Islamic educational institutions in Madrasah Aliyah. At the same time, the secondary data is the theoretical basis obtained through a literature review. This research is qualitative research with the type of field research. In comparison, the data collection techniques used interviews, observation, and documentation (triangulation) equipped with audio and visual. The data were analyzed using the descriptive-analytic method. The results showed that the model of developing public relations management with Islamic educational institutions at the MA level was two-way symmetrical, two-way asymmetrical, and general information. While the strategy used is more based on the use of media. One of the impacts of the public relations management development model is the increase in the quality of the madrasa.
