The Adiwiyata program, launched by the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, aims to create schools that care and cultivate the environment. The program not only focuses on implementing a green environment in schools, but also integrating environmental values into the learning process. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Adiwiyata program in realizing the character of environmental care in students at SD Negeri 15 Talang Ubi. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. In analyzing the data, researchers used Miles and Huberman data analysis, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the implementation of the Adiwiyata program at SD Negeri 15 Talang Ubi in realizing the environmental care character of students was carried out systematically by involving various school elements, such as teachers, students, and the surrounding community. The program includes waste management activities, reforestation, and integration of environmental materials in the curriculum. Students' active participation in various environmental activities also plays an important role in realizing the character of environmental care. In conclusion, the Adiwiyata program has successfully fostered the character of environmental care in students through a holistic and collaborative approach.

This study aims to analyze the strategic planning implemented in SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi to improve the quality of education and adaptation to changing times. The main focus of this study is the formulation of the vision, mission, objectives, and steps for implementing technology and character-based education strategies. In addition, this study also explores supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing strategies, including a SWOT analysis that includes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the school. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with an observation approach, interviews, and analysis of school documents. Data were obtained from various sources, including the principal, teachers, school committee, and strategic planning documents. The results of the study indicate that the strategic planning of SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi has been designed systematically through the evaluation of the vision and mission, preparation of medium and long-term plans, and implementation of periodic monitoring and evaluation. Implementing this strategy positively impacts improving the quality of learning, utilizing technology in education, and strengthening student character so that the school can transform into a superior and innovative educational institution. Through the School-Based Management (SBM) policy, principals—as policy makers at the school level—can optimize all available resources to create a more effective and efficient educational process, particularly in the aspects of planning, implementation, and evaluation. However, In parctice, many school principals are still unable to fully implement SBM, resulting in minimal changes in school conditions and management. Therefore, this study aims to examine the role of the principal in the implementation of SBM at SD Negeri 12 Talang Ubi. This research adopts a qualitative approach using a descriptive method. Data analysis was conducted in three stages: (1) data reduction, (2) data display, and (3) conclusion drawing. Based on findings in the field, the principal has carried out his role professionally in implementing SBM. The principal acts as a role model and motivator for both teaching and administrative staff, and has taken the initiative to propose building renovations and procurement of educational facilities and infrastructure. The researcher concludes that the principal has performed well in leadership, motivating teachers, and improving infrastructure during the SBM implementation. It is recommended that the principal continue to enhance his professionalism to strengthen public recognition and trust in the educational institution.

ABSTRACT This study aims to analyze the role of the Faith and Piety Program (IMTAQ) in character building of students at SD Negeri 10 Talang Ubi. Using a qualitative descriptive method, this study collected data through literature studies, observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The survey results showed that the implementation of the IMTAQ Program contributed to improving students' discipline, responsibility, and social attitudes. However, there are challenges in implementing the program, such as limited facilities and infrastructure and the need to increase parental and community involvement. This study recommends increasing support for facilities, teacher training, and periodic evaluations to optimize the effectiveness of the program. Democratic leadership in Islamic educational institutions is a crucial concept rooted in Islamic principles of deliberation, justice, and trustworthiness, aiming to foster inclusive, participatory environments and develop critical, responsible individuals. This study aims to analyze the foundational concepts, implementation mechanisms, opportunities, and challenges of Islamic-based democratic leadership in educational institutions. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method using a literature review approach, analyzing data from relevant academic sources. Findings indicate that democratic leadership is implemented through the active involvement of teachers and staff in deliberation processes, granting freedom of opinion, and upholding justice, which subsequently enhances teacher professionalism and establishes a healthy, harmonious organizational culture. Nevertheless, key challenges persist, including dominant authoritarian cultural aspects, rigid policies, and limitations in funding for staff training and necessary facilities. Comprehensive and sustainable strategies are essential to optimize these democratic Islamic values to achieve high-quality and competitive Islamic education.
