Abstract

Gamal (Gliricidia sepium (Jacq.) Kunth ex Walp.) is a plant leguminoceae class. So far, only gliricidia plants used as feed for ruminants, even though this plant has the potential as a source of nutrients for plants when used as an organic fertilizer. This study aims to determine the effect of Gliricidia leaves liquid organic fertilizer on plant growth mustard and determine the concentration of gliricidia leaves liquid organic fertilizer optimally to enhance the growth of mustard. This research was conducted at the Biology Laboratory of Biology education studies program teacher training and Tarbiyah Faculty UIN Raden Fatah Palembang from May to June 2015, while for the analysis of gliricidia leaves liquid organic fertilizer held in the Research and Standardization Industry Palembang. This study uses a completely randomized design (RAL) with 4 treatments and 3 replications. Such treatment is 0 (K0), 40 (K1), 80 (K2), and 120 (K3) ml/l of water. The analysis showed that in the gliricidia leaves liquid organic fertilizer contained 0.24% N, 0.039% P, 8.38% K, 12.4% C-organic. Parameters measured were plant height, number of leaves, and leaf width. The research showed that the gliricidia leaves liquid organic fertilizer a significant influence on the growth of mustard. The concentration of 120 ml/l of water provide optimum influence on the growth of mustard

Abstract

The background of this research stems from the researcher's interest in the privileges of zakat management institutions. The privilege is none other than that zakat management institutions are able to manage zakat effectively, especially in terms of maintaining the trust of the muzakki and are able to channel these funds through various programs, one of which is the Smart Sumsel program. Therefore, the researcher conducted a research entitled "Implementation of the One Family One Undergraduate Scholarship Program (SKSS) at BAZNAS, South Sumatra Province". This study aims to find out and analyze how the Implementation of the One Family One Undergraduate Scholarship Program is, as well as to determine the factors that influence the Implementation of the One Family One Undergraduate Scholarship Program (SKSS) at BAZNAS, South Sumatra Province. This study used descriptive qualitative method. Data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. Examination of the validity of the data is done by triangulation and combined with existing theory. Techniques of data analysis by means of data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of this study are: First, implementation is one element in management (management). Zakat management must be carried out optimally in order to achieve the goals/targets to be achieved as well as optimizing several programs that have been prepared and run at the BAZNAS institution of South Sumatra Province, one of which is the Smart Sumsel Program which is named SKSS. Second, the driving factor for the implementation of the SKSS scholarship at BAZNAS is one of the community's needs for a higher level of education because we already know that many children have had their education cut off due to low economic conditions. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor of this implementation is the lack of muzakki who have paid zakat at the BAZNAS Institution so that the process of distributing ZIS funds is also limited. This is because there is no law that penalizes wealthy people who do not pay zakat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh orang tua yang membiarkan anak usia 5-6 tahun bermain gadget tanpa pengawasan dan ingin mengetahui bagaimana perkembangan bahasa reseptif dan ekspresif anak setelah menggunakan gadget. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penggunaan gadget anak usia dini dan untuk mengetahui dampak penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan bahasa anak usia dini di Desa Tirtaharja Kecamatan Muara Sugihan. Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah fokus pada anak usia 5-6 tahun yang bermain gadget.Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa anak menjadi kecanduan bermain gadget dan anak tidak mampu mengerti beberapa perintah secara bersamaan, tidak mampu memahami aturan, tidak mampu mengulang kalimat sederhana, tidak mampu memahami beberapa kata sifat pujian, tidak mampu berekspresi, tidak mampu berkomunikasi secara lisan, dan tidak mampu menyusun kalimat. Dampak penggunaan gadget membuat perilaku anak menjadi berubah, seperti: malas, sulit di atur, sulit diajak bercakap-cakap, sulit bersosialisasi, mudah marah, mudah menyuruh tanpa mengucapkan kata tolong, susah berkonsentrasi.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan rahasia keberhasilan program Pendidikan sepanjang hayat di Finlandia dan dikomparasikan dengan sistem pendidikan di Indonesia. Finlandia punya salah satu sistem pendidikan dengan kinerja terbaik di dunia. Kesenjangan antara yang tertinggi dan terendah siswa di sekolah tidak signifikan. Banyak penelitian telah dilakukan oleh para peneliti dari berbagai negara untuk menyelidiki keberhasilan pendidikan Finlandia. Sebagai negara berkembang, Indonesia adalah salah satu negara OECD dengan skor terendah di PISA. Pendidikan Finlandia bisa menjadi teladan bagi Indonesia. Dimana mayoritas penduduk Indonesia adalah muslim maka adanya hubungan antara program belajar seumur hidup Finlandia dalam perspektif islam. Metode penulisan artikel ini adalah studi kepustakaan atau library research dimana penulis menggunakan referensi berupa buku, jurnal, dan youtube sebagai sumber informasi yang kemudian dianalisis untuk memperoleh data yang berhubungan dengan tujuan penelitian. Dari rumusan permasalahan ditemukan bahwa faktor yang paling mungkin terjadi sebagai elemen kunci yang memengaruhi keberhasilan pendidikan Finlandia adalah guru yang luar biasa, dan kurikulum dan sistem pendidikan yang sesuai. Pendidikan juga lah yang membantu Finlandia keluar dari keterpurukan sebagai negara miskin.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the concept of educator character according to K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and Parker J. Palmer and its relevance in the Merdeka Curriculum in Indonesia, including several aspects, namely the character of educators from the perspectives of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and Parker J. Palmer, this study examines the comparison and integration of the ideas of two prominent figures and explores their relevance within the framework of the Merdeka Curriculum. The research employs a qualitative methodology, utilizing a literature review approach, with data sourced from the writings of these figures alongside additional supporting references. The data collected were analyzed through content analysis, comparative analysis, and thematic analysis to draw conclusions regarding the educator characteristics proposed by K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and Parker J. Palmer, as well as their relevance to the Merdeka Curriculum. The findings revealed that the perspectives of K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari and Parker J. Palmer on educator character present distinct yet mutually complementary approaches to education. The concept of Mu'allim al-Fadhil from K.H. Hasyim Asy'ari emphasizes moral integrity, spiritual leadership, and Islamic values such as compassion, manners, and social responsibility. Meanwhile, Parker J. Palmer emphasizes authenticity, meaningful relationships, and emotional and spiritual intelligence in the concept of The Authentic and Relational Educator (ARE). Both approaches are relevant to the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on holistic learning, character development, and value-based personal facilitation to create a competent and virtuous generation.

Abstract

Character, known in Islam as morals, is an embedded trait in the human soul that spontaneously influences a person's attitudes, actions and behavior, whether towards good or bad. In the modern context, Muslims face global challenges, both internal in the form of backwardness in the education, political and economic sectors, and external in the form of negative accusations such as terrorism and anti-progress. Muslim youth, including mahasantri, have a strategic role as guardians of good religious values in society. However, strengthening the character of mahasantri is a necessity to face the challenges of shifting values in the era of globalization, especially in counteracting radicalism and intolerance. Character education, through a community-based approach, is an effective method to internalize good values in the mahasantri. One important effort in this context is through the Ta'limul Lail activity at Ma'had Al-Jami'ah, which is designed to deepen religious understanding, form positive habits, and improve noble morals. This activity not only has an impact on strengthening individual character, but also on the role of mahasantri as role models in society. Thus, Ta'limul Lail can be a strategic solution in shaping the character of mahasantri who are superior, religious, and contribute positively to the surrounding environment

Abstract

This community service is carried out at STIT Muara Enim in the form of a workshop, which aims to increase students' understanding of scientific research methodology. The target to be achieved through this activity is to increase the skills of STIT Muara Enim students in compiling thesis writing, as a student's final project. The implementation of the workshop is divided into four stages, namely: 1) the preparation stage, 2) the implementation stage, 3) the evaluation stage, and 4) the reporting stage. This activity went well and smoothly in accordance with the stages arranged in the schedule for the implementation of the activity. This can be seen from the achievement of the training objectives and enthusiasm, as well as the activeness of the participants in the workshop activities. The results achieved through this workshop are very significant towards increasing the understanding of STIT Muara Enim students towards the methodology of writing scientific papers, which positively indicates an improvement in student skills in compiling thesis writing. The results of the evaluation of this activity show that there are several factors that support the implementation of the activity, namely: 1) the existence of good cooperation and full support from partners related to the provision of facilities and infrastructure; 2) the existence of procedures in the implementation of workshop activities; and 3) the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the workshop activities. In addition to these supporting factors, there are also factors that hinder the implementation of activities, namely limited activity time that cannot satisfy all participants present. Abstrak Pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini dilaksankan di STIT Muara Enim dalam bentuk workshop, yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa tentang metodologi penelitian ilmiah. Target yang ingin dicapai melalui kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya keterampilan mahasiswa STIT Muara Enim dalam menyusun penulisan skripsi, sebagai tugas akhir mahasiswa. Pelaksanaan workshop dibagi dalam empat tahap, yaitu: 1) tahap persiapan, 2) tahap pelaksanaan, 3) tahap evaluasi, dan 4) tahap pelaporan. Kegiatan ini berjalan dengan baik dan lancar sesuai dengan tahapan-tahapan yang disusun dalam jadwal pelaksanaan kegiatan tersebut. Hal ini terlihat dari ketercapaian terhadap tujuan pelatihan dan antusiasme, serta keaktifan peserta dalam kegiatan workshop. Hasil evaluasi terhadap kegiatan ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat beberapa faktor yang mendukung terlaksananya kegiatan, yaitu: 1) adanya kerja sama yang baik dan dukungan penuh dari mitra terkait penyediaan sarana dan prasarana; 2) adanya prosedur dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan workshop; dan 3) antusiasme peserta dalam mengikuti kegiatan workshop. Di samping faktor pendukung tersebut, terdapat juga faktor penghambat pelaksanaan kegiatan, yaitu keterbatasan waktu kegiatan yang tidak dapat memuaskan semua peserta yang hadir. Hasil yang dicapai melalui workshop ini sangat signifikan terhadap peningkatan pemahaman mahasiswa STIT Muara Enim terhadap metodologi penulisan karya ilmiah, yang secara positif berindikasi pada peningkatan keterampilan mahasiswa dalam menyusun penulisan skripsi.

Abstract

This research aims to understand religion through its evolving practices within society, utilizing an anthropological approach. The primary objectives of this study are to explore and analyze three aspects: a profound understanding of the anthropological approach in Islamic studies in terms of etymology and terminology, the analysis of methods, techniques, and research steps using an anthropological approach, and a comprehensive examination of research outcomes employing anthropological approaches in Islamic studies. This research adopts the library research method, collecting literature data from 10 books and 10 journals relevant to the research topic. The results of this study involve an in-depth analysis of various anthropological approaches applied in Islamic studies.The anthropological approach in Islamic studies represents a profound and intricate method for understanding Islam within the context of human social and cultural dynamics. By considering various anthropological paradigms, researchers can explore the diversity of religious practices, analyze symbolic meanings, understand social interactions, and investigate conflicts that arise within Muslim communities. Through holistic, micro, semiotic, comparative, and behavioristic approaches, anthropological research in Islamic studies opens doors to comprehend the complex and often contradictory dynamics in the lives of Muslims. Consequently, this research not only provides deep insights into Islam as a religion but also into humans as complex social and cultural beings. By understanding Islam through the lens of anthropology, we can respond to global and local challenges with a more profound and contextual understanding of the values, beliefs, and religious practices of Muslims worldwide.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategic planning implemented in SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi to improve the quality of education and adaptation to changing times. The main focus of this study is the formulation of the vision, mission, objectives, and steps for implementing technology and character-based education strategies. In addition, this study also explores supporting and inhibiting factors in implementing strategies, including a SWOT analysis that includes the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats faced by the school. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative with an observation approach, interviews, and analysis of school documents. Data were obtained from various sources, including the principal, teachers, school committee, and strategic planning documents. The results of the study indicate that the strategic planning of SD Negeri 7 Talang Ubi has been designed systematically through the evaluation of the vision and mission, preparation of medium and long-term plans, and implementation of periodic monitoring and evaluation. Implementing this strategy positively impacts improving the quality of learning, utilizing technology in education, and strengthening student character so that the school can transform into a superior and innovative educational institution. Abstract

Abstract Educational planning is a crucial element in achieving optimal quality of education. This study aims to explain the history and background of the importance of planning in the world of education, as well as the factors that encourage the need for adaptive educational planning that is relevant to the development of the times. Educational planning is not only about formulating goals and strategies, but also includes an understanding of social, economic, political, and technological developments. Over the course of history, educational planning has evolved from being simple in early civilizations to becoming a structured and complex system. Various theories and approaches in educational planning have also changed to adapt to the demands of globalization and technological advances. This article reviews various perspectives from experts and emphasizes the importance of understanding the historical context in designing effective educational planning. Thus, mature educational planning can support the achievement of better educational goals, as well as ensure inclusive and sustainable education in the future. This study also offers suggestions for improving the quality of educational planning to be more responsive to changes and community needs. Keywords: History, Background, Educational Planning
