Abstract

This study analyzes language disorders in individuals with cleft lip and palate from a phonological perspective, using a case study of the TikTok account @orangkampungatm2 in the context of the Sundanese language. A qualitative narrative approach was used as the methodological framework, with data collection through observation and note-taking of videos uploaded by the subject of the study. The analysis results show that the cleft condition affects the individual's phonetic abilities, particularly in the articulation of bilabial, nasal, and fricative sounds in Sundanese. These sound distortions are caused by the subject's inability to fully close their lips due to the cleft in the lip area. Furthermore, cleft lip and palate also impact suprasegmental aspects such as intonation and prosody (stress). These findings highlight the linguistic challenges faced by individuals with cleft lip and palate and the role of social media in raising public awareness of linguistic diversity. This research provides a detailed overview of the phonetic characteristics of speech in individuals with cleft palate in the Sundanese language, while also demonstrating how social media can serve as a valuable data source for clinical linguistic studies

Abstract

Makanan dan minuman menjadi hal yang tidak asing bagi konsumen beragama islam dan menjadi salah satu isu rentan dalam masyarakat. Pasalnya orang-orang tidak tahu apakah makanan tersebut layak untuk dikonsumsi. Tujuan penulisan artikel ini adalah agar pembaca mengetahui makanan dan minuman yang layak dan tidak layak dikonsumsi dan implikasinya terhadap kesehatan. Metode yang penulis gunakan adalah deskriptif, kualitatif, dan kuantitatif. Pada artikel ini penulis memaparkan seputar konsumsian cepat saji serta menyinggung perbedaan konsumsian halal dan haram. Makanan halal adalah makanan yang sesuai diajarkan dalam syariat Islam yaitu halalan thayyiban (halal dan baik) setiap makanan halal pasti akan baik namun sebaliknya makanan yang baik belum tentu halal, maka dari itu agar umat Islam terhindar dari makanan yang haram, maka seharusnya umat Islam selalu menghadirkan makanan yang halal. Selain itu, penulis juga memaparkan data-data terkait penyakit serta bahaya yang terdapat pada makanan dan minuman yang membahayakan bagi tubuh. Dalam studi makanan halal, tidak semua makanan itu baik seperti ayam KFC, Rocket Chicken; Gacoan; Mixue makanan yang tidak banyak mengandung gizi makanan tersebut halal untuk dikonsumsi namun tidak boleh tercekik dan diterkam oleh binatang buas, berlebihan agar tidak menyebabkan penyakit. Selain itu, dalam hal minuman juga tidak boleh meminum sejenis khamr, dengan terlalu banyak mengonsumsi khamr maka akan menimbulkan kemadharatan baik agama maupun fisiknya

Abstract

This study aims to develop a popular scientific article teaching book based on a contextual approach for eighth-grade students. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the 4D model, limited to the development stage. The research subjects involve teachers and eighth-grade students from MTs Negeri 1 Kota Magelang, with feasibility assessments conducted by two subject matter experts and two media experts. Data analysis used quantitative descriptive techniques through the calculation of the average expert validation score, supported by qualitative analysis of improvement suggestions. The results show that the developed textbook received a 'highly suitable' category, with scores of 95.3% from subject matter experts and 96.6% from media experts, resulting in an overall average of 95.9%. Therefore, the textbook is deemed highly suitable for use as a learning support tool for popular scientific article texts in junior high schools/MTs.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mental health status of Generation Z in Magelang City based on the intensity of social media use. The research method used was quantitative descriptive with 50 respondents aged 15-24 years selected through purposive sampling. The research instruments included a questionnaire on the intensity of social media use and a mental health questionnaire. The data were analysed using frequency distribution and percentages. The results showed that 46% of respondents used social media for more than 4 hours per day, with Instagram and TikTok as the dominant platforms. Mental health conditions showed that 46% of respondents were in the poor category, 44% experienced high anxiety, and 40% had low positive emotions. There was a pattern of tendency that the higher the intensity of social media use, the worse the mental health condition of the respondents. The study recommended comprehensive interventions through digital literacy programmes, counselling services, and policies that support the psychological well-being of Generation Z.

Abstract

Program Lokakarya Kepenulisan Puisi merupakan upaya untuk mengatasi permasalahan rendahnya minat menulis kreatif dan apresiasi sastra di kalangan siswa MTsN 1 Kota Magelang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Participatory Action Research (PAR) dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VII dan VIII sebagai subjek sekaligus partisipan aktif. Pelaksanaan program terdiri dari lima tahapan sistematis yaitu pengajuan proposal, perencanaan, pelaksanaan seminar, evaluasi, dan pelaporan hasil. Kegiatan utama berupa seminar kepenulisan puisi yang menghadirkan Rahma Ade Triana, Duta Bahasa Jawa Tengah, sebagai narasumber yang menyampaikan materi komprehensif mengenai teknik penulisan puisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan antusiasme dan pemahaman siswa terhadap literasi kreatif, yang tercermin dari aktifnya partisipasi dalam diskusi dan tanya jawab. Program ini berhasil memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap pengembangan budaya literasi di lingkungan sekolah dan dapat menjadi model untuk implementasi program serupa di institusi pendidikan lainnya.

Abstract

Corn husk waste, which is abundant in agricultural areas, is often discarded or burned, causing environmental problems such as air pollution and soil fertility degradation. This study aims to analyze the development and implementation process of corn husk–based handicraft products as a form of green entrepreneurship that supports the green economy and sustainable development. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study method, collecting data through self-reflection, documentation, interviews with consumers, field observations, and literature review. Data were analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis, SWOT analysis, and business performance analysis with triangulation techniques to ensure data validity. The findings show that corn husk waste can be processed into shopping bags and tissue box holders through a series of stages: collection, cleaning, drying, cutting, weaving, and finishing. The products are sold at prices of IDR 75,000 for shopping bags and IDR 45,000 for tissue holders, marketed both online and offline to local communities with positive consumer responses. The business, which has been running for three months, produces around 20 units per month with fluctuating sales levels but demonstrates promising economic feasibility. The main challenge lies in the weaving process, which requires specific craftsmanship skills. This enterprise provides positive impacts, including reducing agricultural waste, preventing air pollution, creating new economic opportunities, and preserving traditional weaving skills. The study concludes that the development of corn husk–based products represents an effective model of green entrepreneurship that integrates economic, environmental, and social values, contributing to the achievement of sustainable development goals.
