Abstract

Abstract

This study provides a comprehensive analysis of the implementation of PBL into the learning of yellow books at PMDG Campus 4. The focus of the study includes the impact of PBL and pedagogical innovation in Islamic boarding schools, as well as potential challenges and effective implementation strategies. This study uses a case study method with a qualitative approach, where data is collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The research subjects consisted of teachers, grade XI students, and the implementing committee involved in the learning program. The results of the study indicate that the Panca Jiwa PMDG is aligned with the student-centred PBL approach, and the core principles of PBL can be applied, yielding potential benefits in the learning of yellow books. The program implementation includes constructive, collaborative, contextual and independent learning. The findings of this study indicate that the PBL model approach can not only deepen students' contextual understanding, but also develop 21st-century skills to face contemporary challenges by upholding Islamic values. Thus, the right and accurate strategy reduces the challenges faced in implementing the PBL model in the learning of yellow books.

Abstract

This article examines various forms of religious education programs for Junior High School (SMP) students and analyzes their alignment with psychological and spiritual developmental stages in early adolescence. Employing a literature review approach, this study explores theories of faith development (James W. Fowler), cognitive development (Jean Piaget), and moral development (Lawrence Kohlberg), alongside key concepts in Islamic education such as fitrah, taklīf, and ta’dīb. The findings indicate that religious programs in SMP generally encompass daily worship habituation, spiritual mentoring, collective religious activities, the integration of spiritual values across subjects, and project-based reflective activities. The effectiveness of these programs heavily relies on the alignment between program design and students' developmental characteristics. Ritualistic and collective approaches assist in building routines and social identity, whereas reflective and dialogical approaches foster deeper spiritual awareness. Challenges encountered include limited time, teacher preparedness, student interest, and the consistency of school culture.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Student Worksheets (LKPD) in Fiqh learning at Al Huda Private Elementary School (MIS), Haurwangi, Cianjur, West Java, as an effort to overcome conventional teaching methods and limitations of learning media. The study used a qualitative case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using thematic analysis techniques. The results of the study indicate that the use of structured LKPD can transform Fiqh learning into a more interactive, contextual, and student-centered one, so that students' conceptual understanding and practical skills significantly improve. The implications of this study confirm that LKPD can be an effective, innovative learning medium to bridge the gap between theory and practice in students' daily lives. The originality of this study lies in its focus on practical innovations in Fiqh learning at the elementary school level, while also providing a reference model for educators in designing more engaging and effective teaching materials.

Abstract

This study evaluates the effectiveness of religious development programs at SMK Al-Azhar Batam in fostering students' spiritual awareness using the framework of religious dimensions. The primary aim is to assess how these structured programs instill spiritual consciousness, ensuring students internalize and practice Islamic values as intrinsic daily elements. This research addresses a gap in prior studies that focused mainly on discipline and autonomy. Employing a qualitative field research approach with descriptive methods, the study focused on students and program coordinators at SMK Al-Azhar Batam as subjects. Primary data were collected through semi-structured interviews with teachers or coordinators and direct observations during religious activities. Data analysis followed Miles and Huberman's model. Findings indicate that programs (communal prayers, Quranic recitations, public speaking) successfully embedded key religious dimensions like belief, ritual, and moral practice in students' spiritual habits. However, critical challenges were identified: limitations in consistent evaluation and follow-through. The study recommends systematic evaluations and enhanced program designs to maximize impact on spiritual consciousness. The original contribution lies in the comprehensive application of religious dimensions to evaluate educational outcomes.
