Abstract

Abstract : A seminar is a specific way to discuss particular topics that can be organized by various institutions. More than just expanding professional networks, seminars also provide a deeper understanding of various relevant topics. However, the success of a seminar not only depends on participant attendance but also on quality management. Seminar management, including strategies, becomes a crucial foundation to ensure the smoothness of the event, its usefulness, and the achievement of desired goals. The organization of educational seminars can be one of the strategies used by school principals to improve teacher performance. The purpose of this study is to examine the leadership strategies of school principals in improving teacher performance through educational seminar activities. The research method utilized in this study is meta-analysis. The research findings indicate that school principals need to implement several important strategies to improve teacher performance through seminars. These strategies include thorough planning to align seminar activities with the professional development needs of teachers and the applicable curriculum, as well as facilitating seminars by providing the necessary support and resources.Abstrak : Seminar merupakan cara khusus untuk membahas topik tertentu yang bisa diselenggarakan oleh berbagai lembaga. Lebih dari sekadar memperluas jaringan profesional, seminar juga memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang beragam topik yang relevan. Namun, keberhasilan sebuah seminar tidak hanya tergantung pada kehadiran peserta, melainkan juga pada manajemen yang berkualitas. Manajemen seminar termasuk strategi menjadi landasan penting untuk memastikan kelancaran acara, kebermanfaatan, dan pencapaian tujuan yang diinginkan. Penyelenggaraan seminar pendidikan dapat menjadi salah satu strategi yang digunakan oleh kepala sekolah untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru.  Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menelaah strategi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui kegiatan seminar pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang dimanfaatkan di dalam penelitian ini adalah meta-analisis. Hasil penelitian menyatakan bahwa kepala sekolah perlu mengimplementasikan beberapa strategi penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru melalui kegiatan seminar. Strategi ini meliputi perencanaan yang matang untuk menyesuaikan kegiatan seminar dengan kebutuhan pengembangan profesional guru dan kurikulum yang berlaku, serta memfasilitasi kegiatan seminar dengan menyediakan dukungan dan sumber daya yang diperlukan.

Abstract

Abstract This research was conducted with school principals, vice principals or curriculum vice principals, and several teachers at SMKN 1 Sei Menggaris, Kab. Nunukan. This study used interview guidelines to analyze the data. The data analysis used was qualitative data analysis, which summarized the interview findings. Overall, we can say that we are ready to understand the characteristics and structure of the curriculum, develop lesson plans, and plan the implementation of teaching. The interview results correspond to the six indicators. However, there are shortcomings that need to be addressed, such as the readiness of instructional materials and modules, the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, and the readiness of assessment planning in teaching the independent curriculum. The purpose of this research is to determine the readiness of schools, especially in 3T schools (Frontier, Lagging, and Outermost), namely SMKN 1 Sei Menggaris. It is hoped that from the results of this research, schools can address issues that have not been well prepared and enable the independent curriculum at SMKN 1 Sei Menggaris to run optimally.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi utama dalam membangun suatu bangsa. Filosofi pendidikan memainkan peran penting dalam membentuk landasan, tujuan, dan metode pendidikan. Tokoh yang sangat terkenal di Indonesia adalah Ki Hajar Dewantara yang sangat berkontribusi dalam mengembangkan pendidikan. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk melakukan tinjauan metaanalisis atas dasar filosofis pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara yang telah memengaruhi pendidikan di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode meta analisis untuk merangkum dan mengurai filosofi pendidikan Ki Hajar Dewantara dari berbagai artikel. Metode metaanalisis pada penelitian ini menggunakan langkah-langkah identifikasi, evaluasi, dan juga intepretasi penelitian-penelitian yang telah dilakukan sebelumnya dan yang relevan. Dari data-data tersebut ditarik kesimpulan sehingga menghasilkan data dengan cakupan pembahasan yang lebih luas. Analisis ini dilakukan dengan cara deskriptif kualitatif, dan disesuaikan dengan tujuan penelitian. Hasil dari tinjauan penelitian ini akan memberikan pemahaman yang lebih dalam tentang nilai-nilai dan prinsip-prinsip pendidikan yang dianut oleh Ki Hajar Dewantara dan bagaimana kontribusinya telah membentuk pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Islamic education in senior high schools (SMA) has a strategic role in shaping the character of the younger generation who are not only intellectually intelligent, but also have strong morals and ethics. Islamic education curriculum management is an important instrument in achieving this goal. This study aims to examine the strategies used by teachers in creating interactive learning that is relevant to students’ daily lives. This research focuses on the optimization of Islamic education curriculum management at SMAN 1 Malang, which is one of the leading schools in Malang City. Using qualitative research methods, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The collected data were analyzed interactively through three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that SMAN 1 Malang has successfully optimized the management of Islamic education curriculum through various comprehensive strategies. Among others, strengthening teacher competence, applying active learning methods, using technology in learning, and developing student character. By overcoming various challenges that arise, SMAN 1 Malang is able to improve the quality of Islamic education learning significantly. This finding shows that the strategy applied at SMAN 1 Malang can be used as an example for other schools in an effort to optimize the management of Islamic education curriculum in order to produce a generation that is academically superior, has character, and is ready to face challenges.
