Abstract

Abstract: The activity of Program Ipteks bagi Masyarakat (IbM) aims to develop junior high one roof school (Ngenep and Klampok) to carry out activities independently. Especially in developing: learning programs, teaching methods, learning practices and models of local content. Achievement of this goal, done with focus groups discussions (FGD), observation, training and workshops, and mentoring. FGD to agree on the type of local content and the teaching of life skills students are selected. Training, worshop and mentoring to develop and apply life skills in the chosen local content. Field observations to identify the dominant factors and constraints of the school. The results of the action studies of the follow shows: (1) two types of life skills in sewing and cooking are selected and developed by junior high one Roof school in Ngenep, Karangploso and Klampok, Singosari Districts of Malang Regency; and (2) two selected skills and further developed as a flagship pro-gram, according to the results needs assessment a reasonable completion of 9 years, and craft lesson (local content) in the Curriculum 2013, the sub-field of handicraft and processing.Keywords: life skills, learning process, local content, junior one roof school, remote areasAbstrak: Kegiatan Program Ipteks bagi Masyarakat (IbM) bertujuan mengembangkan SMP satu atap (SMP Satap Ngenep dan SMP Satap Klampok) dapat melaksanakan kegiatan secara mandiri. Terutama dalam mengembangkan: program pembelajaran, metode pembel-ajaran, dan model praktik pembelajaran muatan lokal. Pencapaian tujuan ini, dilakukan dengan focus groups discussion (FGD), observasi lapangan, pelatihan dan workshop, serta pendampingan. FGD untuk menyepakati jenis matapel-ajaran muatan lokal dan life skills siswa yang dipilih. pelatihan, worshop dan pendampingan untuk mengembangkan dan mengaplikasikan life skills terpilih dalam muatan lokal. Observasi lapangan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor dominan dan kendala sekolah. Hasil kaji tindak menunjukkan: (1) dua jenis life skills menjahit dan memasak dipilih dan dikembangkan oleh SMP Satu Atap Ngenep Karangploso dan SMP Satu Atap Klampok Kecamatan Singosari Kabupaten Malang; dan (2) dua keterampilan terpilih dan dikembangkan lebih lanjut sebagai program unggulan, sesuai hasil analisis kebutuhan penuntasan wajar 9 tahun, dan matapelajaran prakarya (muatan lokal) dalam kurikulum 2013, dengan subbidang kerajinan dan pengolahan.Kata kunci: daerah terpencil, life skills, muatan lokal, pembelajaran, SMP satu atap

Abstract

Abstract: Management of effective learning aspects will encourage students to participate actively during the learning process. There is no appropriate learning strategy for all learning materials and situations as well as supporting the achievement of learning objectives. Teacher variation in applying learning strategy becomes important thing done in learning activity. The target audience for the implementation of innovative learning strategies in the implementation of Curriculum 2013 are the teachers of Private Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta / MIS) Lowokwaru Malang. Activities will be held in one of the MI Al Fattah classrooms, with a target audience of 17 teachers. The method used is varied discourse and practice (peer teaching). The results of this mentoring activities include several components, namely: (1) the success of the target number of mentoring participants in attendance were 17 teachers (85%) of the total invited as many as 20 teachers; (2) the achievement of the material targets given to the mentoring participants, and also additional knowledge on the implementation of lesson study for teachers; and (3) outcome achievement of mentoring activities, namely lesson plan (RPP) based on cooperative learning model compiled by teacher and display video of teacher teaching in implementing learning activities by applying cooperative learning model.Keywords: mentoring, learning strategy, Curriculum 2013Abstrak: Pengelolaan aspek pembelajaran yang efektif akan mendorong siswa berpartisipasi secara aktif pada saat proses pembelajaran. Tidak ada strategi pembelajaran yang tepat untuk semua materi dan situasi pembelajaran serta menunjang ketercapaian tujuan pembelajaran. Variasi guru dalam menerapkan strategi pembelajaran menjadi hal yang penting dilakukan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Khalayak sasaran kegiatan pendampingan penerapan strategi pembelajaran inovatif dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013 ini adalah para guru MIS Kecamatan Lowokwaru Kota Malang. Kegiatan akan dilaksanakan di salah satu ruang kelas MI Al Fattah, dengan jumlah khalayak sasaran adalah 17 orang guru. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah bervariasi dan praktik (peer teaching). Hasil kegiatan pendampingan ini mencakup beberapa komponen, yaitu: (1) keberhasilan target jumlah peserta pendampingan yang hadir yakni 17 orang guru (85%) dari total yang diundang sebanyak 20 orang guru; (2) ketercapaian target materi yang diberikan kepada peserta pendampingan, dan juga ada tambahan pengetahuan tentang implementasi lesson study bagi guru; dan (3) ketercapaian luaran kegiatan pendampingan, yakni RPP berbasis model pembelajaran kooperatif yang disusun oleh guru dan video tampilan mengajar guru dalam melaksanakan kegiatan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif.Kata kunci: pendampingan, strategi pembelajaran, Kurikulum 2013

Abstract

Education currently occupies a very important position in human development. The quality of the Finnish educational system is interesting to study because its success has been recognized worldwide. This study provides an overview of the comparison of the education systems of the countries of Indonesia and Finnish. The method used in this study is literature study. The results of the study show several differences, (1) Indonesia's educational system is colored by many competitions while Finnish puts forward the principle of equality; (2) Indonesia has a system of failing a grade and student ranking, Finnish has?nt failing a grade and ranking system; (3) Indonesia load learning every week +/- 40 hours, Finnish lessons +/- 30 hours per week; (4) Indonesia learns a lot in class, Finnish puts forward problem solving methods; (5) Indonesia assignments almost become a routine agenda every face to face, Finnish does not burden students with a lot of tasks, (6) Indonesia minimum teacher qualifications D4, Finnish minimum teacher qualifications S2 (Master), (7) Indonesian qualifications students enter basic education for at least 6 years (5.5 years accompanied by written recommendations from professional psychologists), Finnish qualifications for students entering basic education for at least 7 years.

Abstract

Abstract: The objective of the research is to find personal and spiritual values in the leadership behavior of school personnel that can increase the attractiveness of madrasas. This study used a multi-site approach, with data sources using purposive sampling and snowball sampling. Data collection techniques using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis by describing data, collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions and analyzing data across sites. The results in this study found that the personal value of school personnel that can increase the attractiveness of madrasah is the value of caring, sympathy. the ability to work together, the value of trust and humility. while the spiritual values of school personnel that can increase the attractiveness of madrasas are the values of kindness, empathy, integrity, encouraging hope and belief in the standard of excellence and the value of integrity.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menemukan nilai-nilai personal dan spiritual dalam perilaku kepemimpinan personil sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan multi situs, dengan sumber data menggunakan purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan mendeskripsikan data, mengumpulkan data, mereduksi data, menyajikan data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan serta analisis data lintas situs. Hasil dalam penelitian ini menemukan nilai personal personil sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik madrasah adalah nilai kepedulian, simpatik. kemampuan bekerja sama, nilai kepercayaan dan kerendahan hati. sedangkan nilai spiritual personil sekolah yang dapat meningkatkan daya tarik madrasah adalah nilai kebaikan, empati, integritas, mendorong harapan dan keyakinan pada standar keunggulan dan nilai integritas.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this study is to find the values of character education that are instilled through the extracurricular Kitab kuning, to find management and strategies for character education through the extracurricular Kitab kuning, and to find out the challenges and opportunities for the success of character education through extracurricular Kitab kuning in two Islamic-based schools, namely Man 2 Rembnag and MA Al-Anwar Sarang who have a different vision and mission by using a qualitative approach with a multi-site design. Data collection techniques in this study were interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are there are differences and similarities regarding the values of character education that are implanted. Finding differences in management and strategy through the yellow book extracurricular, as well as finding the challenges and opportunities for success in character education through the yellow book extracurricular.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menemukan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter yang ditanamkan melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, untuk menemukan manajemen dan strategi pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, serta mengetahui tantangan dan peluang keberhasilan pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning di dua sekolah berbasis Islam yaitu Man 2 Rembnag dan MA Al-Anwar Sarang yang memiliki visi misi berbeda dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain multi-situs. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan dan persamaan mengenai nilai-nilai pendidikan karakater yang ditanamkan. Menemukan perbedaan manajemen dan strategi melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning, serta menemukan tantantangan dan peluang keberhasilan pendidikan karakter melalui ekstrakurikuler kitab kuning.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know: (1) environmental school culture in independent adiwiyata school, that is school culture activity with environment insight and organizing school culture with environment insight; (2) to identify the values contained in an environmentally sound school culture at independent school; and (3) to describe the effort of preserving environmental school culture in independent adiwiyata school. This research uses qualitative approach. The research was conducted in two schools namely SMK Negeri 1 Turen and SMK Negeri 1 Malang. Data sources include principals, teachers, adiwiyata coordinators, and students. The data collection procedure used is observation, interview, and documentation. Data analysis used is data analysis in site and cross-site data analysis. The results show that schools have implemented an environmentally sound school culture that is shown by the existence of a school policy, curriculum, activity, and infrastructure that support school culture. Organizing in an environmentally sound school culture is indicated by a division of tasks, socialization, and implementation of activities, and the presence of monitoring and evaluation. The values contained in an environmentally sound school culture that is the value of environmental care, the value of environmental love, and the value of achievement spirit. The preservation is done by carrying out all the activities that have been there before. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: (1) budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan pada sekolah adiwiyata mandiri, yaitu kegiatan budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan dan pengorganisasian budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan; (2) mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan pada sekolah adiwiyata mandiri; dan (3) mendeskripsikan upaya pelestarian budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan pada sekolah adiwiyata mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian dilaksanakan di dua sekolah yaitu SMK Negeri 1 Turen dan SMK Negeri 1 Malang. Sumber data yaitu kepala sekolah, guru, koordinator adiwiyata, dan siswa. Prosedur pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu analisis data dalam situs dan analisis data lintas situs. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sekolah telah mengimplementasikan budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan yang ditunjukkan dengan adanya suatu kebijakan, kurikulum, kegiatan, dan sarana prasarana sekolah yang mendukung budaya sekolah. Pengorganisasian dalam budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan ditunjukkan dengan adanya suatu pembagian tugas, sosialisasi, dan pelaksanaan kegiatan, serta adanya monitoring dan evaluasi. Nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam budaya sekolah berwawasan lingkungan yaitu nilai peduli lingkungan, nilai cinta lingkungan, dan nilai semangat berprestasi. Pelestarian tersebut dilakukan dengan cara melaksanakan seluruh kegiatan yang telah ada sebelumnya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui landasan antropologi pendidikan dan implikasinya terhadap pembangunan nasional Indonesia. Artikel ini disusun menggunakan pendekatan studi kajian literatur, dimulai dari mengkaji teori-teori yang relevan dengan landasan antropologi dalam pendidikan, kemudiaan dilakukan telaah. Berdasarkan kajian yang dilakukan, diketahui bahwa para antropolog memainkan peran penting dalam membangun suatu negara, kajian-kajian para antropolog digunakan sebagai landasan bagi pemerintah dalam mengambil suatu kebijakan-kebijakan pembangunan khusunya dalam pembangunan bidang pendidikan, pentingnya latar sosial antropologi diwujudkan dalam landasan pendidikan di Indonesia ini agar tidak terjadinya konflik dan ketimpangan sosial dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract: Synchronization of the Potential of Industrial World with School Profiles Vocational to Improve Quality and Capability Graduates of Vocational Schools in Indonesia. This study aims to map: (1) the potential of the business and industry that has the opportunity to collaborate with vocational fields; (2) profile of vocational field school (SMK) business in improving the quality of education; and (3) synchronizing the potential of the industrial world with the business profile of the SMK. This re­search was conducted using qualitative methods. The research location was centered in the East Java region with samples divided into three regions, namely the northern region, the southern region, and the eastern region. This study reveals that: (1) the industrial world has the opportunity to establish coopera­tion with vocational schools, namely the handicraft industry, food processing, creative arts, engineering technology, processed seafood, and materials; (2) priority programs for Vocational Schools in East Java include: improvement in special expertise, school-based enterprise programs, demand-market-driven programs, hands on experience programs, production based education programs, on-the-job teacher training programs, on the job programs student training, classical indoor and outdoor programs, training to be entrepreneur programs, and center test recruitment programs; and (3) synchronizing the map of the potential of the industrial world that has the opportunity to establish cooperation with vocational schools with a profile of Vocational Schools is very necessary because it can improve the quality and capability of vocational graduates.

Abstract

Gender and School Management: An Analysis of the System of Managerial Positions. It has been necessary to study gender issues continously since women dominated schools as teachers, especially in terms of their promotion for managerial positions. The main problem of women’s promotion is on the term gender itself, which is a stereotype resulted from a ‘masculine’ culture. Men and women are then perceived differently in their managerial positions: women face more obstacles than men. Some models which can be used to explain the obstacles are women position, discrepancy, and meritocracy models, in addition to the organization structure and the psychological view. In a study, the obstacles would not be apparent unless qualitative paradigm with micro-subjective scope were utilized. Therefore, employing a case study method for investigation would make it possible to reveal the obstacles faced by women more comprehensively.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) dalam melaksanakan wajib belajar dilihat dari komponen guru, sarana dan prasarana. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 44 sekolah/kepala sekolah dan 206 guru MI yang tersebar di wilayah kecamatan Singosari, Pujon, Bantur, dan Tajinan Kabupaten Malang. Data dikumpulkan dengan angket, wawancara dan observasi, dan hasilnya dianalisis dengan statistik rerata (mean).
