Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of cognitivism theory in learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) for fifth grade students of SDN 124 Palembang and evaluate its impact on improving conceptual understanding and internalization of religious values. The theory of cognitivism, which emphasizes the mental process of understanding, storing, and integrating new information, is used as the main theoretical framework in developing learning strategies. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the application of cognitivism-based learning strategies-such as elaboration of meaning, linking new concepts with students' experiences, and the use of visual media-contributed significantly to improving the understanding of PAI materials. In addition, this approach also encouraged students' active participation in reflective discussions and the strengthening of religious values in daily life. The findings indicate that the cognitivism approach can be an effective pedagogical alternative in learning PAI at the elementary school level. The implications of this study open up space for the development of learning models that are more contextual and oriented to students' thinking processes.

Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan fondasi bagi pembangunan suatu bangsa, dan guru adalah garda terdepan dalam proses tersebut. Dalam perspektif Al-Qur'an dan Hadits, peran guru diakui sebagai posisi yang sangat mulia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana ajaran Islam menekankan pentingnya peran guru dan bagaimana hal ini dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama pada perayaan Hari Guru. Dengan menggunakan metode studi literatur, penelitian ini mengumpulkan data dari berbagai sumber untuk memberikan gambaran yang komprehensif tentang penghargaan terhadap guru dalam konteks keagamaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penghargaan terhadap guru tidak hanya penting secara sosial, tetapi juga merupakan bagian dari implementasi ajaran Islam yang lebih luas.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi ontologi dalam konteks penelitian kesejahteraan sosial, khususnya pada program pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia. Ontologi, sebagai cabang filsafat yang mempelajari keberadaan dan realitas, memiliki peranan penting dalam merumuskan kerangka konseptual penelitian sosial. Dalam konteks ini, penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan library research untuk mengumpulkan data dan informasi dari berbagai sumber literatur yang relevan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman ontologis yang mendalam dapat memperkaya analisis terhadap program pengentasan kemiskinan, serta membantu dalam merumuskan kebijakan yang lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pengembangan ilmu kesejahteraan sosial dan implementasi program-program pengentasan kemiskinan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memulai cara belajar dalam pendidikan Islam, yang berperan penting dalam membentuk karakter dan kepribadian peserta didik. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada berbagai metode dan pendekatan belajar yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman peserta didik, termasuk teori belajar behavioristik, kognitif, humanistik, dan konstruktivistik. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengeksplorasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan belajar, baik dari aspek internal maupun eksternal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode pembelajaran yang tepat dapat meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar dan membentuk individu yang cerdas serta berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the importance of elementary education in shaping students' character and academic abilities. Comparing elementary schools is crucial because choosing a school is a long-term investment for a child's future. This study aims to identify and analyze the factors that contribute to the lack of curriculum adjustment to students' needs, limited teacher time and attention, and low student motivation at SD Muhammadiyah 10 Palembang and SDN 02 Lubuk Keliat. The research method uses a comparative qualitative approach with case studies. The research findings indicate that SD Muhammadiyah 10 excels in the integration of religious values and interactive learning methods, while SDN 02 Lubuk Keliat is more effective in the use of technology. Both schools face challenges such as reading difficulties and classroom management. Improving the quality of education requires a deeper integration of religious values, creative learning methods, effective use of technology, special attention to students with reading difficulties, and structured extracurricular programs. This research is important because it compares two different educational models in the context of elementary schools, which can provide valuable insights for improving the quality of education, addressing specific challenges, and maximizing the unique potential of each school. Collaboration and innovation are needed to create a learning environment that supports students' holistic development.
