The purpose of this research is to determine the learning outcomes of integer arithmetic using bead media among fourth-grade students at MI Miftahul Huda Gempol Kurung Menganti-Gresik. This study is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR), with 26 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques used in this research include tests and observations. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively for observational data and quantitatively for test data, and the research was conducted over two cycles. Based on the research results, it was found that in the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, the use of bead media improved the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topics of addition and subtraction of integers. The teacher's activity level increased from 72% in cycle I to 85.33% in cycle II. The percentage of student activity rose from 73.33% in cycle I to 83.33% in cycle II. Additionally, student learning outcomes improved from 42.30% in the pre-cycle to 69.23% in cycle I, and further increased to 96.15% in cycle II.

This study aims to develop the use of interactive learning media based on Wordwall on students' understanding and interest in learning. By adopting the ADDIE development model, this study involved fourth grade students of elementary schools in Surabaya and used the R&D research method. Data collection techniques were carried out using literature studies of previous and relevant scientific sources, the results showed that Wordwall media succeeded in creating an interactive, fun, and meaningful learning atmosphere. The validity of the media was rated very well, with a score of 90% for the material aspect, 88.75% for the media aspect, and 82.5% for the language aspect. The practicality test also showed very positive results, with teacher response questionnaires reaching 97.5% and students 96%, both in the very practical category. This finding shows that Wordwall is an effective learning media that is feasible to use in the learning process, and can be a relevant alternative to support learning activities in the digital era. Students' enthusiasm in using this media further strengthens the conclusion that Wordwall can increase the effectiveness of learning in the classroom.

The zoo is one of the popular educational tourist destinations in Surabaya. Issues regarding facilities, service quality and animal welfare are always the subject of evaluation because they are to satisfy visitors to the Surabaya Zoo. This study used direct observation methods, unstructured interviews and documentation at the Surabaya Zoo. The results of the study showed that the destruction of facilities at the Surabaya Zoo is a common occurrence and a serious problem that can disrupt the comfort of visitors and animal welfare. This study discusses the behavior of visitors who can damage facilities at the Surabaya Zoo and the lack of supervision from the Surabaya Zoo. This study is expected to encourage the authorities at the Surabaya Zoo to take steps to improve and revitalize the Surabaya Zoo, for the sake of sustainable conservation and to become a better educational environment and can provide a good impression for visitors to the Surabaya Zoo in the future.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menemukan ide pokok pada siswa kelas IV SDN Pakis V Surabaya melalui penerapan model Discovery Learning. Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah rendahnya kemampuan murid dalam menentukan ide pokok akibat pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru dan kurangnya aktivitas interaksi dua arah. Penelitian menggunakan metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus dengan tahapan perencanaan, tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi, melibatkan 28 murid sebagai subjek penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I rata-rata nilai murid sebesar 65,23 dan belum memenuhi Kriteria Ketuntasan Tujuan Pembelajaran (KKTP) yaitu 70. Setelah dilakukan perbaikan pada siklus II, terjadi peningkatan signifikan dengan rata-rata nilai mencapai 80,73 dan sebagian besar murid mencapai ketuntasan. Temuan ini membuktikan bahwa model Discovery Learning efektif dalam meningkatkan kemampuan murid menemukan ide pokok karena mendorong keterlibatan aktif, proses berpikir kritis, serta pemahaman yang lebih mendalam terhadap teks. Dengan demikian, model ini dapat dijadikan alternatif strategi pembelajaran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan literasi murid sekolah dasar.

This study aims to determine the learning outcomes of fourth grade students at SDN Banyu Urip IX Surabaya after the implementation of Adobe Flash-based electronic learning media, as well as to examine students’ responses toward the use of this media in the topic of energy transformation. This research employed a quantitative descriptive method with fourth-grade students of SDN Banyu Urip IX Surabaya as the research subjects. Data were collected through observation, documentation, tests, and questionnaires. The Adobe Flash-based learning media were developed to present the material interactively using engaging animations and visuals designed to enhance students’ conceptual understanding. Data analysis was carried out by calculating the percentage of learning outcomes and students’ responses toward the use of the media. The findings indicate that the implementation of Adobe Flash-based learning media improved students’ learning outcomes above the minimum standard and received positive responses from the students. The media were considered attractive, easy to use, and effective in helping students better understand the concept of energy transformation. In conclusion, the use of Adobe Flash based electronic learning media is effective in improving learning outcomes and student motivation in elementary science learning.
