Abstract

abstractBased on this reseach, the aim is to find out the obstacles and solutions from online thesis guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic in PGSD UWKS students. This reseach method uses descriptive qualitative reseach instrument namely questionnaire. The subject of this study were USD students who took part in the thesis course in 2019 with a total of 20 students. This reseach method uses descriptive qualitative method by asking 17 questions to 20 PGSD UWKS students. Based on the results of the study there were 81% of 19 PGSD UWKS students less effective consulting using this online method. Obstacles in this reseach such as by using online methods students do not understand the material / delivered by lectures, especially students who carry out online consultations. The solution to the previous problem is that students more intensely communicative eith the supervisor using / combining several more supportive apllications such as whatsapp, zoom, skype, teams, email, for the achievement of thesis consultation achievement.Keyword : Thesis, Online, Obstacles and Solutions.

Abstract

Educational Television Program, such as X-Science Educational TV Program, is one of the government's innovations in providing educational programs for the public. This study aimed to describe the effect of the X-Science Education TV program on the fourth-grade students' science learning outcomes at SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The study was an experimental design with a nonequivalent control group design. The study subject was fourth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya. The study instrument was a pre-and post-test using the google form application. The data collection technique was the learning outcome test. The data analysis technique was an independent sample T-test using IBM SPSS 24 application. The test analysis results obtained from the independent sample T-test showed t count > t table value, 2.298 > 2.024. Hence, H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The significance value (2-tailed) was 0.027 < 0.05, so there was a significant difference between the control and experimental groups' learning outcomes. The amount effect of the X-Science TV Educational Program on science learning in fourth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya was 31.06%. Based on the percentage gain, the X-Science TV Education Program positively affects science learning outcomes for fourth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media augmented reality terhadap hasil belajar siswa kelas V SD Simo Kalangan Surabaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Dengan sampel terdiri dari kelas V-B sebagai kelas kontrol dan kelas V-C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi dan tes. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25 meliputi uji normalitas, uji homogenitas dan uji hipotesis (Uji-T). Berdasarkan hasil analisis data yang diperoleh pada nilai rata-rata kelas kontrol mencapai nilai rata-rata 75,45 sementara kelas eksperimen nilai rata-rata 81,59, maka terdapat adanya perbedaan nilai yang signifikan antara kedua kelas Dari uji T didapatkan hasil nilai thitung 2,337 > nilai ttabel 1,685, sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media augmented reality memberikan pengaruh signifikan terhadap hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas V SD Al Hikmah Simo Kalangan Surabaya.

Abstract

Problems in the learning process experienced in some elementary schools are less effective and efficient learning processes carried out by teachers so that student learning outcomes tend to be low. This study aims to Improve Student Learning Outcomes Using Learning Video Media in Grade 4 Student Animal Reproduction Materials SD Tunas Bakti Surabaya. This study uses classroom action research carried out in 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 4 stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The results showed that science learning using video learning media can improve student learning outcomes compared to before classroom action research was conducted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mencari ada tidaknya pengaruh aplikasi YouTube terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial materi siklus air kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pakis V Surabaya. Tes digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data. Dilakukan di Sekolah Dasar Negeri Pakis V Surabaya. Peneliti menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain quasi eksperimental. dengan menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS. Teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk memilih dua kelas sebagai sampel yaitu kelas eksperimen (5.C) dan kelas kontrol (5.D). data dikumpulkan melalui tes, kemudian dianalisis dengan analisis statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan (1) gambaran penggunaan media pembelajaran aplikasi YouTube berjalan dengan sangat baik, dikarenakan mengalami peningkatan yang sangat signifikan, (2) gambaran peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial pada siswa kelas 5.C menunjukkan bahwa kelas eksperimen mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial lebih baik daripada kelas kontrol setelah kelas eksperimen menerima perlakuan, (3) pengaruh media pembelajaran YouTube terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial materi siklus air pada siswa kelas V, berdasarkan hasil analisis statistik SPSS, terdapat pengaruh positif media pembelajaran YouTube terhadap hasil belajar Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dan Sosial materi siklus air pada siswa kelas V.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low score achieved by students in the beginning reading ability in the Indonesian language subject. One way that can be used to overcome this problem is to apply the syllabus method. The purpose of this study was to describe the effect of the silaba method on the reading ability of first grade students at SDN Petemon Surabaya. The type of research used in this research is quantitative research using experimental methods, with the type of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This study used the firstclass population at SDN Petemon Surabaya. Two classes were selected using a random sampling technique by lottery as the research sample. Class I-C consists of 25 students as an experimental class. Class I-A consists of 25 students as the control class. The instrument of this study used observation sheets and questions (pretest and posttest) in the form of literacy, totaling 5 questions. The data collection technique uses scoring on the results of observations and pretest and posttest assessment standards. The tests used were the normality test, homogeneity test and the T test were used to test the results of the research data. The results of the research data showed that the posttest average of the experimental class was , which was higher than the control class, which was . The results of the data using the t-test. The results of calculating t Count obtained a value of  followed by looking for a t table based on the df value of 48 with a level value of  showing a result of . This proves that there is an influence of the silaba method on the beginning reading ability of first grade students at SDN Petemon Surabaya.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to develop e-book-based teaching materials through the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach that are engaging and aligned with the characteristics of elementary school students. This research is developmental research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five steps: Analyze, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluation. Data collection techniques include interviews, questionnaires, and validation sheets. The researcher involved two validators to validate the e-book and one validator to validate the content within the e-book. Based on the validation results, it was found that: (1) The e-book-based teaching materials developed by the researcher are categorized as valid/feasible with a percentage of 91.25%. (2) The content within the e-book is proven to be effective and suitable for the characteristics of elementary school students, with a percentage of 85%, categorized as valid/feasible. (3) The student response questionnaire indicated that the use of the e-book is effective and easy to understand, with a percentage of 91.53%, categorized as excellent. Based on the data analysis results, it can be concluded that the development of e-book-based teaching materials through the Culturally Responsive Teaching approach is valid/feasible for use in 5th-grade Indonesian language lessons on Compound Sentences. Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the learning outcomes of integer arithmetic using bead media among fourth-grade students at MI Miftahul Huda Gempol Kurung Menganti-Gresik. This study is classified as Classroom Action Research (CAR), with 26 fourth-grade students as the subjects. Data collection techniques used in this research include tests and observations. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively for observational data and quantitatively for test data, and the research was conducted over two cycles. Based on the research results, it was found that in the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II, the use of bead media improved the learning outcomes of fourth-grade students on the topics of addition and subtraction of integers. The teacher's activity level increased from 72% in cycle I to 85.33% in cycle II. The percentage of student activity rose from 73.33% in cycle I to 83.33% in cycle II. Additionally, student learning outcomes improved from 42.30% in the pre-cycle to 69.23% in cycle I, and further increased to 96.15% in cycle II.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPengujian performa website menjadi faktor krusial dalam memastikan pengalaman pengguna yang optimal. PT. Abisakti Surya Megakon menghadapi tantangan dalam memastikan kecepatan dan efisiensi website mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pelatihan penggunaan GTmetrix sebagai alat evaluasi performa website guna meningkatkan efisiensi dan responsivitasnya. Berbeda dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang lebih fokus pada aspek teknis pengujian website secara mandiri, penelitian ini menawarkan pendekatan pelatihan berbasis praktik dengan studi kasus nyata pada website perusahaan. Dari segi novelty, penelitian ini menekankan penerapan langsung hasil analisis GTmetrix dalam konteks bisnis perusahaan, bukan hanya teori optimasi performa website. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman peserta terhadap metrik kinerja website serta penerapan strategi optimasi yang lebih efektif. Dengan demikian, pelatihan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi bagi perusahaan dalam meningkatkan kualitas website mereka secara berkelanjutan. Abstract. Website performance testing is a crucial factor in ensuring an optimal user experience. PT. Abisakti Surya Megakon faces challenges in ensuring the speed and efficiency of their website. This research aims to provide training on the use of GTmetrix as a tool for evaluating website performance to enhance its efficiency and responsiveness. Unlike previous studies that focused more on the technical aspects of independent website testing, this research offers a practical training approach with real case studies on the company's website. In terms of novelty, this study emphasizes the direct application of GTmetrix analysis results within the business context of the company, rather than merely focusing on theoretical website performance optimization. The training results indicate an increased understanding among participants regarding website performance metrics and the implementation of more effective optimization strategies. Thus, this training is expected to serve as a solution for the company in sustainably improving the quality of their website.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of the technology-based educational game Educandy in improving the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SDN Pakis V Surabaya, especially in the subject of Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS). The background of this study is based on the low learning outcomes of students caused by conventional learning methods that are less interesting. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, documentation, and evaluation of pretests and posttests. The data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study indicate that the use of Educandy can increase student motivation, involvement, and understanding of the subject matter. Observation data shows an increase in student enthusiasm for learning, while the evaluation results show an increase in the average score from 78 to 93 after the implementation of the learning media. In addition, student responses to the use of Educandy are very positive, where the majority feel more enthusiastic, confident, and understand the material better. Thus, Educandy is proven to be effective as an interactive learning media that can improve learning outcomes and create a pleasant learning atmosphere in elementary schools.
