Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of madrasahs in implementing various aspects of education contained in the education unit accreditation instrument. Through interviews and observations, the study analyzed several critical points in school management: the principal's competence in academic supervision, creative and innovative leadership, building harmonious relationships between madrasah members, managing facilities and infrastructure, and managing finances. The results showed several challenges faced by the madrasah in implementing the new curriculum, managing human resources, and developing facilities and infrastructure. The implications of this study highlight the importance of training and coaching for teachers and educators, improving guidance and counseling services for students, and increasing cooperation between madrasahs and related parties to improve the quality of education. By considering these findings, madrasahs can take strategic steps to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process and create a conducive learning environment for developing students' potential.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta in enhancing academic performance and school management. The research is grounded in the school's need to improve efficiency and transparency through digitalization since the MIS was introduced in 2020. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The key findings indicate that MIS has successfully improved efficiency in administrative management, strengthened transparency in financial and academic data management, and facilitated communication between the school, students, and parents. Technical challenges, such as suboptimal infrastructure, were addressed through collaboration with service providers and staff training. The implications of this study highlight the significant role of MIS in supporting the modernization and digitalization of the education system at the madrasah, while also revealing opportunities for further development to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

This study evaluates the performance of madrasahs in implementing various aspects of education contained in the education unit accreditation instrument and analyzes several strategic management recommendations. Through interviews and observations, the study analyzed several critical points in school management, such as the principal's competence in academic supervision, creative and innovative leadership, building harmonious relationships between the madrasah community, managing facilities and infrastructure, and financial management. The results showed several challenges faced by the madrasah in implementing the new curriculum, managing human resources, and developing facilities and infrastructure. Recommendations include improving teacher supervision and training, recruiting selective educators, allocating resources wisely, developing guidance and counseling services, and implementing an efficient time management system. Therefore, madrasahs can implement strategic management to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process and create a learning environment conducive to the development of students' potential.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Madrasah Digital Report Card (RDM) at MA Al-Wathoniyah 5 in order to improve the efficiency and quality of education administration management. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method with data collection through documentation and interviews, which are analyzed using the Miles and Huberman technique, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that RDM facilitates the management of grades, student attendance, and reporting in accordance with the Ministry of Religious Affairs standards. The automatic validation feature and account-based access control ensure data accuracy and security. Implementation constraints, such as limited budget and internet access, were overcome through a shared commitment between teachers, administrative staff and the foundation, as well as regular training and internal fundraising. The planned integration of RDM with other management systems, such as finance and student attendance, as well as the increased capacity of the local server, reflects the madrasah's vision to build a comprehensive and sustainable information system. In conclusion, RDM not only improves administrative efficiency but also becomes a relevant model of technological innovation in madrasah education.

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa perubahan besar dalam dunia pendidikan, termasuk di Yayasan Al-Wathoniyah 5 Jakarta yang mengimplementasikan pembelajaran digital untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Namun, perubahan ini menimbulkan tantangan baru, terutama dalam manajemen kecerdasan emosional yang menjadi faktor penting dalam keberhasilan proses belajar mengajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan manajemen kecerdasan emosional dalam pembelajaran digital, mengidentifikasi kendala yang dihadapi, serta mengevaluasi dampaknya terhadap interaksi guru dan siswa, motivasi belajar, dan efektivitas penyampaian materi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional guru berperan penting dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang kondusif, meskipun terdapat tantangan seperti rendahnya interaksi bermakna dan motivasi siswa dalam pembelajaran digital. Strategi berbasis kecerdasan emosional, seperti membangun empati, memberikan umpan balik positif, dan menciptakan interaksi yang interaktif, terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran digital. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan peningkatan pelatihan kecerdasan emosional bagi guru serta pengembangan pendekatan berbasis teknologi yang lebih mendukung aspek emosional dalam pembelajaran.

Abstract

The problem studied in this research is the lack of optimal competency of SMAIT Qordova School graduates, Bandung Regency. The problem of absorbing graduates who are not yet able to compete is due to the low quality of graduates. This is a phenomenon of the quality of graduate competence not being optimal. This research is intended to obtain the educational concept of SMAIT Qordova Bandung Regency in improving the quality of graduate competency so that it can produce graduates who are qualified and in line with future needs. The method used in this research is the Explanatory Survey Method. The data collection technique uses an ordinal scale questionnaire. The number of respondents was 21 educators, taken as a whole from teachers at SMAIT Qordova. Data processing techniques use Path Analysis Models. In detail, the results of this research show that: (1) The principal's leadership has a strong, positive and significant influence on teachers' teaching performance and management of learning facilities; (2) The principal's leadership and the teacher's teaching performance have a positive and significant effect on the learning process; (3) The principal's leadership, teacher's teaching performance, and the learning process have a positive and significant effect on the quality of graduate competency

Abstract

Infeksi saluran pernapasan akut (ISPA) merupakan penyakit pernafasan yang menyebabkan tingginya tingkat morbiditas dan mortalitas. Prevalensi ISPA di Indonesia pada tahun 2018 mencapai 9,3%. Kecamatan Cakung sebagai bagian dari Kota Jakarta Timur, memiliki prevalensi ISPA sebesar 6,5% di tahun 2020 dan mengalami peningkatan menjadi 7,4% di tahun 2021. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang berhubungan dengan kejadian infeksi saluran pernafasan akut. Penelitian ini dilakukan di wilayah Kecamatan Cakung Jakarta Timur, pada bulan November 2021 – Juni 2022. Penelitian ini menggunakan variabel dependen berupa kejadian ISPA, sedangkan variabel independen meliputi faktor demografi (usia, jenis kelamin, jenis pekerjaan, dan pengetahuan), faktor perilaku (paparan asap rokok dan penggunaan obat nyamuk bakar), serta faktor lingkungan (kepadatan hunian dan ventilasi rumah). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan pendekatan case control. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan simple random sampling untuk sampel kasus, dan teknik purposive sampling digunakan untuk penentuan sampel kontrol. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 66 orang responden. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi dengan instrumen penelitian berupa kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis secara univariat dan bivariat yaitu uji chi square dan uji regresi logistik, sehingga diperoleh nilai p-value dan odds ratio dan hubungan antara faktor risiko dengan kejadian infeksi saluran pernafasan akut dapat diketahui. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa variabel yang mempengaruhi kejadian ISPA meliputi pengetahuan (p-value= 0,045), paparan asap rokok (p-value= 0008), dan penggunaan obat nyamuk bakar (p-value= 0,000).
