Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1 ) Untuk mengetahui peran kepala sekolah sebagai pengelola dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MI Cimenteng Cisaat; dan (2) mendeskripsikan peran kepala sekolah sebagai pengawas dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MI Cimenteng Cisaat. Penelitian ini pada dasarnya merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain penelitian etnografi. Untuk informan melibatkan kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Dan untuk validitas data menggunakan kredibilitas, konfirmabilitas, dan dependabilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kepala sekolah MI Cimenteng Cisaat memiliki tiga strategi dalam menjalankan perannya sebagai manajer untuk meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di MI Cimenteng. Strategi tersebut meliputi penerapan kualitas total, pelibatan pihak eksternal, dan evaluasi berkelanjutan. Dengan strategi tersebut, MI Cimenteng Sukabumi menjadi pendidikan berbasis mutu dengan persentase kelulusan mencapai 100%. (2) Peran kepala sekolah di MI Cimenteng Sukabumi sebagai pengawas ditunjukkan dengan melakukan supervisi. Kepala sekolah menyiapkan waktu, guru, materi, kelas, dan instrumen supervisi. Proses supervisi dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dengan observasi kelas dimana kepala sekolah menilai kinerja guru dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar. Hasil supervisi dibahas dalam rapat umpan balik antara kepala sekolah dan guru yang dibimbing. Dan diskusi umum diikuti oleh seluruh warga sekolah termasuk komite sekolah. The purposes of this research are: (1 ) to know about the role of the principal as the manager to improve the quality of education at MI Cimenteng Cisaat; and (2) to describe the role of the principal as the supervisor to improve the quality of education at MI Cimenteng Cisaat.This research is basically a qualitative research with ethnography research design. For the informant, it involves the principal, teacher, and students. Data collection method uses interview, observation, and documentation. The data analyses uses data collection, data reducation, data display, and drawing conclusion. And for the data validity, it uses credibility, confirmability, and dependability.The results of the research show that: (1 ) the principal of MI Cimenteng Cisaat had three strategies to perform his role as a manager to improve the quality of education at MI Cimenteng. Those strategies included the implementation of total quality, involving external parties, and doing continuous evaluation. With those strategies, MI Cimenteng Sukabumi became the qualitybased education with the percentage of graduation achieved 100%. (2) The role of the principal at MI Cimenteng Sukabumi as the supervisor was indicated by conducting supervision. The principal prepared the time, teacher, material, class, and instrument of supervision. The process of supervision was done by the principal with classroom observation in which the principal assessed teacher’s performance in teaching and learning activity. The result of supervision was discussed in feedback meeting between the principal and supervised teacher. And the general discussion was followed by all school community included school committee.

Abstract

Abstrak Pengajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di sekolah mempunyai nilai strategis dalam mengembangkan pemahaman siswa tentang sejarah Islam dan kebudayaan Islam kepada peserta didik, agar ia memberikan konsep yang objektif dan sistematis dalam perspektif sejarah sehingga dapat mengambil i’tibar nilai dan makna yang terkandung dalam sejarah. Di samping itu pendidikan sejarah di sekolah bertujuan untuk mengembangkan potensi siswa untuk berpikir kronologis dan kritis analitis serta dapat memahami sejarah dengan baik dan benar. Selama ini pembelajaran SKI cenderung sebagai pelajaran yang membosankan, juga dianggap tidak inovatif dalam memberikan kecakapan hidup bagi peserta didik, kurang menarik dan kurang diminati. Salah satu pendekatan yang diduga dapat menjembatani permasalahan tersebut adalah pendekatan konstruktivisme.Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kondisi pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di madrasah Aliyah Muslimin Jaya, aktivitas berpikir kritis siswa dalam pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam, pelaksanaan tindakan, dan proses evaluasi dan tingkat keberhasilan pembelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam di MA Muslimin Jaya. Teaching Islamic Cultural History in schools has a strategic value in developing students' understanding of Islamic history and Islamic culture to students, so that they provide objective and systematic concepts from a historical perspective so that they can take the values ​​and meanings contained in history. In addition, history education in schools aims to develop students' potential to think chronologically and critically analytically and to understand history properly and correctly. So far, SKI learning tends to be a boring lesson, also considered not innovative in providing life skills for students, less interesting and less desirable. One approach that is thought to be able to bridge these problems is the constructivism approach.The problem in this research is how the conditions of learning Islamic Cultural History at Madrasah Aliyah Muslimin Jaya, students' critical thinking activities in Islamic Cultural History learning, implementation of actions, and the evaluation process and the success rate of learning Islamic Cultural History at MA Muslimin Jaya.

Abstract

Mempelajari al-Qur’an adalah kewajiban. Salah satu bagian mempelajari alQur’an yaitu membaca al-Qur’an tersebut. Membaca al-Qur’an sesuai dengan bacaan yang diajarkan Rasulullah SAW dan para sahabatnya, sebagaimana alQur’an diturunkan. Oleh karena itu membaca al-Qur’an sesuai dengan tajwid merupakan kewajiban bagi setiap muslim. Tajwid merupakan ilmu ilmu tentang cara baca al-Qur’an secara tepat, yaitu dengan mengeluarkan bunyi huruf dari asal tempatnya (makhraj), sesuai dengan karakter bunyi (sifat) dan konsekuensi dari sifat yang dimiliki huruf tersebut, mengetahui dimana harus berhenti (waqaf) dan dimana harus memulai bacaannya kembali (ibtida’). Revolusi Industri 4.0 menyediakan pengajar dan pendidik serta mahasiswa berbagai jenis aplikasi yang dapat menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran. Kehadiran teknologi juga memberikan kesempatan mahasiswa untuk belajar secara mandiri. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk menemukan penggunaan aplikasi BMA sebagai media bantu untuk mempelajari ilmu tajwid sehingga kemampuan membaca Alqur’an mahasiswa dapat ditingkatkan. Studying the Qur'an is an obligation. One part of studying the Koran is reading the Koran. Read the Qur'an in accordance with the readings taught by Rasulullah SAW and his companions, as the Qur'an was revealed. Therefore reading the Qur'an in accordance with tajwid is an obligation for every Muslim. Tajweed is the science of how to read the Qur'an correctly, namely by removing the sound of the letter from its place of origin (makhraj), according to the character of the sound (properties) and the consequences of the properties of the letter, knowing where to stop (waqaf). and where to start reading again (ibtida'). The Industrial Revolution 4.0 provides teachers and educators as well as students with various types of applications that can create a fun learning environment to achieve learning goals. The presence of technology also provides opportunities for students to study independently. This article aims to find the use of the BMA application as an auxiliary medium for studying recitation so that students' Alqur'an reading skills can be improved.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship as a concept includes innovation, risk management and resource management to create value. Local entrepreneurship is an important aspect in mapping regional economic potential, which is closely related to local wisdom, cultural values and community needs. This needs to be explored and developed. The aim of this workshop is to determine students' entrepreneurial potential, increase entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, and plan special activities to establish and develop local companies. This workshop consists of three sessions which include presentations, group discussions, case studies and simulations. The results of the workshop were the identification of local business opportunities, increased skills of participants and a spirit of cooperation between local communities. The workshop produced various outputs, such as business plans, new networks, skills development and training materials that support the development of local entrepreneurship. In conclusion, this workshop not only helps explore local entrepreneurial potential, but also strengthens the skills and cooperation of the participants, which is an important step in developing local entrepreneurship and encouraging regional economic growth

Abstract

This study aims to examine whether the use of interactive PowerPoint can improve the motivation to learn Japanese at SMA Negeri 1 Pangean. The research employs an experimental method with a control class and an experimental class, using questionnaires as the data collection technique. The questionnaires were administered before and after the treatment. Data analysis in this study includes the validity and reliability of the questionnaires, normality test, t-test, and hypothesis testing using MS Excel 21. Based on the results of the questionnaires distributed to both the experimental and control classes, there were changes in motivation between the two classes. A significant change was observed in the experimental class that used interactive PowerPoint in their Japanese language learning.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS) at Madrasah Aliyah Al-Wathoniyah 5 East Jakarta in enhancing academic performance and school management. The research is grounded in the school's need to improve efficiency and transparency through digitalization since the MIS was introduced in 2020. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed, involving observations, in-depth interviews, and document analysis. The key findings indicate that MIS has successfully improved efficiency in administrative management, strengthened transparency in financial and academic data management, and facilitated communication between the school, students, and parents. Technical challenges, such as suboptimal infrastructure, were addressed through collaboration with service providers and staff training. The implications of this study highlight the significant role of MIS in supporting the modernization and digitalization of the education system at the madrasah, while also revealing opportunities for further development to enhance educational quality.

Abstract

The rise of hoaxes and negative content on social media is a serious challenge that can affect the understanding of religion, morals, and psychology of adolescents. This study aims to analyze the role of Islamic Education in improving the digital literacy of Muslim adolescents and formulate effective strategies to overcome hoaxes and negative content. This study uses a qualitative approach with literature study methods and content analysis. Data was collected from sources such as the Qur'an, Hadith, books, journals, and articles related to digital literacy and Islamic Education. The results of the study show that Islamic education can be a moral and spiritual foundation in shaping adolescents' critical awareness of digital content. Islamic values such as tabayyun (verification), amanah (honesty), and hikmah (wisdom) can be integrated in digital literacy to fight hoaxes. The integration between Islamic Education and digital literacy is able to form a young generation of Muslims who are intelligent, critical, and responsible in social media. The synergy between religious values and digital skills is the key in facing the challenges of hoaxes and negative content in the digital era.

Abstract

This classroom action research examines the effectiveness of Problem Solving method in enhancing learning motivation for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) among junior high school SMP Iko Anata Putra, Nagrak, Sukabumi students. Conducted in two cycles with 30 eighth-grade participants, the study employed observation, achievement tests, and motivation questionnaires. Findings revealed substantial improvements across key indicators: instructional quality increased from 69% to 87%, student engagement rose from 62% to 82%, and learning outcomes improved from an average score of 65 (40% mastery) to 78 (85% mastery). Motivation levels showed 13% overall growth, with notable increases in intrinsic motivation components including learning desire (66% to 79%) and activity interest (67% to 80%). The research demonstrates how Problem Solving fosters active learning environments, develops critical thinking skills, and strengthens religious value internalization. These results suggest the method's potential for broader application in PAI instruction, particularly in addressing motivation challenges. Further studies should explore technological integration and long-term cognitive-affective impacts of this approach.

Abstract

This study focuses on the essential role of fathers in children's education from the perspective of QS Luqman verses 13-19, serving as a foundation for Islamic character development amidst the decreasing involvement of fathers in modern families. The primary goal of this research is to understand and analyze how the values in these verses can guide fathers in shaping the moral and spiritual foundation of their children from an early age. Using a qualitative approach through literature review, data was gathered from prominent Quranic interpretations and relevant academic literature. Thematic analysis reveals that fathers play a critical role in character education by teaching values of monotheism, ethics, and practices of worship that reflect obedience to Allah SWT. Luqman’s example in QS Luqman 13-19 portrays a father instilling principles of patience, gratitude, and humility, advising his son on leading a life based on moral and spiritual integrity. This reinforces the view of fathers as not only providers but also primary educators in nurturing a spiritually and ethically resilient child. The study's implications highlight the importance of active father involvement in children’s moral upbringing, suggesting this as a basis for family policy and parenting approaches to mitigate adverse social influences. This research strengthens the perspective that the father's role in character education is vital for fostering individuals with strong moral character, integrity, and resilience.

Abstract

Family involvement has a major impact on children's motivation to learn. Good personality is usually shown by children who are raised in harmonious and intact homes. The purpose of this study was to determine the state of broken home families, the level of learning interest among students, and the relationship between the two at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi. This study used an experiment as its methodology, using a sample of 20 students from families with broken homes. Data collection techniques included interviews, observations, and surveys. The relationship between students' learning interest and families with broken homes was ascertained by quantitative analysis of the data. Many students at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi rarely live with their parents, according to the data, which shows that broken home families are a relatively rare occurrence. Students' learning interest is in the sufficient group. However, based on statistical analysis, if the rxy value (0.38) < rtable (0.468), then Ho is accepted, which indicates that students' learning interest is not influenced by a history of broken home families. Thus, at MTs Hikmatunnidzom Gunungguruh Sukabumi there is no correlation between students' interest in learning and the condition of broken home families.
