Abstract

This article examines the pattern of relations between learners and educators in the context of contemporary Islamic education philosophy. By highlighting the thoughts of prominent figures such as Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Fazlur Rahman, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, Ismail Raji al-Faruqi, and Taha Jabir al-Alwani, this article discusses the concept of relationship patterns such as adab, critical dialogue, holistic education, integration of knowledge, and ijtihad. This research aims to explain the ideal relationship pattern between learners and educators in contemporary Islamic education through a relationship pattern that is mutually respectful and dialogical, focusing on character building, spirituality, and learners' critical thinking. This research method uses descriptive qualitative research using the library research method, data sources taken from books, website articles, and the Qur'an, then analyzed to conclude. The results show that contemporary muslim intellectuals such as Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Fazlur Rahman, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, Ismail Raji al-Faruqi, and Taha Jabir al-Alwani affirm that the pattern of relations between learners and educators must be based on substantial respect for the epistemology and authority of educators while facilitating the independent and critical development of learners in the pedagogical process. This aims to form learners with intellectual capabilities, moral integrity, and spirituality.

Abstract

In developing a complete personality, the dynamics between teacher and student are very important. This paper seeks to explore the significance of the relationship between teacher and student within the framework of modern Islamic pedagogical theory. Books, online papers, and previous research are the main sources from the library collection, which is the research methodology used here. Investigating the ideas put forward by prominent figures such as Seyyed Hossein Nasr, Fazlur Rahman, Syed Muhammad Naquib al-Attas, Ismail Raji al-Faruqi, and Taha Jabir al-Alwani requires a thorough examination of the collected data. From this, relevant conclusions can be drawn to develop concepts such as adab, critical dialog, holistic education, knowledge integration, and ijtihad. The findings of this study show that, according to modern Islamic educational philosophy, the best model of teacher-student interaction is one characterized by open communication, mutual respect, and an emphasis on developing students' spirituality, critical thinking skills, and character. We can deal with the problems of modern education, such as the crisis of values, the crisis of the meaning of life, the crisis of the credibility gap, and the crisis of idealism, by looking at the pattern of the relationship between learners and educators through the lens of contemporary Islam. In order to prepare learners to cope with the complex problems of the future, it is necessary to incorporate the ideas of Islamic education into the modern education system.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays an integral role in shaping holistic character, including the development of soft skills in individuals. This article aims to examine the importance of developing soft skills through Islamic Religious Education to achieve success both personally and professionally. The research method used in this study is library research, the data sources are collected from books, website articles and previous studies. The data obtained was analyzed in depth and detail to understand the phenomenon in a broader context, as well as to draw relevant conclusions to outline the concept and application of PAI in the context of this skill development. The purpose of the study was to present a comprehensive view of how PAI can effectively play a role in training skills such as leadership, communication, and teamwork. The results show that PAI positively contributes to building characters with integrity, empathy, and responsibility, communication skills, critical thinking, and leadership, almost in all areas of study presented in the data table. The integration of PAI in the learning process can create an educational environment that encourages the development of soft skills, preparing individuals to face the complex challenges of the future.

Abstract

Effective classroom learning depends on implementing appropriate strategies and creating a supportive environment, especially for students with disabilities. This study explores the strategies adopted by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at Az-Zahrah Islamic Elementary School Palembang to establish a friendly classroom environment for children with special needs. The research focuses on seven students with neurodevelopmental disorders who face challenges in communication, social interaction, and exhibit tantrums. Using a descriptive qualitative research design, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, with the PAI teacher as the main subject. The findings reveal that effective strategies include understanding and addressing individual needs, fostering an inclusive learning atmosphere, customizing teaching methods for special needs students, and applying clear and straightforward communication. However, significant challenges, such as managing classroom dynamics and ensuring harmonious interactions among peers, often demand additional time and effort. This study highlights the critical role of PAI teachers in overcoming these challenges and creating an inclusive, supportive educational environment that accommodates all students, particularly those with special needs. These findings underscore the need for continuous professional development for teachers in inclusive education practices.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan budaya dan iklim sekolah yang diterapkan di SMA IT An-Nahl Percikan Iman Jambi dalam membentuk karakter siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian lapangan (field research). Sedangkan pendekatan penelitian ini adalah kualitatif. Sekolah ini menerapkan iklim yang menumbuhkan komitmen kemandirian, partisipasi aktif warga sekolah, serta menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang aman, tertib, dan religius. Visi sekolah diwujudkan melalui program-program keagamaan dengan slogan TAQWA (Tangguh, Agamis, Qur'ani, Wawasan Luas, Akhlaqul Karimah). Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa budaya sekolah terbentuk melalui kegiatan rutin seperti membaca Al-Qur'an, shalat berjamaah, murojaah, shalat berjamaah, serta kegiatan kebersihan dan kedisiplinan. Kegiatan spontan seperti memberikan bantuan saat terjadi bencana menumbuhkan rasa empati dan solidaritas. Guru dan tenaga kependidikan menjadi panutan dalam membentuk karakter melalui perilaku santun, jujur, dan bertanggung jawab. Pengkondisian lingkungan sekolah yang bersih, rapi, dan sarat pesan moral juga memperkuat pembentukan karakter. Nilai-nilai yang ditanamkan meliputi religiusitas, gotong royong, disiplin, peduli lingkungan, dan kerja keras. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan budaya dan iklim sekolah yang berbasis pada nilai-nilai Islam efektif dalam membentuk siswa yang berkarakter, terampil, dan berakhlak mulia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti melalui penerapan metode pembelajaran Teams Games Tournament (TGT). Penelitian dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu (SDIT) An-Nahl Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi, dan refleksi. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, wawancara, tes hasil belajar, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Pada siklus I tingkat ketuntasan belajar siswa mencapai 58,62%, sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 93,10%. Penerapan metode TGT terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan motivasi, keaktifan, dan hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam dan Budi Pekerti. Dengan demikian, metode TGT dapat dijadikan alternatif inovatif bagi guru PAI dalam menciptakan suasana belajar yang menyenangkan dan kolaboratif

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara komprehensif perbedaan karakteristik asesmen pada ranah pengetahuan (kognitif), sikap (afektif), dan keterampilan (psikomotorik) dalam pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) serta penerapannya secara holistik dalam konteks Kurikulum Merdeka. Menggunakan metode penelitian kepustakaan (library research), kajian ini menelaah teori taksonomi Bloom, revisi Anderson & Krathwohl, teori afektif Krathwohl, dan teori psikomotorik Simpson serta Dave, kemudian mengintegrasikannya dengan konsep asesmen autentik PAI. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa asesmen kognitif dalam PAI harus mencakup empat dimensi pengetahuan, yaitu faktual, konseptual, prosedural, dan metakognitif, untuk mendorong kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Pada ranah afektif, penelitian ini mengembangkan konsep “afeksi religius holistik” yang menilai keseimbangan antara kesadaran spiritual, kesalehan sosial, dan tanggung jawab moral. Instrumen seperti spiritual diary, skala sikap keikhlasan, dan observasi perilaku terbukti efektif untuk melihat internalisasi nilai peserta didik. Pada ranah psikomotorik, asesmen tidak hanya berfokus pada ketepatan gerakan ibadah, tetapi juga pada kemampuan peserta didik mempraktikkan nilai Rahmatan lil ‘Alamin melalui proyek nyata dalam Kurikulum Cinta, seperti merawat lingkungan, menolong sesama, dan menunjukkan kasih sayang terhadap makhluk hidup. Temuan penelitian menegaskan pentingnya asesmen PAI yang terintegrasi, autentik, dan transformatif agar tujuan pembelajaran Islam yang menyatukan iman, ilmu, dan amal dapat diwujudkan secara nyata. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi teoretis maupun praktis bagi pengembangan asesmen PAI yang lebih holistik dan sesuai dengan tuntutan pendidikan abad ke-21.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis teori The Golden Age dalam perkembangan anak usia dini, mencakup pengertian, konsep dasar, relevansinya terhadap pembelajaran, serta urgensi implementasinya dalam Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD). Metode yang digunakan adalah studi literatur dengan penelusuran sistematis terhadap empat basis data (Google Scholar, DOAJ, ERIC, dan Scopus) dengan tanggal pencarian terakhir 20 November 2025. Dari 126 rekaman awal, 54 artikel disaring melalui pemeriksaan judul abstrak, dan 15 studi memenuhi kriteria inklusi sebagai dasar sintesis tematik. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar literatur neurosains dan pendidikan menegaskan masa The Golden Age sebagai periode sensitif perkembangan anak yang ditandai oleh tingginya plastisitas otak, sehingga stimulasi kognitif, sosial-emosional, moral, dan spiritual perlu diberikan secara konsisten melalui aktivitas bermain yang terarah dan pembiasaan nilai karakter. Relevansinya tercermin dalam kurikulum PAUD yang menekankan pendekatan holistik dan kontekstual, sementara urgensinya terlihat pada kuatnya konsensus penelitian bahwa kualitas stimulasi awal berkorelasi dengan kesiapan belajar jangka panjang. Implikasi praktis bagi pendidik dan orang tua meliputi penyediaan aktivitas bermain terstruktur untuk mengembangkan bahasa, regulasi emosi, interaksi sosial, serta pembiasaan nilai moral-spiritual dalam rutinitas harian, dengan keterlibatan aktif keluarga sebagai lingkungan stimulasi utama.
