Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the influence of Celebrity Endorser, Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM), and Brand Image on Purchase Decisions for Avoskin Beauty Skincare Products through Purchase Interest as an Intervening Variable. This research method uses primary data which can be obtained by distributing questionnaires to consumers of Avoskin Beauty Skincare products with the help of Google form media. The test stages used are descriptive test, validity test, reliability test, structural model test (inner model), path coefficient test, mediation test (indirect effect). This research used a questionnaire instrument and processed data from 100 respondents. Sampling used a purposive sampling approach. The tool used is SmartPLS 3.2.9 software. The research results show that the Electronic Word of Mouth (E-WOM) variable and the Brand Image variable influence Purchase Interest as an Intervening variable. Meanwhile, the Celebrity Endorser variable has no effect on Purchase Interest as an Intervening variable. The Celebrity Endorser variable and the Brand Image variable influence purchasing decisions, while the Electronic Word of Mouth variable has no influence on purchasing decisions. The Purchase Interest variable has no effect on Purchase Decisions. The Celebrity Endorser variable and the Electronic Word of Mouth variable do not have a significant effect on Purchase Interest as an intervening variable on purchasing decisions. Meanwhile, the Brand Image variable has a significant effect on Purchase Interest as an Intervening variable on Purchase Decisions.

Abstract

This study investigates university students’ perceptions of the use of ChatGPT in developing critical thinking skills through a descriptive phenomenological approach. Data were gathered via in-depth interviews with eight students from various disciplines at Institut Az Zuhra Pekanbaru and analyzed using Colaizzi’s method. The results show that ChatGPT serves as a supportive tool for understanding concepts, constructing arguments, and engaging in critical comparison of ideas. Participants also reported increased motivation, curiosity, and reflective thinking. However, some concerns were noted, including dependency on the tool, diminished active thinking, and risks of academic dishonesty. The study highlights the dual role of AI in education—both as a catalyst for learning and as a potential source of ethical challenges. It emphasizes the importance of responsible and guided use of AI tools like ChatGPT in higher education to maximize their benefits while minimizing negative impacts.

Abstract

Pengkajian aspek spiritual dalam praktik keperawatan masih belum diimplementasikan secara menyeluruh di rumah sakit. Perawat umumnya hanya mencatat agama dan kebiasaan ibadah tanpa menggali kebutuhan spiritual pasien secara mendalam. Hal ini disebabkan oleh keterbatasan instrumen yang sesuai konteks budaya lokal serta minimnya pelatihan profesional. Kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan instrumen pengkajian spiritual yang aplikatif dan kontekstual bagi pasien dewasa. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini dilaksanakan melalui metode workshop yang dikombinasikan dengan pendekatan ceramah, diskusi kelompok terarah (Focus Group Discussion/FGD), serta pengisian kuesioner evaluasi sebagai bagian dari proses validasi instrumen. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa 75% peserta menyatakan instrumen layak digunakan dengan revisi dan 25% menyatakan sangat layak. Saran perbaikan meliputi penyederhanaan bahasa, efisiensi pertanyaan, dan penyesuaian format. Instrumen yang dikembangkan adalah BRAVE yang merupakan modifikasi dari instrumen FICA dan HOPE. Kesimpulannya adalah instrumen ini dinilai layak digunakan dengan penyempurnaan dan berpotensi meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan keperawatan yang holistik melalui penguatan aspek spiritual.

Abstract

This qualitative descriptive study explored the impact of Problem-Based Learning (PBL) on the development of future planning, self-directed learning, and essential life skills among eight grade X students at PKBM Alam Jingga, Indonesia. Over a two-week intervention, participants engaged in collaborative PBL sessions addressing real-life scenarios, including career decision-making, financial planning, and community development. Data from observations, journals, presentations, and interviews were analyzed thematically to identify patterns in goal-setting, problem-solving, and coping strategies. Findings reveal that PBL enhanced students’ critical thinking, self-confidence, adaptability, teamwork, and communication, while fostering holistic development by integrating cognitive, social, and emotional learning. Despite limitations, the study highlights PBL as a transformative pedagogical approach that prepares learners for academic, professional, and lifelong challenges.

Abstract

Pengabdian kepada masyarakat merupakan lanjutan dari kegiatan sebelumnya yang bertujuan untuk memperluas wawasan para siswa dan siswi di berbagai disiplin ilmu, termasuk di dalamnya ilmu manajemen. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan memperkenalkan konsep digital marketing kepada siswa sekolah menengah kejuruan, dengan harapan lulusan dapat menjadi mandiri melalui jalur wirausaha. Tujuan utama dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman awal tentang kewirausahaan melalui digital marketing kepada pelajar tingkat SMK. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMK Yadika 13 Tambun dengan metode yang mencakup penyampaian materi melalui presentasi, sesi diskusi, serta praktik pembuatan konten digital marketing, sesuai bidang manajemen. Materi yang disampaikan meliputi pengenalan peran digital marketing, perbandingan antara pemasaran tradisional dan digital, serta elemen konten digital. Secara keseluruhan, seperti pada di bidang manajemen kegiatan ini memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan wawasan dan keterampilan peserta dalam memulai wirausaha sejak dini. Community service is a continuation of the previous activity that aims to broaden the horizons of students in various disciplines, including management science. This community service activity aims to introduce the concept of digital marketing to vocational high school students, with the hope that graduates can become independent through entrepreneurship. The main objective of this activity is to provide an initial understanding of entrepreneurship through digital marketing to vocational high school students. This activity was carried out at SMK Yadika 13 Tambun with a method that included delivering material through presentations, discussion sessions, and practical digital marketing content creation, according to the management field. The material presented included an introduction to the role of digital marketing, a comparison between traditional and digital marketing, and elements of digital content. Overall, as in the management field, this activity had a positive impact in increasing the insight and skills of participants in starting entrepreneurship from an early age.
