Abstract

Perkembangan dan kemajuan teknologi, serta aktivitas dan perilaku manusia, sering kali berdampak negatif terhadap lingkungan, terutama melalui polusi yang dihasilkan. Kepedulian terhadap lingkungan dalam konteks pendidikan ditandai oleh sikap yang spesifik, yang dibentuk berdasarkan teori nilai. Mengingat banyaknya kerusakan lingkungan yang disebabkan oleh aktivitas manusia, yang berujung pada pencemaran dan kerusakan alam, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menanamkan dan meningkatkan kepedulian lingkungan, dimulai dari kegiatan di sekolah. Sekolah berfungsi sebagai tempat awal pendidikan untuk menumbuhkan rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah purposive sampling, dengan analisis kuantitatif deskriptif yang melibatkan metode wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Ketiga metode ini saling melengkapi dan memiliki kekuatan yang sama dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian di SMP N 23 Semarang menunjukkan pencapaian yang sangat baik, dengan nilai akhir sebesar 94,74. Secara keseluruhan, sekolah telah mendukung kurikulum berwawasan lingkungan yang diterapkan dalam proses pembelajaran, serta partisipasi aktif warga sekolah dalam menjaga lingkungan. Selain itu, terdapat minat dari masyarakat sekolah untuk memotivasi diri sendiri, yang pada gilirannya mendorong orang lain untuk melakukan hal yang sama. Dengan demikian, sekolah dapat mencapai tujuan sebagai institusi yang berwawasan lingkungan dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The 21st century's digital revolution has had a significant effect on education as well. Media and instructional techniques also evolve to meet the demands of the moment. The implementation of the ASSURE model is one of the many learning models being explored to improve the efficacy of learning. The usefulness of the ASSURE learning paradigm and its implementation procedures for incorporating video content into Islamic religious education (PAI) are covered in this article. The author used a qualitative method with a literature study strategy in this investigation. Our main sources of information are books and articles about the ASSURE method's use and the efficacy of PAI learning. The article conclusion is that improving student interest and learning effectiveness can be achieved by combining the ASSURE learning model with instructional video materials. The ASSURE model's steps analyzing student characteristics, defining learning objectives, choosing instructional strategies and media, utilizing teaching materials, getting students actively involved in the learning process, and evaluating and revising help produce meaningful learning experiences and raise the standard of instruction overall. At the conclusion of the learning process, evaluation is crucial to determine how well the lessons were learned and to offer insightful criticism for future developments. As a result, issues with student engagement and learning ennui in religious education can be effectively resolved by utilizing the ASSURE learning model and learning resources like videos.

Abstract

The humanitarian conflict between Israel and Palestine has spread not only to the real world but also to the virtual world. This research analyzes the #alleyesonrafah movement on social media as a form of global awareness campaign regarding the situation in Rafah, an area in Palestine that is the last line of protection for residents. Through a digital ethnography based on a content analysis approach, this research explores how hashtag is used by social media users to disseminate information, build transnational solidarity, and mobilize support. Data is collected from platforms such as Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, with a focus on the frequency of use of hashtags, types of content shared, and interaction patterns among users. The research results show that the #alleyesonrafah movement has successfully attracted global attention, especially through humanitarian narratives spread by activists, non-governmental organizations, and the general public. This study also reveals the important role of social media as a medium for minority voices and driving social change. The #alleyesonrafah movement has demonstrated the profound power of social media as a tool for raising global awareness and fostering transnational solidarity in the face of humanitarian crises. However, this is only the beginning of understanding the complex interplay between digital activism and real-world impact. To build on this foundation, future research should adopt a multi-dimensional approach that explores not only the immediate effects of hashtag-driven campaigns but also their long-term implications, ethical considerations, and broader societal influences.

Abstract

A study of the representation of multicultural educational values in textbooks is important because textbooks are the primary tool in the process of internalizing values in students. In the context of Indonesia's multicultural society, it is important to ensure that textbooks reflect diversity and encourage inclusive attitudes from an early age. This study aims to uncover the representation of multicultural educational values in Islamic Cultural History textbooks for secondary schools in Indonesia. This study uses a qualitative method with content analysis, and the data sources were taken from fourteen texts in Islamic Cultural History textbooks for Islamic secondary schools written by the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. All books were analyzed using three approaches, namely text analysis, discursive practice, and social practice analysis, as established by Norman Fairclough. The analysis identified seven main messages reflecting multicultural values, including religious tolerance, cross-ethnic collaboration, open and inclusive governance practices, and respect for local wisdom, ethics-based leadership, cultural mixing, and a critical stance toward corruption. These findings underscore the important role of Islamic secondary school textbooks in shaping inclusive educational practices, while also highlighting the need for a more critical and contextual approach to history in multicultural societies.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk mendampingi siswa sekolah dasar di Desa Pidodowetan dalam menggunakan gadget secara bijak guna meminimalkan dampak negatif seperti kecanduan game dan penurunan prestasi belajar, sekaligus mengoptimalkan manfaat teknologi bagi pembelajaran. Metode yang digunakan adalah Participatory Action Research (PAR) yang melibatkan siswa, guru, dan orang tua melalui empat tahapan, yaitu analisis kebutuhan, perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di tiga sekolah dasar dengan partisipasi 53 siswa. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar siswa merupakan pengguna aktif gadget, namun lebih banyak menggunakannya untuk hiburan seperti bermain game, menonton YouTube, dan media sosial, yang berdampak pada penurunan motivasi serta nilai akademik. Melalui program pendampingan yang berisi diskusi interaktif, video edukatif, dan simulasi, siswa menunjukkan peningkatan pemahaman serta kesadaran terhadap pentingnya penggunaan gadget secara bijak dan produktif. Guru dan orang tua juga mulai berperan aktif dalam mengawasi serta membimbing anak di rumah maupun sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, kegiatan ini berhasil menumbuhkan budaya literasi digital yang sehat dan bertanggung jawab sejak usia sekolah dasar, sekaligus memperkuat kolaborasi antara siswa, guru, dan orang tua dalam menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang adaptif terhadap perkembangan teknologi.

Abstract

Program pendampingan masyarakat di Desa Pidodowetan merupakan upaya strategis dalam mengubah paradigma masyarakat terhadap limbah batok kelapa yang semula dianggap tidak bernilai menjadi sumber ekonomi kreatif yang berkelanjutan. Kegiatan ini berfokus pada peningkatan kapasitas UMKM Maichipan sebagai mitra utama melalui serangkaian pelatihan inovasi produk, strategi branding, serta penguatan manajemen dan pemasaran berbasis konsep Branding, Advertising, dan Selling (BAS). Pendekatan partisipatif diterapkan untuk memastikan keterlibatan aktif mitra dan relevansi hasil terhadap kebutuhan lokal. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa proses rebranding berhasil memperkuat identitas merek, peningkatan kualitas produksi meningkatkan daya saing produk, serta penerapan strategi pemasaran digital memperluas jangkauan pasar. Secara sosial, kegiatan ini menumbuhkan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya pengelolaan limbah ramah lingkungan, sedangkan secara ekonomi, tercipta peluang pendapatan baru berbasis ekonomi sirkular. Melalui sinergi antara perguruan tinggi, pelaku usaha, dan pemerintah desa, Desa Pidodowetan berpotensi berkembang menjadi sentra kerajinan batok kelapa yang inovatif dan berdaya saing tinggi.
